Mas okay ba mag visa point kesa tumawag sa 1800? Kaso may limit din pala sa visapoint, up to three lang nakita ko sa FAQs. Ano pang advantage?

Naisip ko lang naman na I would have to check often yung available sked kasi hinahabol ko na dapat before sana ng expiration ng visa ko yung interview.

Question, ideally ba dapat before expiration mag renew na or okay lang kahit hindi?

Just a question, is it true that if you're a single female you'll be denied right away when you apply for a US tourist visa?

Please I need your opinion on this. I'm 27 years old, single, working with my current employer for 3 years and 6 months already. Traveled in Saudi Arabia twice. Have 500k savings. Family and boyfriend are here in the country. Would like to go to the US for pleasure - to visit my relatives, shop. It's actually my birthday gift for myself. Would only stay for 10 days (that's the number of days I'm allowed lang by my employer).

^Hindi naman 100% ang denials pag single. I have a friend who's single and was granted a 10-year. But very recently, another single friend got denied. The latter has immediate family members (mom and sis) living in the US.

Recently lang ba nainterview yung single friend mo that was granted a visa? How old is she? Someone told me kasi that I'm SINGLE OVERAGE and iniisip daw agad ng consul I'll go there and maghahanap ng mapapangasawa. URGH!  I hope I'll be granted a visa. Haven't been in the US and would like that tour as a gift to myself for my upcoming birthday.

Just paid for two visa applics today for my parents...will travel with them in the summer with my kids...my kids and I will be using ours again para sulit before it expires this coming April.. can't get over how much the visa fees have jacked up over the years..hehe cheapskate that I am...good luck to y'all applying...

How old is your friend na nadeny sis? Is she working? Wut was the reason daw why sya nadeny?

Well i'll go ahead and submit my ds 160 tom and pa schedule na din for the interview. I wouldn't stop praying.

boyfie applied for a tourist visa last Sep 3. na deny siya because of his pending visa number for his petition.  similar case ng nadeny na friend ni sis angeljolie

he's graduating next year. he's been to hk, sg and my pa lang.

he brought all the possible docus that the consul might ask of him during the interview. yun nga yung gripe nya eh, nagdaladala pa siya ni isa walang hiningi sa kanya. sa pc lang nakatingin yung consul then inask yung:

name
petition status
person who petitioned him

and ayun, wala pang 1 minute nabigyan na sya ng blue paper.  wait na lang daw for his visa number sa approved petition nya.

^^Oo naman, there's no problem if you don't have relatives there. What they're on the look out for is your ties to the Philippines. That you won't be overstaying and be a charge of the state sa kanila.

^^ thanks for the prompt reply. i was thinking kasi baka the denial had something to do with his  status in the Phils. since student pa lang sya.

sana someone can post an experience on: applying a tourist visa but waiting for a priority date to be current, at the same time has been working for several years, has/had a "presentable" bank account, & has been to several countries with visas.

or tila bawal talaga mag apply ng tourist visas ang mga may current petition?

^may kilala ako naka-petition sya f4 ba yun sister of a usc. housewife sya, nakakuha naman sya ng visa. baka lang kasi matagal naman processing ng f4 kaya sya nagbigyan ng visa kahit na wala syang malaking pera sa bank!?

pero usually nade-deny talaga pag may pending petition, lalo na pag malapit na maging current. katulad nung isang housewife din, naka-petition naman yung husband nya pero na-deny pa rin sya kasi yung daughter naman nya just got married to a usc. so depende talaga sa consul and ties. you will only find out if you try. pero malaki naman siguro chances mo. good luck!

^ thank you for the info. most likely, i believe, there's truth to what you're saying. kasi sayang nga naman if your PD is soon to be current and then mag a-apply ka pa ng tourist visa. nakakahinayang din ang tourist visa fee and all and then may visa denial stamp pa ang passport. pero sayang yung thanksgiving day & good friday plans this year.

yun din ang problem ko eh. i was about to apply for a tourist visa a few months ago. nag back out lang ako kasi i have a pending immigrant petition din. if God permits, it's gonna be current in 3 years time. one sis kasi, was denied early this year when she applied for a visa. basta hindi na ata sya nakasagot nung sunod sunod yung speech nung consul about her pending petition. hindi nako nag try... hindi din enough na i have strong family/economic ties here and hubby has 10years multiple. the petition would really stain my application. IMO. :/
