parang di naman kasali sa requirements ang NBI Clearance...  sa mga katatapos lang ng interview, nagdala pa ba kayo nito? ty

no need to bring NBI clearance.  bring black ballpen para the vendors outside will stop bugging you to buy one from them.  but i don't remember the embassy specifying that it must be black.  sis ang earliest appointment is actually 6:15.  so if delayed sila, damay kayo.  dont bring any food, drings, or any liquid and no USB, battery etc.  in short don't bring anything electronic para sure.  kasi if nakita nila sa xray na may dala ka, go home ka na and resched ka again.  sayang gising.  good luck and balitaan mo na lang kami.

sa mga nagpapa sked or nakapag sked na, ano ba dapat piliin don sa mga dates? i mean, may nakita kase ako na, business visit, crew, studying, all other purposes, tourism, etc. ano ba dapat piliin don? yun all other purposes ba kung tourist visa lang kukunin ko?

btw, what if walang kahit anong government issued na id? wala pa ako kahit ano bukod sa passport lang at company id.

What do I need to bring?

much candor as possible. In the end, issuance or denial of a visa depends upon whether or not you, as the
applicant, can overcome the presumption that you intend to immigrate to the United States. Because of this,
always keep in mind that your qualification for a visa is not dependent on the number of documents you bring.
ı For students, please bring your latest school results, transcripts and degrees/diplomas. Also bring
monthly bank statements, fixed deposit slips, or other evidence of financial support. NOTE: You do
NOT need to obtain a letter signed by the bank branch manager summarizing your total deposits.
ı For working adults, please bring evidence of your income for the three months immediately prior to
your interview.
ı Business owners should bring their company registration, bank statements, annual reports and
income statements.
ı Original documents are always preferred over photocopies.
ı If you are visiting a relative who resides in the United States, carry photocopies of the relative’s proof

Anyway, I just wanna share that I got my passport na today, my interview was Mar. 2, 12:15pm. I got 10 yrs Multiple! yay! As in walang hiningi na document saken. Kahit isa. If I only knew, sana dinako nag bayad ng ITR. haha!

Here's the scenario (can't remember pag ka sunod sunod ng interview questions saken)

# 1 question talaga is what's the purpspose of your visit, who you're visiting or where you'll stay, how long? do you have any relatives?

I was asked what do I do for a living. Im the president of a  trading business. 

What do you trade? - anything under the sun but we focus on consctruction materials

How many employees do you have? how long has it been in business? Who are your business partners (consul made sure it wasnt a family business, di naman talaga. I have business partner.

what course did you take?

Do you have family here in the Phils.? YES, I enumerated my family members.

Are you married? NO, I'm single. Do you have kids? NONE.

Ayun, he told me na that your visa application has been approved. Please expect your visa within the next 5-7 business. day.

Abot magkabilang ears na smile ko nun. I was so happy and felt so blessed!

sis baka mas ok na i-pm mo nalang yung email add mo sakin para pdf file ko iattach.. hindi ko kasi maattach pag direct email from gt.. hindi ko ata alam gawin. heheh!

sa mga nagttry magsched alam ko may down period ata ang embassy kasi naglilipat sila ng buidling.. basta sinundan ko lang yung mga questions dun e, tapos nung nagpop yung calendar isa lang ang color green and highlight.. the rest grey na.. hindi ko din naintindihan kung ano ba yun basta nag-ok nalang ako.. haha! feeling ko meant for me ang date na yun talaga eh.. haha

hello mga sis! I'm planning to get my mom over here via tourist visa on September, which is the month I'll be giving birth. I really need her to be here to help me around. Gusto ko talaga for my mom and dad to go here together. Pero baka less chance na ma-approve sila kung pareho sila mag-a-apply. If granted the visa, they'll be back naman before Christmas sa Pilipinas.

My dad has his own steel business and income-wise, hindi naman ganon kalaki ang kinikita niya since parang hobby na lang niya ang business. Mom doesn't have a job and just stays home. What do you think are there chances? Mas better ba kung yung mom ko na lang ang paunahin kong mag-apply? She have ties to go back naman, I have a 8 y.o sister she takes care of, and she really have no plans of staying longer here.

