gusto ko na rin mag apply ulit ng visa. isasama ko na nanay ko sa pag apply/renew. kapag ba ganun na group, pag approved yun isa, approved na rin lahat? or posibleng may isang ma reject at isa lang ang ma approve?

may visa na si mother nag expire nung July. 5yrs multiple sya kasi ang stepdad ko e US citizen. ako naman twice na nagkaron 2005 at 2006 pero tig one entry lang for company training lang. sana multiple 10yrs na ibigay this time. mukhang maluwag pa rin naman sila di ba? 

is it true na di na pwede mag-iwan ng cellphone dun pag may interview ka?

sis bawal any kind of electronics i.e. cellphones, cameras, iPod, etc. Wala ka rin mapapag-iwanan sa labas unless you'll trust those vendors outside (katakot!) Leave everything at home na lang.

wahhhh! inisa-isa ko na hanggang 2015 un calendar lahat nakacolor lang na "not available" & "non-business day" un mga dates... bakit ganun?! (

There must have been a technical problem the time you tried to access the appointment calendar...it is available 24hrs a day. I used it a few weeks ago and was able to schedule my parents' interviews...I did it at 9pm...

Glad to hear that. When I made my parents' skeds, a whole lot of dates were available...like 2days later from the time I opened VISAPOINT, meron na...it was a week before sembreak, though.

By the way, just want to ask if anyone here have same situation like mine or know same case. Currently I'm holding an L1 valid visa until Oct 2011 but this is under blanket with my company (this is the first US Visa I got). I've been to US twice sent by my company to work there for project basis. So now I am applying for B1/B2 visa for personal travel since my reason is I don't want to use that L1 for my personal trip. I also have US Social Security Number since our company required it when we were in US for 3months.

Do you think there will be any conflict on my application for B1/B2? And what's the chance that I could get multiple entry Visa? (hopefully 10-year validity)

Thanks but my parents already had their interview when I got back from Singapore, 08NOv...they both got 10yr b1/b2 visas...

Hi sis.. depende pa din sa consul kung aaprove ka or not.. kahit gaano kadame yung supporting documents mo minsan hindi nila hinahanap yun, nagbabase lang talaga sila sa application na ibibigay mo.. pagdating mo kasi sa embassy ipapasa mo lang sa pre-screening windows is yung primary documents and yun na din ang ibibigay sa consul.. hope this will help you!

mga sis here's my case..

last 2007 our immigrant papers comes and its okey na for payment na lang .pero di ako sumama sa parents and younger sister ko kasi mas pinili ko to get married.im heart over mind that time okey naman din kasi financially husband ko he had hardware family business and that im in marrying age na 25 years old . kaya mas pinili ko na lang magasawa...right now my parents and my sister stay there in colorado stable na din sister ko kahit papano she had her own homecare business in colorado .isang beses pa lang ako nakapunta abroad sa hongkong lang nung naghoneymoon kami.

now presently im 28 years old na with 1 daughter na 2.9 years old and months old pa lang na baby. im plain housewife na kasi after i get pregnant with my 2nd child nagresign nako sa work and im just here at home enjoying with my 2 kids...

my question is if ever na magapply ako for tourist visa may chance pa bako?.....what are the percentage? gusto ko lang kasi at least makaexperience makapunta sa states u know makakita ng snow and makita sister ko... pwede ko ba sabihin sa consul na i dont have plan to stay ng matagal dun kasi i have 1 daughter 1 son na maiiwan dito and if dati ko pa gusto magstay ng matagal sa states di sana sumama nako sa parents ko dati immigrant visa pa nga yun eh babayaran na lang .thanks so much

In the new online app form DS-160, there's a question whether you have a US SSN. All members of my family have one, I don't know why kinuhaan kami during the 90's. I think it was for opening a bank account?
My mom still even has a valid US driver's license. None of us are US citizens except my sister which was only born there. We just go there for vacations before.

