had my hair cut supashort @ their branch in SM north edsa.

the one who did my hair was Luna, i guess akala nya magpapa digiperm ako but nooooo i only wanted to chop my lengthy locks off.

what she did to my hair was really nice. it looks exactly like this: http://img2.ak.crunchyroll.com/i/spire4/05152008/d/9/3/7/d937bbfddade30_full.png
:P ive been getting compliments since lumabas ako sa T & J that night :)

siguro maganda service nila sa mga masasayang tao (it was a saturday so sobrang bibong bibo ako that night, i was all smiles. even the woman and man at the front desk were talking nice, (they even grabbed my vintage camera necklace locket as it was too quirky not to notice, medyo inappropriate for some but for me OK lang.) even the pinay assistants were nice to me, talking to me, even collecting the bunch of hair from the floor to keep as a souvenir :P mahaba kasi yung naputol). people are going to be nice to you if nice ka din.

understand nalang na napapagod din yung mga korean stylists, like nung time na nagpagupit ako, Luna was complaining (in korean, i can understand a little) kasi masakit na braso and feet nya (from wearing high heels, kelangan kasi maganda porma, haha)... she even said "at long last!" in korean after cutting my hair. they may seem masungit but really, it's because of their culture. yung expressions nila, some gestures nila, some of it are really not meant to be masungit, nagmumuka lang masungit in Filipino context and of course because they cant express themselves well enough dahil hindi naman sila english/tagalog speakers.

ayun lang. hihi.

Just got home from TnJ.

oonga pala if ever may nabili akong medicine ( xtenso ) how much yung labor fee?

korean brand of hair color un ginamit sa akin, try ko lang, for curiousity..like ilang months na wash and rinse buhok ko..nagblebleed pa din un color sa buhok ko.nagpacolor n nga ako sa ibang salon, gnu din comments nila..kakacolor lang ba nng hair mo?
about service, dipende [textspeak!] sa mga assistant, may mga friendly, may mga hindi..normally sa knila magsusuggest nng iba nila service ,so dapat mabait sila.pro in summary..will not go back to their salon..

had a very good experience with TnJ before.. after reading the posts here, parang i get the impression na if you get the 5K rebond package, then ok treatment nila sa customers but if you get a package that's cheaper than that, then that's when they start to be pushy? and customers become irritated? and that's the start of all these comments? tama ba?

anyway, has anyone tried the hair manicure lang sa TnJ? how long does the result last? is it good?

i used to go to T & J Tomas Morato mga 2 years ago... sobrang ok sila... tapos when they opened at Amoranto.. i tried it since mas malapit sa lugar ko ... sobra akong disappointed... they forced me to get Loreal instead of Korean meds lang... tapos yung koreano di ko rin type... di n ako bumalik... last week... tinry ko naman yung branch nila sa North Edsa... sinabihan pa naman ako na they need to add P1k kasi makapal ang buhok ko.. tsk tsk tsk.. akala ko ba fixed rate sila... so sabi ko... eversince nagpaparebond ako sa T & J wala naman additional kapag makapal ang buhok... and hindi naman makapal ang buhok ko... i think it's just not manipis pero hindi naman yung buhaghag talaga... lagi lang kasi nakapony tail before kaya may 'line'... so i told them if they're gonna charge me extra wag na lang aalis n lang ako... considering ikli na ng hair ko above shoulder... ending.. di sila nagextra charge pero sus... superbilis gnawa... at sobrang pangit ng service... did not bother asking their names... hindi na rin ako namigay ng tip... at siyempre... di na rin ako babalik!

nakakalungkot nga kasi hindi na sila tulad ng dati:( I dont think babalik pa ako for treatment sa kanila haircut nalang siguro. To think ang tagal ko na sa kanila nagpapahair xtenso tapos ewan:( pero inayos naman nila yung hair ko ulit :( pag sis bumalik sa dati, pwede mo ibalik sa kanila para ipaayos pero make sure to talk with the senior stylist nalang kasi sya nagbibiga ng go signal para ulitin yung treatment

I only go to Tony and Jackey for rebonding.  For me, okay naman yung Korean medicine nila so kahit na ipush nila ko to avail of L'Oreal, hindi ako pumapayag.

Just last Sunday, I had my hair rebonded.  I told the stylist I want to avail of the Php1500 rebonding only.  They were pushing me to avail of more expensive services kasi daw masisira daw hair ko etc. etc. They wanted me to take their rebonding package na around Php4500 kasi daw long ang thick ang hair ko.  Eh hello I have been availing of the same service (P1500 rebonding) for almost 5 years na, wala namang negative results.  They even asked me to sign a waiver na should anything happen to my hair daw I couldn't complain. Parang nananakot na effect.

Kaya I'm looking for other salons na rin na okay at cost-effective.  Like I said, I never had negative results pa naman sa rebonding nila kahit itong latest super okay naman *fingers crossed*.  Okay lang sana if they suggest lang, pero nakakainis yung pinipilit ka nila for stuff na ayaw mo / out of your budget.  ::)

hi sis! are u talking about the aqua something na rebond?
OK ba yung Aqua Rebonding nila? The attendant told me na for untreated hair lang un recommended dapat daw yung Loreal Xtenso pag treated na yung hair.

ok naman i guess if you're doing it for the past 5yrs na right?

TIA!