Please I need your ideas! Also when is the best time for her/them to apply? I want her to be here by 1st week of September pa naman, may backlog ba sa applications? thanks

ask ko lang tips kasi my boss here and  in the US is planning to send me sa US siguro few months from now. i'm a bit scared kasi based sa kwento ng mga colleagues ko, even if the trips are company sponsored, marami pa din nadedeny samin. and they're even asked the same question like kung personal un travel reasons mo, ex. savings, what car are you driving, how much money in the bank, salary. 

i'm 26, single and working for 6 years now. I'm a breadwinner kaya i don't have money in the bank. i travelled to hongkong last year. my parents are both unemployed, actually my father is sick pa. ano ba yan..salimuot ng buhay. siempre gusto ko ma-approve. sayang un chance. i have 2 aunts in the US. dun na nakatira mga family nila. my cousin is a former US army hehe.. un na lang kaya sabihin ko? 

kidding aside, i need tips/advice. ano kaya possible questions sakin at mga answers that would make them think na babalik ako ng pinas and di mag-TNT.

^back in 2005 and 2006 pinadala din ako ng company ko sis. mag 4yrs pa lang ako sa work ko nun. i haven't been to any country back then and syempre wala din masyado savings. first sakay ko nga ng eroplano yun papuntang US hehe.

ang mga tinanong sa kin nun 2005 e kung san ako nagwwork, ano nature ng work ko at ano yun role ko at ginagawa ko. then ano yun purpose ng punta ko sa US and how long. mabilis lang sya sis.

nun 2006, halos wala nang tinanong yun consul sa kin. just how long will be the training.

single entry lang ang binigay sa kin in both occassions. mahigpit pa noon e. i haven't tried na mag apply personally ngayon.

pero true na kahit company sponsored e may nadedeny din. nangyari dun sa isang officemate ko. 4 sila then sya lang yun hindi nabigyan. buti na lang hindi rin nagpush through yun trip kaya hindi masakit sa loob kahit pano.

^true. kasi yung friend ko na-deny din kahit company sponsored yung trip niya kasi may training siya sa US. it all boils down to how you answer the consul. nag-apply na lang uli friend ko kahit siya na gumastos. ayun, thank God! nabigyan din at 10 years multiple pa.

  Sa company din namin, 5 ata sila na-approve multiple din, pwera sa isa. Sya lang ang single entry and not more than 45 days ata or even less. lokohan nga sa office, mukha kasi sya mg-TTNT. lol

Hello mga sis, gusto ko lang itanong, sa mga nag-family application, sinusuyod ba yung mga financial/employment documents ng mga sasama pero hindi mag-fifinance?

Yung sitwasyon ko kasi, project-based worker para sa consultant under sa isang kumpanya. Kakatapos ko lang ng 1 year + na project at yung project ko ngayon matatapos after pa ng duration ng trip (pinayagan naman akong mawala). Alam kong hindi tinatax yung 'sweldo' ko pero akala ko ok lang dahil pwede namang i-reason na empleyado talaga ako ng consultant, hindi ng kumpanya (sa kanya kasi na-award yung contract) and therefore honorarium lang ang binibigay sakin. Eh binabasa ko yung guidelines ng BIR at mukhang walang ganung exemption. May mga problema rin sa TIN ko ngayon dahil naglipat kami ng bahay kaya di ko alam kung makakabayad ako kaagad. Pumayag naman yung kumpanya na bigyan ako ng CoE (dahil under naman sa kanila yung consultant) pero wala akong mapapakitang ITR. I'm sure ayaw yun ng consul, kung hingin niya sakin.

Anyway, alam kong malabo yung chances ko dahil young, single, female, hindi plantilla job, pero gusto ko pa ring subukan. Grad kasi ng ate ko e, sayang naman. I was just thinking may chance na baka hindi nila malaman dahil sa nababasa ko, super super bilis lang ang interview (nilagay ko sa DS-160 na empleyado ako ng company, bibigyan naman ako ng CoE ng company, kaya ok lang. di ko lang sinabing project-based, hahaha). Pero siyempre, kung tanungin ako, aaminin ko rin naman na project-based lang ako at walang ITR (kung di ako makakuha). Pero sigurado rin akong insta-reject yun.

I think better if they apply as a couple  or even with your sister para mas solid yun case na purpose of the trip is family vacation and to visit you.  but make sure your parents do not say anything about helping take care of the baby.  no mention of you giving birth etc.  As long as your parents have enough savings to cover their trip and they plan to stay for 30 days or shorter, i don't see any problem.  better if your parents have history of travel to other countries.  the earlier they apply the better.   how long they will stay with you will actually depend on what the consul gives and what the IO gives.
