^ hindi ko din inimagine sis na ganun din katagal yung interview. haha. e pano naman kasi.. yung pari na nag-interview sa amin, part daw sya ng marriage tribunal kaya todo examine kung sure na ba talaga kami sa pagpapakasal. haha.

Hi sisses! We're having our canonical interview sa CTK on Sept 11. Mga sisses na nakapag-canonical interview na sa CTK, pa-share naman ng experiences nyo.  like what were the common questions asked.. After backreading, I found out na merong enumerations! Haha. Sabi ko tuloy kay h2b, mag-review kami sa Sat. Haha

Sis during our canonical interview in malate we were first ask to answer a set of questionaire mga basic personal questions about myself, our relationship, our views about mariage and divorce and having children. Then we were interviewed by the priest separately the questions he asked were also based on the questionaire then the priest called us both to have our interview together.

and yun nga din pala.. sa mga nagbabalak na ikasal sa st benedict church sa westgrove, canonical interview muna bago reservation. hehe. sinwerte lang kami kasi hindi pa sila ganun ka-higpit nung nag-reserve kami june last year.

I think better nga na interview muna bago pa-reserve ng church for wedding kasi paano nga kung sinabi ni father na sa opinion nya eh di pa handa ikasal yung couple, paano na ngalang lahat ng preps na ginawa?

Ano ba mga specific questions na tinatanong sa canonical interview? Na-prepressure naman ako... hehe

Thank you, sis! Na-stress ako ng konti specially meron daw instances na i-enumerate 10 commandments, sacraments, etc. I am a catholic pero hindi ko na kabisado yung mga yun..  I guess we just have to be ourselves. Good thing, pareho kami ng values ni h2b.. Thank you sis mspepot

kami din may finill-upan na series of forms/questionnaires before ininterview ni father. during the interview proper, super light lang promise. ang naaalala ko lang tinanong samin is gano na kami katagal mag bf and gf and ilang taon na kami, what made us decide na pakasal na, etc. mabilis lang ilang minutes lang. super bihis na bihis pa naman kami hehe.

Kami din sis, nag-memorize pa kami on our way to the church. Wala ako 10mins ininterview and su h2b walang 5 mins haha

Hi mga sis, clarify ko lang makakapag pasked lang tayo ng canonical interview kapag nasubmit na lahat ng requirements right? Baka meron jan nakaexperience sa Shrine of Jesus, share naman

Sis LGV iba iba rin sis depende sa church niyo like kame kahit wala pa yung wedding banns and confirmation certificate ni hubby ini sked na kame for canonical interview yung pre cana after namin naibigay yung lahat ng documents at nkapag fully paid kame ska bingay yung sked namin for pre cana.

^^ Depende nga ata per church. Sa'min kase after namin nag submit ng requirements (baptism cert, confirmation cert, etc) tinanong na kame kelan kame papa-sched ng pre-cana & canonical interview (nagbigay sila ng free sched); wala pa kameng payment niyan. Then exchange kame ng docs, pagka-submit namen inabot naman yung wedding banns, simultaneous nangyayari.

Anyway, is there anyone here who had their canonical sa Our lady of lourdes sa Tagaytay? How was it mga sis? Malapit na kami and I don't know if we need to prepare din like memorize ng mga prayers something like that hehe

any ideas kung paano mag-interview ang mga ikakasal sa St. Pancratius sa Paco?

We already completed our Canonical Interview at St. Peregrine Laziosi, Muntinlupa City.

Super kabado ako at first, pero parang tig-5 minutes lang kami kinausap ni H2B separately. May series of YES/NO questions lang. Father just asked if gaano na kami katagal and kung ano'ng trabaho namin. Tapos hindi na daw nya papatagalin kasi 8 years naman na kami ni H2B and we're 27-28 years old na din. Sabi nya, kapag daw mga 18-21 yan yung talagang matagal na usapan especially if pregnant na si girl. Minsan daw pinapabalik nya pa for another round.

Anyway, I like Father Fred and with that, we requested him that same day to marry us on December

Tapos na rin kami interview ng Obispo ng Archbishop palace. Nag answer muna kami ng questionaire/forms then sabay kami at mabilis lang walang 5mins dahil nakapag pa civil na kami 3 years ago. Kasama pa namin ang daughter namin that time. Mabait din si Bishop.

Tinatanong din ba ng priest kung nag li-live in na kayo? Kami kasi ni h2b live in na dito sa abroad. Would that be something na need namin sabihin sa pari in case na tanungin kami?

^depende daw sa pari kasi meron mga sobrang conservative to the point na magtatanong daw kung nag pre-marital sex na kayo

Just be honest na lang sabay mention na gusto niyo ng blessing ni God kaya magpapakasal

^Nakakakaba naman pala. 10 years na kami ni h2b and 3 yrs na din kami live in. May possibility ba na bumagsak sa interview (silly question) pag nalaman about sa pre marital sex?

By the time na magpakasal kami 12 years na kaming mag couple and we will be 31 years old na din.

Maybe you can do a "background check" dun sa pari? Kung ano yung personality niya para ready kayo. Though wala pa naman ako narinig na bumagsak sa interview.

Yung importante lang na alam ko ay kung ready ba talaga kayo magpakasal (pasado na kayo dito with flying colors haha) at walang pinilit sa inyo
