confused.. I'm not sure kasi what to put sa home address. My permanent address is in Mindanao. I'm currently working in Luzon, a little over 2 years now. I'm renting an apartment but there's no contract (there used to be one, but after it expired -- 1 year ago -- hinde na nag contract landlady namin). I'm not sure what to write sa home address and sa mailing address ko, although I can probably write office address sa mailing. Pero sa home, not sure what to do with it.

Any suggestions?

Hi guys.  Just a quick question.  I left US two weeks ago.  But nobody took my I-94 departure card.  Will there be a problem?  Might I be charged with overstaying?

^You have to submit it ASAP!!!...it's good you asked about it...if you've noticed flying out of the US, they don't have immigrations clearance or no one stamps your passport unlike when one arrives there, so the I-94 is their basis for your departure from their country.

Let me quote from the official US Embassy MNL website. My sugg. are at the bottom:

"Travelers' failure to turn in their U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Form I-94 when they leave the United States can create a serious problem for them on their next visit to the United States. Without this record of the departure, they will be identified in U.S. records as "overstay." Being identified as an overstay means that a person will be denied re-entry into the United States.

If travelers discover that they still have their Form I-94 when they return home, they should send it to the DHS as quickly as possible, along with documentation proving that they left the United States. Documentation to prove departure from the United States could include the boarding pass from the departing flight, evidence of arrival in another country (i.e. copy of a passport stamp), or other evidence. If they exited the country by a land border, it is much harder to verify that they did, in fact, leave the country on the date they claim.

Travelers' Form I-94 and accompanying evidence of departure should be sent to:

ACS Inc.
1084 South Laurel Rd.
London, Kentucky 40744

If the above office does not have any supporting documents to substantiate their claim to have left the United States on a certain date, there is no guarantee that they will be entered into the record as having done so.

Travelers are strongly encouraged to keep a copy of what they send to ACS Inc. and to carry it with them the next time they come to the United States in case the United States Customs and Border Protection officer has any questions about their eligibility to enter. If they wish to confirm that the Form I-94 departure was recorded, four months after submitting documents to ACS, travelers can write to the following address with their name, date of birth, passport number, date of departure, and request to confirm whether or not their departure was recorded:

If they turned in the Form I-94 or I-94W when they left the United States as required, please do NOT request confirmation that it is on file. This process is only for people who did not turn in the Form I-94 or I-94W when they exited the United States."

===>You can also ask for a certification from the airline you boarded attached with a copy of the manifest as additional proof, too...aside from your boarding pass and MNL arrival stamp copies, if you want.

^sis lischan, its perfectly ok to use your current addy rather than yung sa province mo.
From my experience, yung current addy ko rin where im staying ang ginamit ko at even yung ginamin ng hubby at kids ko. Ito yung house na nag re rent kami kasi mas malapit sa workplace namin. But we have our own townhouse sa Marikina and another one sa Province. Yung nirerentahan namin, wala ding contract or anything.

Sis Flygirl, you're an angel.  Thanks thanks for the reply.  I just wrote to US embassy on how I can return the I-94 departure card.  At this moment, naiinis ako doon sa check in rep ng Delta for not getting my I-94 sa Honolulu at ang hassle nito because I'm about to apply for renewal ng US visa ko this February.

^sis lischan, its perfectly ok to use your current addy rather than yung sa province mo.
From my experience, yung current addy ko rin where im staying ang ginamit ko at even yung ginamin ng hubby at kids ko. Ito yung house na nag re rent kami kasi mas malapit sa workplace namin. But we have our own townhouse sa Marikina and another one sa Province. Yung nirerentahan namin, wala ding contract or anything.

I'm not really going there for leisure. I'm going to take the state board exam. sana makalusot talaga ako.

a friend of mine went there last year as tourist, pero nag exam sya.  he's a PT.  nung pumasa, he went to chicago. nakahanap ng employer. and now nakaprocess na papers nya.   the company is sponsoring him.  nasa pilipinas na sya now, waiting.  pero sya rinang may sabi na it will take years. 2 the least.

Hi what are my chances pala for applying for a tourist visa..
26 years old..single
I've been to HK and Singapore
And sa port of entry: I will be staying in Corpus christi, texas and what if walang nonstop flight to corpus and may stopover sa lax or jfk or japan? Or lagay ko lang san ako magstay? What if we decided to also go to Orlando, Florida..
My parents and siblings are all here. And also all of them are working
My mom is a nursing professor, owns car, has a hotel membership.
I have joint accounts with her, peso and dollar..350k
I also have my own savings acount..250k
I've been working for more than 4 years sa Sykes (call center)..
My mom also wants to apply pero don't know if sabay kami because of our busy schedule..She worked as a nurse sa Saudi 10 years ago pa. She now works as a professor
I've been to Hong Kong and Singapore..
I've always wanted to go the the States ever since. (vacation, shopping na din)

My maternal grandmother and all her siblings are US permanent residents in texas..I will be staying at her sister's house (grandaunt)

"Have you been ten-printed", I honestly cannot remember if I have been finger printed sa lahat ng daliri. There are only 2 choices for this, Yes or No. Should I just say No?

^^xtine-no problem...good luck and hope the problem gets resolved soon. ya, it's primarily the check in agent's responsibility to get the I-94, kaya when I travel, I make it a point to keep track of it (in case it falls out of my passport pa) pag pabalik-balik documents ko from the agent to me (in case I travel on sublo basis)...mahirap na nga mawala yun.

ten print--eto yung second step pag pasok mo ng consulate eh.  di ba you submit your passport and appointment letter sa desk. tapos pipila ka for ten-print.

hi, me and my 2 kids had our scheduled interview last jan 28. i had to renew mine, while for my kids, it's their first time. we were granted visas, but  haven't received yet our passports, so i still don't know how many years and binigay.

the interview with the consul was very quick, maybe 5 minutes only. the questions were all about work. my husband, who already has a us visa, was also asked a few questions - about work also. tapos, the kids, nangungulit! they also wanted to answer questions daw, kaya the consul, maybe just to satisfy the pangungulit ng mga bagets, asked them their names, birthdays, ages, and level in school. and they answered in all biboness... 

tapos yun na, sabi niya "job well done kids!" 

question, is there a way we can check when they will deliver the passports? i have to go to my doctor kasi for an appointment. anyone knows? thank you.

congrats sis.  normally between 3 to 7 days yan.  better iwan ka na lang ng letter of authorisation to anyone in your hourse who has a government issued ID.  Refer ka sa US Embassy website for details. alternatively, you can use the passport track ng US Embassy website to track where your passport is.

I've been lurking in this thread and trying to gain strength..  Hehe.

Pa-assess naman. I know very low chances if may pending petition but I still want to try. 

Here are my details:

1. Female, 28 years old working as manager sa bank.
2. Earning more than 50K a month.
3. Has XXX,XXX savings. Owns a car under my name.
4. Pending petition but I think I'm overaged na for this so I'm not really priority.
5. Dad is LPR, brother is US citizen but mom is here and no plans to go there.
6. Been to Hongkong and UK.

What do you think are my chances?
