Toy Story Party Theme

Mommies I need your help please!  I want a toy story theme party for my son's 1st birthday.  I'm not very creative kasi eh, so I would like to get some ideas from you, if you don't mind sharing   And any ideas kung pano ko i-incorporate ang Christmas sa theme nya, Dec. 25 kasi ang birthday nya eh.  Thanks in advance.  Any ideas will be highly appreciated.

wow! super easy dear kasi xmas is all about toys and kids!...  if this would be my party.... again, if this is would be MY party.. it's your call pa rin siyempre kung gusto mo yung idea ko...

Aside from your chosen theme, gusto kong lagyan ng touch of charity kaya sa Damas de Filipinas ko siguro gaganapin.  Then i will ask our guests to bring gifts na hindi para sa baby ko, kung hindi para sa mga batang nasa Damas.  It's their call if they want old ones or new ones...

Within the program, gusto kong i-incorporate yung how to take care of toys, how to make a new toys out of the old ones and how to share ones blessings to others or how one can be a blessing to others just by taking care of their own toys and thinking of those who will possibly have them pag di na nila gusto yung toy.

@bluekaren: i love, love your idea sis! i promise to do this when my son is a little older as I'd like him to understand those things and para mas matandaan na nya and he can play with the kids na talaga.  but since i plan to bring his old clothes and toys paguwi namin ng manila to donate, i'll still ask our guests to bring toys on his bday, we'll cuztomised an empty box na lang wherein they can drop the toys (and old baby clothes na rin, i'm sure madami sila).  meron bang infants sa Damas de Filipinas?   

@mom.of.ichikoy: wow mommy! mukang all set ka na kaka-excite naman!  would you mind sharing your budget? pa-pm na lang if you don't mind   i was thinking nga of buying him a costume here in abu dhabi instead of magpatahi pa.. when i saw woody and buzzlightyear costumes here, na-excite ako! haha not sure lang kung may kasama ng boots, i'll check na lang

hi mommy bhey0624:i would be having toy story 3 theme for my baby's 1st birthday next month, i would organize everything from the venue, cater, program, and other stuff.. kaya ang hirap sis..

so here goes.. i would have a party host for the games and stuff, nakahanap na rin ako ng buzz lightyear mascot, and toy story and friends puppet show,  kasi i think mas appropriate yun for ages 1-5 y/o na kids ko, then, the cater and balloon decor would be from us, the perfect color daw for toy story would be light blue, lime green, orange, and red, sakto for your christmas event.. so we have buzz and woody costume na for my baby para he can have costume change during the party.. then ngpa customize na rin ako ng cake.. you could have ideas of the designs sa net.. then since 3d and movie this year bulimi na rin kami ng 3d stuff for kids, like paper plates, cups, table cloth.. arte noh.. for the game prices.. naku sis eto mahirap hanapin.. buti nalang my toy kingdom and dun ako nakabili.. limited nga lang..kasi sa divi very limited din ang toy story theme.. super dami ang dora, spongebob, and cars.. so don ako nahirapan for my lootbags and giveaway toys.. stage backdrop.. whew, hirap din mghanap ng styro backdrop na maganda.. so magpapagawa ka pero super mahal.. like 10k for 8x12ft kaya tarpaulin nalang kami then bawi nalang for the balloon design.. so yan basically ang idea namin for the birthday i hope everything goes well.. arte namin.. well Goodluck for you mommy.. tagal pa naman so makakaready ka pa..

after watching toy story 3 gusto ko rin yung ganitong theme sa first birthday ng baby ko. kaso ayaw ng dad niya baby girl kasi, ang cute lang ng toy story theme, super cool lalo na for baby boys

My son will be having this theme on his birthday. Pero di ko na kinareer since wala talagang plan magbirthday ng bongga ngaun. Sa active fun gaganapin ang birthday niya.

I just asked my husband to buy his a woody costume. sooo cute talaga, hindi ko na pinabilhan ng buzz, kase more on play sa active fun. Yung mga party favors sa states na din ako nagpabili kasi nga I heard walang gaanong party favors sa divilandia.

I was inspired by this thread to incorporate toy story theme to my baby boy’s christening this coming Staurday, July 31.  Love ko kasi ang movie na ito.  Ito ang sequel na mas maganda pa sa original theme. 

Anyways, I tried to taper off some of the details as Christening pa lang pero na-inspire and na-excite ako sa mga mommies dito.  I can’t wait for his 1st birthday celebration.  =) Here goes:

Baby’s clothes – Cowboy designed Lime green/Light Blue Romper with matching bib & booties   

Venue Décor – Lime Green/Light Blue/White Hanging Balloons, Pillar Balloons, Buzz Lightyear Standee, Toy Story Streamer

Loot Bags – (Pinaghirapan ko talagang hanapin sila sa Divilandia) coinbank, puzzle, memo pad, face towel (all at kyla marie, 2nd floor divimall) & yoyo (basement divimall)

Souvenirs – personalized chocolates with toy story design & my baby’s pic

Table Décor – Lime Green & Light Blue table cloths c/o Caterer, flower centerpiece with 4 Toy Story figurines toppers.  I bought 4 pc. set at Andings  with Buzz, Jessie, Woody & Woody’s horse.  Just to add to the Toy Story theme on the table.

Sponsors’ Favors – Toy Story DVD sana pero over budget (P750 each).  We opted for native pasalubongs from my husband’s
hometown.

Plus I will play Toy Story Favorites CD during the “eat & run” reception

Sarap pa lang mag-organize ng kiddie parties!  Can’t wait for next year!

^ you may try toy kingdom for the costume.. for the toys and other toy story goodies - divisoria, sm, toy kingdom and other toy stores.. i asked someone to check sa divi kung maraming toy story items, will let u know kung marami

naku sorry ha, not sure kung helpful ako.. suggestions rin lang sakin yan ng mga GT moms.. out of the country kasi kami..
