Tips and suggestions on where to stay in Hongkong

^^3 lang kami sa room sis. Hubby, I and 3 yr old daughter. But they not strict sis. They don't check naman kung ilan kayo sa room.

how much per night ang disneyland hotel or hollywood hotel? would like to book on these hotels sana? and enough na ba ang one day admission for disneyland?

We stayed in Hollywood Hotel 1st week of March and we got it for 7K+ (garden view), added HKD 200 to upgrade us in seaview room.  Mura kasi I booked it 45 days earlier.

pa join ako mga sis  i'm eyeing Holiday Inn Express for 2 nights tapos yung 3rd night namin sa Disneyland Hotel na para masaya yung daughter namin at yun pinaka maalala niya sa trip. mas ok ba yun o mauna dapat yung Disney? nung pumunta kasi kami ng husband ko before hindi kami nag Disney as hindi siya mahilig sa mga ganoon. but since kasama na yung daughter namin this time pupunta na kami.

^Kami sis inuna muna namin ang Disney before kami nag ikot sa city and shopping kasi inisip ko nun na baka pag nauna si shopping, wala na kaming energy mag Disney. Medyo nakakapagod kasi si Disney specially with kids. At least after ng Disney, medyo na-gauge niyo na energy ninyo kung saan kayo mag iikot for shopping

Hi mga sis. Torn ako if we should stay in Prince Marco Polo or Royal Pacific or Holiday Inn Golden Mile.. what would u choose sa tatlo na mas okay?
I'll be with my daughter and husband in Hk so I'm checking out good value hotels na comfortable.

If ur staying in these hotels, mas okay ba na iavail yung with breakfast na?

^sis, ok yang 3 hotel choices mo. I have stayed at royal pacific hotel and marco polo gateway hotel. Yung royal pacific dulo na yan ng canton road. Ok naman siya but the rooms are kinda small. Yung marco polo prince ok yan sister company ng marco polo gateway. Nasa canton road din siya and it's a 6 minute walk away from the mtr but it's attached to harbour city mall so ok for shopping. Yung holiday inn golden mile nice din sabi ng friend ko. It's in nathan road naman and few steps away from the mtr station. Ok din location kasi maraming shops and restos around the area.

salamat sis @princess lorraine.  btw, worth it ba i-avail yung breakfast sa hotel? inisip ko kasi para hindi hassle. pagkagising baba lang kami and ready na.

^you can avail the breakfast if you want sis. But if i were you, just have brunch outside the hotel. There are a lot of good restos to try in tsim sha tsui. Besides, kinda pricey din breakfast sa hotel. Might as well eat out nalang so that you'll get to experience more food trips in hk.

i'm staying in butterfly on prat for my solo trip this month. is it true na walang view sa rooms? also, any recommended restaurants for brunch near the hotel that i could try?

mga sis, mas pinili ko ang Prince Marco Polo over Holiday Inn Golden Mile. Medyo kinakabahan ako. Sana tama ang choice ko. Halos same price din kasi.

We stayed there last year, ang view ng room namin is a street and Guandong Hotel. Not bad though, for the price. I can't remember any restaurant sa street niya mismo (except Mcdo...) but merong hole in the wall resto malapit sa hotel - just a few steps away from the hotel front door - masarap yung food nila buuut I can't vouch for the cleanliness hehe May restaurant din sa baba ng hotel - Japanese or Italian ata.

curlytops, kami din we usually have breakfast outside. Kasi sometimes nafo-force kami magmadali gumising para maabutan ang breakfast. And since we stayed at Marco Polo HK, hindi mahirap maghanap ng kakainan.

will be staying in Golden Crown on November...buti na lang maganda naman reviews dito ng Golden Crown. my friend suggest it din kasi

Langham Place Hotel Mongkok is superb! The rooms are spacious, the hotel is modern, views are amazing, the service is excellent, it's connected to a shopping mall and the place is also very convenient! The Mongkok MRT station is right across the hotel. The price is also reasonable because we booked a quad room. I would have been more expensive if we went to a "cheaper" hotel and rented 2 double rooms. I can share photos of our room in Langham Place in case anyone is interested. Next time I go to HK I want to try the Upper House. I'll book very very very early so I can avail of early bird rate.

sis, ano travel date mo ng november? nag-try ako magpa-book sa golden crown kaso ang sabi fully book na daw sila sa travel date namin which is november 5 - 9. e isang quadroom lang naman ang kailangan ko. in-email ko pa talaga si kenny ba yun? kasi dati ang aga ako mag-inquire tapos ang sabi dapat 3 months before. pero nung june, nagtry ulet ako baka pwede na. biglang sabi sa reply nila fully book na. kaya nag-email ako directly don sa owner o in-charge. sabi ko, sabi niyo 3 months before ang booking e bakit ngayon biglang fully book na? sabi niya, kasi may large group daw na darating. siguro yung mga suki nila e priority na rin. first time ko sa kanila sana. kasi previously sa taisan burlington ako nag-stay with my family. e ngayon sa taisan harilela na lang ako nagpa-reserve.

Imperial Hotel is a 3 star hotel as per agoda. I booked a single room and ang liit nga. Just nice for 1 person. Sira ang phone nila kaya hindi ako madinig ng tinatawagan ko. I was trying to call someone who has a local celphone kasi. The receptionist when I arrived ng mga 12 midnight was an old lady. Maybe early 50's. Masungit. Hindi siya approachable. But the bell boy who assisted unloading my luggage was mabait. Also the bell boy who loaded my luggage sa taxi was mabait. Masikip ang lift. But this hotel sits just across TST MTR and just downstairs maraming kainan and shopping. Drawback din kasi katabi ng Irish Pub kaya may ilan Indians around.

BP International nag stay din ako for 1 night. It was expensive. 20k pesos per night. The view of the room was fantabulous! I can see the light show from the room. Meron sala ang room and it was a separate room from the bedroom. The bathroom and the room itself was super clean. Very comfy sheets and pillows. Wala nga lang sila room service for food. Pero just across meron Cafe de Coral and walking distance to Jordan MTR station. Parallel to this street (Austin) ay Nathan Road kaya hindi naging problem din ang shopping sa akin.

This November I'm thinking of booking a hotel around Mongkok area. Last year we stayed at Marco Polo HK and so far among the 3, I'd say Marco Polo HK was the best.

hi all, just want to ask baka may maka-help sakin.. sino na dito nakapag-try na mag-stay sa Regal Riverside Hotel?? pls give me naman some feedback.. i saw it sa agoda sa pagsesearch ko kasi ng mga hotels eto na yun nakita ko sa picture na pinaka OK na mukang malaki yun rooms..and yun price nya d naman ganun kamahal... just wondering bakit ganun lang kamura baka mahirap naman at malayo sa mga attraction.. saka baka mahigpit sila 3 adult and 3 kids kami lahat kaya hanap ako ng room na d mahigpit at malaki yun space... thanks in advance sa reply
