changing of email add and profile name

I badly need to change my email address but retain my account here. How can I do that, possible ba? please help............

sorry ha makikigulo ako, baka naman pwedeng palitan even just my rpofile name nalang kc nanghingi ako ng mga advices pag diko na kaya ang mga problems ko wala kasi akong kapatid na mahihingan ng advices kaya dito ang takbo ko, kahit na profile name ko lang kc initials ko yan at kilala ng husband ko, sana mapagbigyan ako, ilang araw na rin akong naghahanap ng solution pabalik balik lang ang ngyayari sakin diko talaga mapalitan. please, please, please.....

sorry ha, just wanted to revisit this thread because i haven't heard anything from anyone regarding my request to change my username.

as i've mentioned in my earlier post, i am requesting this because i can be easily be identified with this nick.  at the time i signed up for gtalk, i didn't realize that the sharings will be intimate and personal in nature.  i just want to have it changed to a more neutral name so that i can share more freely, and make the gtalk experience more engaging.

Admin can i request for a change in my profile name? My profile name & email add is the same...i wasn't able to think about it when i registered here...i don't want to reg again as a newbie because i only maintain one email...please, please grant my request to change my profile name...

Changing email ID is very easy. You can do it from the forum settings. But changing username is not permitted generally. It's a permanent thing.

I badly need to change my email add too. I have been searching ways on how to do that for the past 3 days and even emailed a senior member. I tried sending an email to moderators too but wala pa reply. 
I need to change the email address I registered because that was for work purposes only. Sana naman po pwede kasi its possible na ma identify tayo from the email account we used especially if it contains our name.

hi sisters!  I had to register again to hide my identity. Sayang nga lang ang no. of posts mo but I guess this is the best thing to do if you really need to change you email address.

Hmm... I think im turning blind. I've been looking for a way to change my email addy that i used to register here but cant seem to find how to do it. Am i missing something or it just doesnt exist???

to answer your question, i found the reply from our respective moderator. 

The email addresses are hidden by default for security purposes. The reason why you can see your email address is because you are logged in and you are the owner of the account. If you are not logged in, or if other users look at your profile, they would not be able to see your email.

We only change usernames and email addresses on a case to case basis because it entails going through several processes for your protection.

So cant we change our email addy by ourselves ? Why cant this option be on the "modify profile" function  instead of "bothering" the admin/mods with this simple matter?

May moderators ba talaga? Halos lahat kasi ng threads dito over 2 months na since the last poster, is it enough that we assume na may nagbabasa nito na Mods and that all the concerns are "noted down" already? Dapat naman siguro may nagrereply din sa mga posters, para hindi naman tayo suggest ng suggest tapos parang wala naman pumapansin.

Especially yung sa subscribing/joining posts na yan, kung merong threads na ipprune because of OT topics, anlaking space ang mawawala because of those OT subscription messages.

Parehas lang yan ng tanong ko. Mas mabuti siguro kung i allow nila tayo na palitan yung mga email add natin dito kasya naman mag register ng bago.

Kanina ko lang nakita na lumalabas pala yung email address mo kapag magsend ka ng message. Hahaha, kakaloka lang.

bakit yung iba walang email add pag ni-click yung profile? minsan kasi may nagsesend ng email add sa akin eh diko naman kilala. paano kaya alisin o i-hide yung email add?

I agree that the change of e-mail address option is a must just in case we don't have access to the registered e-mail anymore

ako din i want to change my username.
this was this person na walang magawa sa buhay nya at bitter bitteran. she knows my username kaya pinagbabasa ang mga posts ko. worse is, baka she is sharing it pa with other people. it's not nahihiya ako but its privacy eh..
