Yep sis, you will be interviewed separately provided you are not yet married... You have better chances once you're married. This may be a plus but of course, there are other things you have to take into consideration. As long as you can convince the Consul that you have enough economic ties then there's no reason for denial sis. Goodluck and happy wedding in advance!

we applied online last August 16, upon checking earlier August 31 was the only available slot for interview...when me and hubby is done with four applications (with our 2 kids) we tried checking on the schedule and August 23 was already available..we chose the 8:30 am slot. we had only less than 5 days to prepare and settle everything. on the day of our interview  we arrived at 7:30, there were no available parking area except at the bayview hotelt and the museo pambata which was not yet open that time. we parked infront bayview hotel. the kids had some pastries at Starbucks before we proceeded. we were scheduled at 8am pala!!!!! there were already 124 numbers ahead our schedule and we waited for more than 4 hrswe waent in the pavillion while waiting where air 21 is located..we noticed konti lang nagpupunta sa air21 (courier for the visa  approved passports) hirap maghintay.... we were interviewed by a a tall American guy who looked strict..ahead of us was a lady which took quite long, then it was our turn, all the four of us..he was not smiling..we greeted him and he reeted to me and hubby separately. since hubby is the principal applicant most of the Q's were thrown at him.. my hubby is a military and the Q's were:
CO:what is purpose of your travel:H: i am invited to attend the ___________ convention.
CO: May i see the invitation pls?
Hubby showed the invitation.
CO: so i guess you guys would wanna go to Disneyworld ( said to me and the kids while he was smiling)
ME: Yes! that's the plan
CO: what is your rank sir?
Hubby answered)
CO: smiling..that's what i was about to say (how long have u been an my husband's rank)
CO: how long have you been an officer Sir?
Hubby answered
CO: (turned to my husband) looking at the computer, Aren't you too young to be________________(hubby's rank)he was smiling
Hubby: no Sir. I am already ______ yo
CO: smiling..really. when is your next promotion Sir? kelan?
Hubby: next year sir!
CO: guys you will be going to Disney world because that's what i am gonna put here.. he was smiling

CO: looking at the kids say hi to mickey mouse for me, then turned to us.. Guys i am gonna get your passports for your visa!
YEY! we were approved..
just received the visa today and it was 10 yrs Multiple. can't thank God enough. Goodluck to those scheduled for interview!

actually, boyfie and his pops (in the US) talked yesterday bout people getting denied of a US visa after the quirino bloodbath.  they took it lightly lang eh, said pag meant to be, meant to be. kung ayaw nila ng pinoy na turista, sayang ang kita. pag pinoy pa naman, shopping kung shopping!

hi! my sis and bro just passed the interview last aug 27 they we're ko kind naman..pero immigrant visa yun minor cla..ok naman isang question lang nga mga sis..tapos napa ka funny pa kasi my bro is a special child natulog pa talaga sa chair doon sa embassy while doing the interview..tiningnan lang ng consul tawa ng tawa....sana ganun palagi mood nila...[textspeak!] luck mga sis!!!

denied si bf kanina. he was so sad kasi akala nya makakavisit siya this christmas.

his having a pending petition (waiting na lang for a visa number) was the consul's ground for not granting him a visa. sayang.

8am yung interview nya, marami naman daw na approve na nagkumpulan sa a21. pero mas marami napansin nyang nadeny.

Hi mga sis. I'm a 19-year-old student (about to graduate this April) planning to apply for a US visa renewal. Since this is my first time na mag-aapply without my parents' help, I have no idea kung ano gagawin. Can you please help me?

Gusto ko na kasi sanang makakuha ng visa as soon as possible. Sabi kasi nila mas malaki ang possibility na mareject ako pag nakagraduate na, lalo na at nursing pa ang course ko. Baka isipin nila mag TNT ako.

This January 2010 lang nag-expire yung multiple visa ko. Pero I'm really scared na baka ma-reject ako since out of the 10 years na binigay sakin, once lang ako nakapuntang US (and medyo rushed pa yun, siguro mga 2-3 weeks lang kasi magpapasukan na). Right now, yung dad ko may multiple visa while yung sa mom and younger sisters ko nag-expire na din. Feeling nyo mag-iinquire sila about my US travel history?

And another thing, very particular ba sila sa new passport? Gamit ko pa kasi yung luma and this September ko pa lang mapaparenew nung bago so worried ako na baka hindi nila makita sa travel history ko yung recent trip ko to Singapore. Baka kasi pag nakita nila yung electronic passport ko na walang kalaman-laman eh lalo lang lumaki yung chances ko na mareject.

What do you guys think? Hopeless na ba yung case ko? I really need all the advice that I can get XD

^better chances if you apply as a family. kasi you are graduating diba? who will finance your trip? baka tanungin. might as well, apply ka with your mom and sisters. since you were approved before, madali na lang yan kasi may travel history ka na sa US =) kahit new passport pa yan, they will see that you've been to the US before and came back.

Sis kissmehappiness, since you're 19 already, despite you renewing with your family, you will be interviewed most probably alone. With regards to your status, ang magiging disadvantages mo sis is you're single, graduating so soon and your course. However, ang advantage mo naman is you've been to the US na.

Honestly sis, given your situation, I suggest you wait a bit longer. Establish yourself first. Find a stable job, etc. You should find ways to strengthen your economic ties. If you are going to backread, I have multi-millionaire friends here who recently got denied despite the fact they've been to the US about 6x. Could be because they are fresh graduates and only working for their family's business.

With regards to your travel history, bring your old passport na lang sis just in case you decide to renew your Visa. Para makita nila yung mga stamps.

Sis not that I'm discouraging you ha. Who knows din di ba. Nothing wrong with trying anyway. Goodluck!

yes - kailangan yun employer's cert.  backread  ka sis.  may sis tayo na nag share kung ano ang kailangan dalhin including paggawa ng spreadsheet

Balak ko nga sana magtake ng NMAT this December then hopefully pag pumasa, sasabihin ko sa interview na balak kong mag-doctor pagkagraduate ko. Para at least may reason pa ako para bumalik. Do you think that'll work? Haha

ok thanx sis..paano yung sa interview sis? may confirmation letter ba confirming that ur scheduled on that date? wala kasi ako natanggap sa email ko but i have a confirmation number, they gave it to me when i called nung nagpa schedule ako..

You are sooo right sis. Prayers work wonders. At times naman din sis asa pagsagot mo lang talaga yan. Just be confident when answering and look straight into the Consul's eyes.
