thank you sa mga tips! all helpful! i was granted a visa yday. dont know yet how long, but anyway some tips i'm sharing with you guys for my 3 1/2 hour stay sa embassy, just bcos i was super early for my 1230 interview.
- best to come early so if they decide not to follow the sched, at least your there.
- dress to impress. i believe that first impressions count, and you don't always get that second chance. do not come in leggings, tank top, and sneakers. or jeans and tshirt. wear something presentable and decent. it's like a job interview.remember that window, it's like a picture frame, so waist up, you better look decent, if you still decide to wear slippers or something. of course, it won't prove your ties to the phils, but at least you don't look like your homeless or just seeing for greener pasture look.
- i've been told countless times that they don't care about your purpose in the phils, you have to prove that there's reason for you to come back to the phils... bcos of the presumption that you want to be an immigrant not unless you can prove otherwise. always keep that in mind.
- best to print your application cos they only get questions from there.
- if you accomplished the online application with the aid of another person, kindly declare it. cos a couple was interrogated when asked if they had the aid of another person, they said yes, but in in the online application, it said no. they were asked by the lady (not yet the consul, but some other person who facilitates the queing of applicants). the couple was asked to return by 130 with the changed application with the declaration that they asked the aid of another person. it was already 1130am at that time. if they wouldn't make it by 130pm, they have to be resched. i dont know what happened to them anymore if they made it or not.
- so there, about the korean girl consul, another friend warned me about her so, around 15 numbers down to my slot, i checked out who the consuls were.6 windows, 2 females, 4 males. one korean looking girl and an american looking girl. matagal mag interview yung korean girl.yung iba mabilis lang din. i was fortunate na sa lalaki ako napunta cos i'd find it easier to talk my way trough it.

- expired visa: may 2009
- US visits: 2x
dec 1997, 3-4 weeks
nov 2008, 3 weeks
- reason why i wasnt able to renew, at the time it was expiring, i was changing jobs, i had to wait for a year, but i already intended to apply had paid the visa fee already, but wasn't able to use cos i forgot na one year lang pala ang validity nun, so had to get a new one dahil nagexpire na appli.
- current job: 1 yr and 3 mos, i work in the retail/fashion industry
i brought the fjfust in case (pero walang tiningnan)
-bank certification (joint account with mom X,XXX,XXX, less than P2M and dollar account 6k)
- bank certifaction of my mom's account, close to 1M
-payslips (last 3 months)
- ITRs
- birth certificate
- pictures of family, friends, etc (haha! just in case!)
- old visa application payment/old application form (to prove that i originally intended to renew before my visa expiration)

- how many times have you been to the US, length of each stay
- tell me about your job, how long have you been in this company, what was your old company prior to this
