GT from Peyups! How's life after UP?

I'm going to teach in UP and i'm so psyched. i was still doing my masters when they offered me the post and now that i'm back in manila, formal application process na.
pero kinakabahan pa rin ako. any tips regarding my application, mga sis? i was advised to prepare a teaching demo and i have a vague idea pa lang on how to go about it.

sis ayami, maciado mo dinedenigrate sarili mo hehe...  alalahanin ang tinuro ng UP, education is not in the grades hehe.

^ e sis, yung mga kabatch ko na katulad ko ring puro singko at same course pero graduated na last year... jobless pa rin. actively looking yan ah.

tsaka yung mga achievers na Student Council sa college namin wala pa ring work. Call centers bagsak kesyo di pa nila keribells ang dream job nila. haha

may kilala ako na tatawa tawa lang sa lobby, kokopya kopya at payosi yosi lang nung college pero millionaryo na ngayon [this person earns millions every week, collegemate natin! at hindi ito from a rich family ha? as in self-made wealth ito].  may kilala din ako na UP flunker, pero nagpilit makapasok sa UP, nung makagraduate, naging doctor sa singapore, surgeon pa yun ha? [though, di natin collegemate hehe]. 

meron naman na cum laude, pero glorified clerk na flat broke ngayon, at di makagraduate sa master's [collegemate din natin ito]! another cum laude na may BA and MA sa college natin, pero hindi makatagal sa kahit anong work na pasukin niya, at unemployed pa rin ngayon since nagresign cia sa previous job niya about 1.5 years ago.

ewan ko nga ba kung anong formula sa buhay. di ko magets eh. find x. hehe. 

kaya tama na ang paglalatigo sa sarili hehe. subukan mo na ang luck+tiyaga mo malay mo! hehe

oo nga sabi ko nga dati, nung na kick out ako sa Engg, what if wag na ko tumuloy mag aral baka maging ala Bill Gates ako? haha!

re: jogging- sure! kelan ka pwede? ako araw araw nandun pero tanghali naman. except fridays medyo hapon yung free time ko

@sis geekybride: interior design itteach ko, sis. most likely history of asian and philippine interiors ska history of western design, kasi ma-history yung background ng masters ko. haha. sama ako if magjjog kayo one time. =)

sis denxa_1, wow exciting naman nung subject mo... kumukuha ka din ba ng interior design projects?
sige jogging tayo sises denxa_1 and ayami! naku kaya lang weekends lang ako pwede... sige PM PM na lang tayo, kung kelan tayo pwede, kung kelan tayo makahalughog ng free time.  kung gusto ninyo naman, kung walang time for jogging, kahit sisig tripping lang sa mang jimmy's! hihi

sis geekybride, yup, freelance interior designer din ako, so in case you need ID help, i'm just here tee hee!. next year na siguro kami magfformal na firm pag settled na lahat ng requirements. yes, i go for food trip din.

hahaha. go lang sis geekybride, i'm currently building my personal portfolio (puro kasi ako office projects and only two freelance prior to my masters), so yes, very negotiable yung rates ko

hehe bakit di ko alam ang Mang Jimmy's? shocks. limited pa pala ang alam kong food trip areas sa Diliman. Rodics-Beach house-Fishball area sa ASKAL lang ang routine namin.

Life after UP was interesting. I went to other (art) schools and took up different courses.

My career WAS okay for a while, but I stopped working recently because I clearly am in the wrong place (country). Also, my husband asked me to stay at home for a while because we'll be trying for a baby soon.

Hello. Kumusta na kayo? Last few weeks ko na sa Diliman (hopefully). Di pa nilalabas yung list of deficiencies. Kinakabahan ako kasi andami kong outstanding kwarto na sana ginawa nang singko kasi ni-retake ko naman na lahat. Sept. 28 na deadline ambagal ng college admin staff namin.

I finally "graduated" last October lang (finished school technically kasi di pa tapos ang meeting ng BOR for October grads). UPD student mula 2006-2012. Palagi lang ako sa TV nanonood ng Cheerdance except once nung Cheerleading ang PE ko.
