Need help.  I want to know of a school wherein i can study commercial breadmaking.  I want to put up a bakery business wherein the pandesal is the wow product.

Good news to all! I am studying Culinary 3 month course under Schoalrship Program. Private School sponsored by Tesda. OJT with well known Restos. Assessment will be done by Tesda. I only paid 2,500  it includes Chef Uniform, polo shirt, apron, hair net, toque, food na lulutuin then you will eat them after you cooked, manuals and id. You will just spend maybe around 300 pesos for your own demo for the cold kitchen. They have evening and afternoon schedule. I am lucky I will graduate by March. I was in the afternoon class but when I transferred work I requested for the evening class and they allowed me. Pls ask mod if I can post the number here. You cann call the school and no need to inform them about me. This is open to all. Paunahan lang ng slot. I learned na Demo chef earns 15k an hour.

Meron bang Culinary School sa Laguna? Preferably near Sta. Rosa or Binan. Kahit yung short courses lang na pwede on weekends.

Hi nga sis.... For all those who wants to take culinary for the income sake.. Walang masama don. But let me tell something that is happening in real world. Im turning 7 years in the business. Im product of ischam and took up diploma in culinary arts.

Being in a chef uniform is a lot of responsibility.so first of all you really need a passion. Withouts this dont think that your career will move.if your career will not move believe me you will have 10,000 pesos basic for ever. And dont think that once you got your job it does'nt mean that you have  a 6 digits income. It takes 5 years for me to have that. Practice patience you need to have a lot of that   have a strong personality you cant just cry in a corner..mens in the kitchen thinks that women cannot handle the pressure there. So you have to proove to the whole world that you are existing..
Now if you are planning to have your own restaurant when you finish your course think thrice. Theres more that you need to learn for operation.go out first and learn take strategy from the proffesionals .

Then if you think you can handle everything. Then choose the right school for you.dont just go for names. Check their criteria if they are eligable of teaching you at least the basic.you can learn more through experience.make it sure that your school can teach you hands on not like a demo classroom.  Goodluck and happy cooking to all

Hi Im a former kulinarista graduated from CCA ( Center for Culinary Arts) in Katipunan. took 2 years of Culinary Arts & Management. Well yes taking up culinary is pricey. I wouldnt recommend this if you're looking for a cheap tuition fee or rates.

Im happy with my school. I've practiced what I've learned but now Im interested on trying another things kase hehe.. sayang lang pero hindi rin naman because the knowledge stays.

i'm also looking for a good culinary school for my son... so far i heard good reviews of micah and iscahm. will inquire with them and have a tour of their facilities.

I've inquired na in ISCAHM QC... It's 360k for 14 months Culinary or Pastry and Baking Course. In CCA it's 880k for 2 years Culinary Course, 480k if only 1 year Course, and 288k for 8 month Pastry and Baking Course.

Next year ill enroll in ISCAHM for the Pastry and Baking Course. Gusto ko talaga gumawa ng mga cakes

Yung friend ko recommendation ISCAHM din kasi magaling daw yung pastry chef sa hands on classes.

Okay ba sa SKD yung kay Chef Boy Logro? short course lang sana gusto ko dahil di ko maiiwan lagi anak ko,once a week na schedule rin ang gusto ng hubby ko kasi may work rin siya ng weekdays..
 
actually hilig ko talagang magluto,mga ulam ang specialty ko,ginagawan ko pa ng ng food photography bago ko i-serve sa hubby ko.gusto ko talaga mag enroll kaso mahal talaga  gusto ko talagang matuloy mag enroll,para madagdagan alam ko sa paglulto.sa SKD kasi mukhang di naman ganun  ka-mahal kaso wala pang feedback,sana meron kayong ma share,,thanks!
