I stayed at Empire Hotel Causeway Bay. Nasa Tin Hau siya talaga pero part din yata ng Causeway Bay or boundary na, not sure. Only a 3 minute walk to the Tin Hau MTR and one stop away from Causeway Bay MTR. It is also the first stop ng free shuttle bus from the Airport Express train. Taxi to Macau Ferry Terminal between 45 to 55 HKD with 4 bags at the back nakalimutan ko na sorry exact price kaya estimate na lang binigay ko.

It was convenient for a first timer like me who only needed a place to sleep and have a shower. Small rooms, my cousin and I had the twin beds, nabubuksan pa naman namin maleta namin sa sahig. Madami restaurants sa paligid, convenience stores, food shops, etc. Hindi bagong buildings ang nasa paligid pero malinis naman. Ang bagal nga lang ng check in pero mabait naman staff. Don't expect them to carry your luggages. Sa website sabi 4 star kaya nga kinuha ko pero parang 3 star in comparison sa hotels sa Singapore and Japan. Anyway nasiyahan naman ako mahal kasi hotels sa HK.

hello po mga sis, ask ko lang kung may mga hotel ba sa TST o near Central na pwede makapag sneak-in 3adult & 1kid lang kame.. kaya lang sana yung pang 2person room lang avail namin para mas makatipid kame.. I read na sa Macau sa mga big hotels like Venetian, eh nakakapag sneak in sila ng tao.. any advice.. TIA

Most hotels naman pwede mag sneak in. Pili ka lang ng hotels na malalaki yung lobby and syempre yung beds. Pag small hotels kasi sa HK like Benito and Shamrock na napagstay-an namin, bed tapos may space lang for luggage yung room. Kaya di rin pwede maraming tao

I just came from Hong Kong just last month. I would recommend the hotel we stayed at. It is the Royal Plaza Hotel. It is a 5 star hotel but at a reasonable price. If you are going to compare it to other hotels in causeway bay which ranges from 250 - 500 hkd. The room we got was only at 130-150 hkd. Then the rooms are very modern and has very nice interiors and the bathroom very nice. I would definitely stay in this hotel again on my next visit to HK. Btw the rooms here are bigger compared to other hotels in hk epecially in causeway bay.

I would also love to try to stay at the Venetian Macau. I think all their rooms are suites and they are very nice in the pictures. Ill keep you guys posted if I already stayed in

tipid mode kame sa accommodation kasi most of the time nasa kalye kame.. bed and bath lang talaga ang purpose namin.. kino consider ko na rin yung mga hostels sa tsim sha tsui kaya lang creepy daw yung mga dadaanan paakyat..

saan ba ang location ng royal plaza at madali ba mag commute from there? TIA

kung hindi naman kayo maselan sa small rooms as in small rooms. I will recommend Cosmic Guesthouse.. as in room and CR with airconditioning naman. maganda naman ang experience namin. very near Tsim Sha Tsui station. Mirador Mansion which is madaling makita..

may nakikita akong bad reviews online but nung kami naman.. ok na samin.. of course sa mga ganitong guest house is lower you expectation. they are selling also discounted DL and oceanpark tickets. samin kasi we value the money and we are out the whole day as in mga 10 -11pm na nga kami nakakauwi eh.. as in tulugan lang naman namin

^ actually, I'm considering Sydney Hostel in TST near Mirador Mansion din sya.. Fair review and very affordable ang Family room nila.. Ang worries ko lang is their child policy, 0-7 is not allowed to stay and my daughter will turn 7 this july pa.. we'll be in HK on Nov30 - dec3.

Any advise if these kind of hostels are strict with their child policy, I plan to lie about my daughter's age upon check-in because she's taller than her 8-year old friends (she's already 4ft+).. I'm just worried that they might check for her passport to verify her age.. $:-\$

^ yun kasi kasi ang nakalagay sa child policy nila sa agoda.. nov30-dec3 pa naman ang byahe namin, 3adults & 1 kid.. wala din kasing review na family with younger kids at wala din ako mabasa na blog regarding the hostel.. kaya naka depend lang talaga ko sa info ng agoda

sis I checked the Sydney hostel (ito ba yung sa may chungking mansion?) and it says that Children 0-7 year(s) Stay for free if using existing bedding. so why worry? If sa chungking ka rin lang sis mag stay gusto mo ba ibigay ko sayo yung pinag stayan ng friend ko sa mirador mansion last march? Kasabay ko siya kaso hindi ako dun nag book ng hotel namin marami kasi kami

ok naman daw basta expect na pag hostel sa HK halos pare-pareho lang ang laki... anyway tutulugan lang naman basta malinis...

^^ sis, oo yun nga, nakalagay sa useful infos at room details na 0-7 not allowed to stay..
anyway, I'll check again.. baka may masa suggest kayo na other option.. ang pinaka importante samin ay iaallow kame mag early check or pwede mag iwan ng luggage before check in.. kasi mag tu-tour na kagad kame pagdating namin.. TIA

^^^ sis sofiemae, I think kaka update lang nila ng details kasi last week chineck ko hindi ganun ang details at parang nagbaba pa ng konti ang price ng family room nila, last week it was 2090/night, now its 2008/night na lang.. kaya lang yung check in time nila binago na din nila before it was 11am now its 1pm, but its ok kasi may luggage storage naman sila..

if you could suggest other hostel in mirador mansion and of the same price range i will consider.. kasi super tight budget ang mga kasama ko.. everything will be charge in my credit card first, hinuhulugan lang nila ko every payday.. so nag aadjust din ako for them..

now, i am torned between lily garden guest house and sydney hostel

help, any suggestions please..
if i will go with lily garden, the triple room (double & single bed) is only 9sqm, no in room safe & hair dryer but its in mirador mansion at 2123/nght.. hot shower is working as per review
while sydney hostel, the family room (2 double bed) is 15sqm, with in room safety deposit box and hair dryer but its in chungking mansion at 2009/night.. no review about the hot shower

Stayed at Royal Plaza Hotel last week too. Very nice, and katabi nya lang yung Moko mall. Sarap pa ng bed and pillows.
