Sis Intela_vista,
Sis tama din yan na may cheat day ka kasi kung puro puro kang oatmeal forever ever you get tired din siguro hehe. Ako din Sunday pero  kahit na di ako nakaoatmeal diet, I am not a big fan din kasi of pork chops, mga pork, beef,etc..

Sis blackrose,
Sis I tried eating oatmeal with egg din okay din naman. Dinurog ko ang hard boiled egg then eat ko lang siya okay na okay hehe!

Sis hairt mini,
Sis same tayo ng sked! Oatmeal for breakfast, half rice lunch, oatmeal uli sa gabi.

Hello sisters, pa-join. I will also try this diet, start ako today since hindi pako nagbbreakfast. Nagback-read ako and got all the different ways to cook the oatmeal. Question lang po? Gaano karaming oatmeal ang dapat kong kainin in one meal, let's say breakfast or dinner? Half or 1 cup? Ma-kanin din ako lalo masarap ang ulam, so i'll also try to eat 1/2 cup rice pag lunch. Mukhang matipid pa 'to than buying expensive meal replacements. Please keep on posting para naman ma-feel ko na hindi lang ako nag-iisa to reach my losing-weight goal. Nadedepress kasi ako minsan pag nagda-diet, so I think I need a support group to push me like all of you, lol! Thanks!

It's my 2nd day today and I have observations and questions from yesterday.

1. Nagugutom ba kayo agad?
-What happened to me yesterday, i ate half cup of oatmeal, after 3 hours lang I'm starving na.
-I don't know kung kulang yung oatmeal ko to keep me full until lunch

2. Do you need to wait until lunch time na gutom  or have some snacks?
- I ate 1 banana but still I'm hungry in-between, and when I eat fruits pag gutom nako parang kumukulo yun tummy ko, hindi kasi ako mashado sanay na puro fruits lang. Parang feeling ko hindi sya bumababa sa tyan ko and after an hour parang gutom na naman ako.  :-[

3. What else can I eat for snacks in-between?

My comment: Nakaka-umay nga pag puro oatmeal lang, nakakasawa!

^^i suggest opt for the unflavored oatmeal. para sa kin ha, mas filling to kesa dun sa mga naka sachet with flavors. mas microwave naman siguro sa halos lahat ng office so hindi naman hassle na unflavored pack ang dalhin. what i do is, 3-4 spoonfuls of oatmeal and 1 tbsp of sugar. marami na yan. then drink tea kung feeling mo hindi bumababa mga kinain mo. sanayan lang yan sis.

back to this diet again. i really love oatmeal kasi carbo na sya like rice, but at the same time healthier.

hindi to as effective if youre gonna get those na flavored, coz those are packed with sugar din, especially yung chocolate. :D

para di kayo maumay, do some variations, add kayo ng fresh fruits, not canned/preserved ones dahil kargado padin ng sugar yun.

effective sakin to and could be enough to make me feel stuffed until im ready to eat lunch (i usually eat lunch ng late na, around 3pm or 4, so parang lunchrienda na haha!).

mom's daily breakfast is a cup of oatmeal unflavored with 2 tablespoons ng honey and 2pcs ng nilagang saging na saba. and she's good to last until late lunch also.

wag nyo kainin ng plain ang oatmeal coz youd easily get sick of the taste.

Hello sisters, I'm on my 4th day today and I lost 1 kilo pa lang naman for the past 3 days na walang cardio or exercise since I was working the whole day. Now I will try with brisk walking lang to start then work-out na everyday, we'll see.

Thanks euwie, I will take note of tea when I eat fruits and drink lots of water in-between.

Thanks babyjapnurseo1, thanks din sa variation. What time do you usually eat breakfast?

For me, I also use the plain unflavored, but I just mix it quickly with hot milk and sugar. I don't like it cooking for a long time on burner or microwave kasi nagiging fluffy dry yun texture nya, hindi ko malunok. Mas gusto ko yung may nangunguya pa'ko ng konti.

^ there are 2 kinds kasi diba the instant oats and the ones you have to cook talaga. I use the instant oats, mas quicker and hassle free ang pag prepare :D

I usually eat breakfast between 7-9am :) i would suggest you use honey instead of sugar mas masarap din flavor nya, or use fruits to sweeten it naturally :)

for snacks, try niyo apple slices, unsalted nuts -- filling snacks ito aside from the usual banana :)

I'm doing an oatmeal diet now. Kaso madami milk and 1 teaspoon of sugar para matamis parin. hehe.

On my part it's hard to diet kasi graveyard yung shift ko so hindi normal yung oras ng kain ko.

3 days palang naman since I strated this diet and hindi ko binibigla.

I still eat rice pero half cup lang tapos kinakalat ko siya sa plate para mukhang madami. hehe