Anyway, ask ko lang kung may na-question na ba dito during an interview about having those kinds of info? (SSN & drivers license)

sis darna88, yes malaki pa din ang chance mo na makakuha ka ng us visa. same kasi kayo ng case ng hubby ko. nung dumating yung papers nila ng parents nya for immigrant status, di na sya sumama kasi nagpakasal kami on the same year so parents na lang nya ang tumuloy sa us, bukod pa line of work nya that he has to serve the country for 8 years. so double, double talaga yung hurdle ng hubby ko. nag apply sya last year kasama mga kids namin, na ages 4 and 5.

ayun , nabigyan naman lahat ng visa. pero medyo tough ang questions sa hubby ko, lalo na dun sa immigrant application nya. pati yung tungkol sa parents nya, tinanaong kung nakit nasa us. nastressed ako pero happy naman ang outcome. basta truthful lang lagi sa mga answers at talagang it should come across, na gusto mo lang bumisita at wala kang plans na ipursue yung immigrant status mo.

mga sis, can you assess my status kung ano ang possibiliy na ma-approve ako ng US visa.

1. UP faculty for 6 years now- not yet tenured but currently on study leave ( my 1 and 1/2 year study leave will end this may 2011... as per university rule and as stated in my study leave contract, i need to do a return service for 1 and  1/2 years also. so tali pako sa UP til 2nd sem of 2012)

2. with around 150k in the bank

3. with a car (second-hand, fully paid)

4. with travel to singapore on jan 16-19, 2011

5. will purchase a lot worth around 1M thru pag-ibig on Jan/Feb 2011

6. with a letter of invitation addressed to my name from The International Reading Asociation for their upcoming seminar on May 2011 (i'm a reading major by the way)

7. my only sibling is a teacher in the US and is already a citizen

8. my parents were petitioned by my sister and are staying with her at the moment

9. i am single pero may bf malapit na ring ma-engage

10. hindi strong ang personality ko, medyo mahiyain and not confident most of the time

ayoko talaga magstay sa US for long kasi i love my job and my fiance here.hehe!  i'm just thinking na baka with the help of letter of invitation personally addressed to me baka mas madali ako ma-approve. kung hindi man ako umalis next year at least for future use di ba? malay mo multiple entry igrant sakin. ano sa tingin nyo mga sisses?

also, ok lang ba after na ng singapore trip ko ako magpasched if ever? aabot pa ba yun pag may 2011 yung target seminar na aattendan ko kunwari. ty

^ yes sis, kung may 2011 pa naman yung seminar mo, abot na abot ka pagbalik mo galing ngs singapore. although para mas ok, as early as december, kumuha ka na ng interview sked mo na either for end of january or february.

sis b1b2 rin ba daw ang need mong visa pag sa seminar?
kasi b1b2 ay for tourist, kung seminar kasi, di ko masyadong alam. pero kung work- related baka ibang klaseng visa muna.

Actually, here's what it's exactly for:

# B-1/B-2: The visitor visa, which is issued to aliens for several purposes:

    * B-1: For personal/domestic employees of B, E, F, H, I, J, L, O, P, and Q visa holders and U.S. citizens temporarily assigned to the United States
    * B-1/OCS: For crewmembers working on Outer Continental Shelf (B-1/OCS) and yachts (B-1)
    * B-1/B-2: For general business purposes (e.g., meetings, short-term training); for tourism, visit to relatives and friends, or similar reasons
    * B-1/B-2: For Medical or Emergency Situations
          o Medical Examinations
    * B-1/B-2: For business travel in the Priority Interview Program (PIP)


If I remember correctly, the B2 per se is the tourist visa...pag combo ng B1 kasi that's for tourist/short term etc...some people are issued kasi just B2 if strictly for tourist purposes lang ...

Talaga??? Ayos ah! So di ka naman na-interview upon entry?? I guess ushu...contact the embassy to be sure...pero ganun official definition ng b1/b2 kasi....Ako I've had an A-2 visa before...dependent of a government official....when my dad had military schooling in the states before...uso pa multiple indefinite..haha

hind sis, deadma lang sa akin upon entry. ha! ha! lagi lang silang deadma sa akin sa port of entry, mukha daw kasi akong harmless, : )!
although single entry lang yun, then nag revert na ko sa usual b1b2 ko sa mga succeeding trips ko.
