^ ako sis, i dont consider as diet yung energen. kasi di ba parang milo yan? so nakakataba din yun kahit na may fibers pa.
before nga as in oats + water lang yung oatmeal prep ko. then lately i add some coffee creamer, kasi naman that's in powdered form and the amount i use is really small so negligible na yung fat content nun.
a friend of mine nilalagyan niya ng honey yung oats niya, mas masarap daw. never tried it though. then she uses almond milk.

Timely ang pagkakita ko ng thread na ito. :) We had a well-being awareness seminar last week and the facilitator said eating porridge for breakfast is good for the body. So last night i bought kellogs special K porridge - almond and honey flavour. Sana masarap, my problem too with oats is the taste.

yes mas effective nga to than diet after 6 or eating just purely fruits. kasi with those, you still tend to eat a lot. oats kasi is fiber and it's quite bulky so you feel fuller faster and matagal din yung full feeling.  ;)

Oatmeal + Muscovado ang sarap. Hate ko din kasi yung pure oatmeal lang parang lasan paper hehe

^ ako sis this serves as my kanina actually. i still eat viand, usually after consuming the oatmeal para feeling busog na rin ako.  ;)

try adding honey or yung creamer ng coffee, negligible na ang fat/calorie content ng mga ganun kasi it's already powderized.

I love overnight oats (or bircher muesli).

I just soak 6 tbsp of rolled oats/quick oats in almond milk, mix in all sorts of stuff like berries, banana, mango, cinnamon, vanilla, organic peanut butter, etc., and leave in the fridge overnight. No cook and yum breakfast the following day. I store my overnight oats in mason jars.

@ sis green-aholic, maybe you could try diff fruits. Like today mango, tomorrow banana. Para hindi paulit ulit :) medyo nakakasawa nga talaga kung wala kang ihahalong iba. Hahaha. Pero ayun, ako kanina, breakfast ko oatmeal and banana. Tom oatmeal with sliced mangoes naman siguro :)

Will try this diet again after finals siguro. Di carry ng oatmeal lang pag madaming ginagawa, bilis maubusan ng energy.

Unflavored oatmeal mixed with a little cereal and milk for me. Either lunch or dinner. Two meals lang ako daily with yogurt or crackers as snacks. Then more water. Then one cup rice lang for the one meal na hindi oatmeal.

I'm trying this now using Quaker Instant Oatmeal. My question is okay lang ba na powdered milk ang ihalo? Yung ordinary powdered milk or need talaga na skim milk?

Also sa breakfast ko pa lang siya kinakain, then for lunch normal meal (served here in our office) and for dinner, no rice... so sa umaga kasi nagugutom ako before maglunch, okay lang po ba na magmilo ako in between oatmeal breakfast and lunch? Or not?

Pa-advise naman mga sis. Thanks in advance!
