Hi mga sis,!

I want to share my experiences sa boils. And hoping for a good solution. Since Nov 2010, nagkaroon ako ng pigsa sa may left armpit mga sis, nagtake ako ng Cloxacillin and last for 1 week, and then the following month, sa right naman. Monthly talaga siya nagkakaroon, and napansin ko every after, before and during ng period ako nagkakaroon. Now, sa butt ko naman along panty line.

I have one son already and he's 2 yrs. old, his birthdate is Jan 2009, I'm worried kasi baka cause ito ng panganganak or sa menstruation period ko. I need your help mga sis kung ano best solution.

^oo nga sis mas mahirap na pag ganun lalo na pag nasa area around the nose. kasi before nagkapimple ako sa loob ng nose although hindi naman naging pigsa (thank God) pero parang naging cellulitis na daw sabi ng dr kasi namaga yung half ng face ko. huhuhu. 2 antibiotics ininom ko and vitamins kasi due daw yun sa poor immunity. thank God naman after antibiotics gumaling na.

sis, i have boil on my leg, yesterday nag-leak na yung nana..then i put hydrogen peroxide on it to clean and amoxicillin (i open the capsule and spread it), then this morning, I washed it with soap and water tapus, I apply hydrogen peroxide, then I notice parang open wound nalang siya, and put amoxicillin again, well, I still drink mefenamic and amoxicillin too, hindi na masakit, kaya lang I'm worrying bakit pati paa ko namamaga na din ngaun, pero not so big naman, khapon, yung bukung bukung ko namaga tapos ngaun paa na, tapus kapag na press ko ang area around the pigsa, parang nagbabakat [textspeak!] kamay ko...I need help ok lang ba yun? Naexperience pu ba ninyo ito? But I dont have fever naman..help po!!

lhanny- first of all, amoxicillin capsules are meant to be taken in by mouth and absorbed inside our body. It was never intended to be poured in infected wound. Pls do not follow this practice. It is really not wise to self medicate . By your description, you might have cellulitis . Pls have yourself checked.

share ko lang yung case ng maid namin.. she had a boil last week of January sa tummy area nya.. she took antibiotics that was sold over the counter.. gumaling naman.. after 2 weeks, another boil popped out sa may braso nya.. we sent her sa general physician and she was given an antibiotic to be taken for 1wk, and pang linis ng wound, and we had her check kung positive sya sa diabetes which turned out negative.. the 2nd boil healed as well as the 3rd boil which was about to start to grow.. after 1.5wks, another boil came out sa thighs naman nya.. this time we sent her to a private dermatologist for a 2nd opinion test of diabetes and had the wound swabbed and sent to their lab.. she was given another set of antibiotics and cream din to clean the wound.. this was 2nd week of March.. sabi sa lab test, nothing serious ang bacteria na yun and can be cured by the antibiotic..

so far, since 2nd week of March til present, wala naman na ulit boil.. which reminds me to ask her again later at baka tinatago lang nya sakin kasi napagalitan ko sya kasi baka kako hindi sya hygienic.. she takes a bath twice a day naman ever since pero ang hilig kasi ng walang tsinelas sa bahay..

thanks si docshe...had my check up last saturday, she gave me mefenamic, cefalexin and bactroban ointment,,,ilang weeks kaya normally gumagaling ang boils, i mean natutuyo..

^ang dami naman ng ni-reseta sau sis lhanny_07. i had mine checked nung monday and was only given Cloxacillin for 7 days 3x a day. i have one on my face and hay naku talaga, im so worried sa magiging scar. it started out as a red mark then nagka-puss then namaga [textspeak!] mark.

it still has puss in it kaya lang i'm hesitant to remove it kasi baka lalo lang siyang mamaga. mawawala ba ng kusa yung puss o kailangan ko talagang tanggalin?

sis electric pink, kaya nga medyo magastos din..cefalexin antibiotics, mefenamic para daw sa pamamaga at pain, tapus bactroban ointment once a day, hindi pa generics nireseta sakin..

mine, just a week lang, kasi hindi ko siya tinanggal, kusa siyang lumabas at pumutok after 3-4 days ata. Uso ba talaga ito ngayon..

sis sundin mo lang yung reseta sayo, kusa gagaling yan with the help of antibiotics. kasi sakin before ganun din, at super namaga paa ko. pero gumaling naman, yun nga lang super pangit na peklat ang iniwan.

Hi po. Nagka pigsa po ako dati sa may hita ko pero nawala kasi nilagyan ng yaya ko ng dahon ng alugbati. Pero nagkaroon ulit ako sa may *toot* part pero di talaga doon.. sa may taas lang po banda  tapos nilagyan ko ulit nung dahon. Nawala po ulit, after mga 5 days siguro, napansin ko parang sumasakit ulit sa part na un dun sa taas ng *toot* kung saan [textspeak!] pang2nd ko na pigsa. After 3 days nag karoon po ng 3 na parang maliliit na white na tumubo dun sa part na masakit at parang may bukol sa loob na masakit na mainit init na medyo makati minsan. Help po (((( I really really need an advice. Besides po sa pa doctor what else po ba ang effective, fast, safe and least ang pain?? Takot po kasi ako magpadoctor  Please po heeeeeeeelp, di ako makatulog eh masakit naiipit sa undies ko  takot rin ako sabihin kay mama kasi baka ipadoctor ako... HEEEELPPPP................

Red one- it's not advisable to give prescription medication like antibiotics here in this thread without the benefit of a physical examination by a doctor. We don't advise self medications. Electric pink I think your medication is underdosed.
