Ang problema ko naman (similar sa problema ni foxymom) e nawawala yung dating passports ng ate at tatay ko, yun pa naman yung may visa details nila. Kailangan ba yung specifics katulad ng visa number, etc sa app form? Or pwedeng yung date lang yung ilagay namin?

^The application form does not ask for the visa numbers. Previous dates of travel to the US and kailangan mong ilagay.

Yes, the new application will ask were you issued a visa before. if you say yes, there will be a drop box for you to fill in the issue date and the visa number.  the visa number is the red number on the lower right hand of the visa.   if you lost the passport, you need to prepare an affidavit i suppose.

^^I'll correct my earlier post, yes the DS160 form will ask for the last visa issued to you: date and number. But for the other visas prior to that no more na. Just the travel dates will suffice.

Tama - just quote details of your latest US Visa regardless whether it's still effective or expired na.

Kung ganon, ok lang yung tatay ko dahil lumang passport niya yung nawawala, pero yung ate ko yung mahihirapan dahil yung passport niya na may US Visa yung hindi niya makita.

Yes, pwede mag-apply as a family. That's what we did. When you fill-out the ds160, at the end of the application you will be given an option to apply as a group. I believe this has been mentioned in the FAQs, just check it out for exact details.

btw, sino sa inyo na-try na mag appointment or mag check ng sked sa "appointment wait times"? di ko kase alam dapat ko piliin don. kung tourism ba or all other purposes. ano ba dapat icheck ko don? TIA.

homaygulay talaga! yes, will take pa rin the exam on may 25th. itong visa na lang talaga kelangan ko to get there. kung available lang dito ang exam, i wouldn't bother going there. ang gastos kaya, as in.

i bet PT ka rin sis. okay ka na sa lahat? US visa and all? will also include in my prayers and in my novena.

i plan to take the dec exam sis, so my horror days'll be pretty much during the -ber season you got pm!

^You can print the DS160 after you have completed filling it up. And you can access the available slots for interview after you have  paid for the visa application.

Help!

I need to have an idea how scheduling/appointment work after applying/paying.

Do we get to choose a schedule / specific date and time? And parang how soon or how long ang pwedeng earliest schedule that we can get.

I am going with my sister kasi who's still studying, so we want to do it this summer. After Holy Week pa siya pwede - end of April pa. I want to know if we have to start applying na ba as early as now. Thanks!

i plan to take advantage of the personal invitation letter (meaning it was addressed to my name) from the international reading association to attend their upcoming seminar this may 8-11 in florida. the date of the letter is nov 19, 2010 (i think i should prepare an answer as to why i am only applying for a visa just now,hehe!)

my parents were petitioned by my sister 3 years ago.

my sister is now a US citizen residing in texas.

all of them are coming back to the phils this june 6 (i have a copy of their plane tickets)

i am a teacher in UP, on study leave until may, bound to do return service for the next 3 semesters as payment for the study leave that was granted to me. temporary pa lang ang status of employment but upon finishing my thesis magiging permanent na.

money in the bank is only Php 1XX,XXX

has a dollar acct with only 500 usd

has been to singapore early this year

single but very much attached

now here are my questions:
1. ok lang ba ideclare ko na tutulungan ako ng sister ko with the expenses?

2. better ba if i'll tell them that i'll stay in florida first assuming i plan to arrive on may 7, a day before the seminar. then,i'll stay in my sister's house in texas until the date when we will all travel back to manila?
hoping kasi ko na pag nakita nilang uuwi mga relatives ko dun, mas hindi nila iisipin na magttnt ako dba?

3. ano pa kaya ang pwedeng pt of denial ko? bukod sa single ako, teacher ako, at nasa states ang family ko.. waaaah!!!

i am hoping that the following could help:
a. IRA letter of invitation personally addressed to me
b. study leave contract which serves as a bond for the next year
c. flight tickets of my family

^sis, after you click on the start application it will direct you to another page that has three options. Choose which option yung para sa yo. You have to have an application ID to proceed.

   hi mga sis, wats the basic requirements for us tourist visa, ito lang po kasi ang alam ko:

        - birth certificate from nso
        - marriage certificate
        - nbi clearance
        - bank certificate / passbook
   business documents like:
          -dti
          - mayors permit
          - bir registration
          - itr

    ano pa po ang mga need kong iprepare? my inlaws are both immigrant nasa states sila ngayon, meron ba akong need na hingin sa kanila na documents.

hi sis! after asking friends who just had their visa application confirmed that the option to reprint the DS160 is now disabled. It was actually in the confirmation page (was correct). Not sure why US Embassy website have this feature not available though.

Our interview is tomorrow! Hope all ends well for me, hubby and kid Yhanks for the help.
