^Thats our home base hindi naman scary sis. Ages 9 and 3 yung akin. Basta laging kong hawak si bunso and nakaya niya kasing makipagsabayan sa amin sa paglalakad.

We're planning to go next year sa Hongkong kasi debut ng sis ko, debut ko din tapos 25th anniversary ng parents ko. 3 or 4 days kami doon if ever.

Mas makakamura ba kami if magtratravel agency o sariling punta na lang doon?

If may recommendations kayo para makamura kami, i'd appreciate that. Thanks

It's not difficult to travel hk even for first timers. Ginagawa namin we check the tourism sites of the countries we want to visit. 4 kami in Lanson place, very specious sha unlike traditional hotels. May lutuan so you can bring noodles, may malapit din na convenient store. Makakatipid kyo if you make your own breakfast and just ear outside for lunch/ dinner

I suggest mag DIY nalang kayo. Mas makakatipid kayo at hawak nyo pa yung time nyo if you want to stay longer. For first time tourist, madali lang naman mag navigate sa mga tourist areas sa HK. Isa din na malapit lang na tourist place, shopping mall at accessible sa MRT eh yung Tsim Sha Tsui or TST. Isa pa you can avail free tourist information maps sa airport just like in SG.

Ang nakita ko na ok na hotel around TST eh Langham Hotel (quite pricey nga lang) and yung YMCA hotel (especially kung member ka). Pero kung tipid at budget mode, marami naman budget hotels across TST. I would recommend Hop Inn hotel, maliit lang sya pero cozy yung place and Hankow Hotel (which you can haggle your stay). Kung plan nyo kasi mag all day tour at tulog lang sa hotel, sa mga budget hotels lang ok na. Malaking tipid din yung budget hotels. Malalapit lang pati yan sa mga commercial centers at sa mga tourist areas like yung HK Art and History Museum, HK park, yung area facing Victoria Harbour and Symphony of Lights.

Sis along nathan road din yung imperial nakita kosa youtube katabi nya chungkingmansion. Pero di ko alam san banda dun yung gc.

For group accomodation, I suggest Air BNB. We booked a 2 bedroom apt for Nov 3-8. We're a group of 5 adt and 2 kids. I think lumalabas na cheaper as compared to staying in a hostel or hotel.

Thanks mga sis sa suggestions, just got back last night from HK. We were there from Nov.11 to 14. Sa Hotel Benito kami nag stay then on 3rd night lumipat kami sa Disney Hollywood Hotel. Sulit sa Benito and sa Disney, ang saya ng trip namin ni hubby, kasama mom nya & mom ko plu 2 sisters nya. Thanks for all your contributions sa thread na to, it was very informative and helpful!

How much po ang budget namin kaya if pupunta kami next year ng March,,,2 kids and 2 adults kahit 3 days and 2 nights lang,,maexperience lang ng mga bata pumunta sa Disneyland,,pls,,help me on this po,,if ok lang po gawa na rin kayo itenary sa amin,,hah,,,ha,, if ok lang sa inyo to give info :-)

i strongly recommend Prudential Hotel in Jordan.. dun kami lagi nagsastay. It's a hotel but the rates are not as steep as the usual HK hotels. the rooms are bigger too.

but really, the best part is the location. the hotel sits right on top of the Jordan MTR station and the Prudential Centre Mall. Maraming Sasa and Giordano sa paligid. and malapit sa Australian Dairy Co and MAk Noodles.. hehe.

plus, they always let us leave the baggage in the secured storage room for no charge pag magmamacau kami

Evergreen Hotel ang madalas namin pagstay-an specially kung group dahil may rooms sila na 3 ang beds. May kasama na din buffet breakfast so bawas gastos na rin if ever dahil may kamahalan ang food sa labas. Walking distance lang din sya sa train station.

yung mga hotels in tsim tsa tsui (spell check?) okay na din sha. we didnt stay in a fancy hotel kasi  buong araw naman mawawala tas ang uwi is gabi na so ayun. okay prices nya tapos malapit sa mtr and nagkalat ang shops

mga sissy we are going to hk this april 6 -10 7 kme kids ages are 14 13 8 and 4 plus 3 adults me my hubby and yaya saan po kaya may murang hotel or hostel sobra tight [textspeak!] ang budget ko at di pwedeng walang disneyland [textspeak!] yun ang pinunta nmin dun if you guys can help me also create an itinerary ..please please please and is it true na ang beach dun ay free para nman khit one day nmin eh konti lang gastos

^Since 7pax kayo sis, I suggest you to rent a unit (transient) na 1bedroom or 2 bedrooms via airbnb. Mas makakamura kayo compared sa hotel. What time's your arrival and departure in HK?
