^ There are some babies who go without poop for 5 to 7 days without any problems. Pero if your baby is irritable, distended ang tummy and di mapakali, then it would be best to have your baby examined by the pedia.
When in doubt, best to consult the pedia.

Sis nagswitch kami ng milk ni baby from nan pro 1 to s26 kahapon di siya nakapoop pero ngayon nakapoop na siya green and parang peanut butter yung consistency niya then parang hirap na hirap siya ilabas. Help naman sisses tia! btw we switch her milk kasi mas closest to bf daw yung s26 yung poop niya sa nan pro 1 ok lang medyo watery lang. Di kaya naging ganun yung poop ni baby dahil sa transition ng pagpapalit niya ng milk?

^ May I know who said that S26 is closest to breastmilk? Are you referring to S26 hypoallergenic milk or the regular S26?
Anyway, there will be changes in poop consistency during the 1st few days of transition from 1 milk to another. If it persists and your baby is having a hard time from it, then it would be best to inform your pedia.

hi Doc lelet,
bakit po kaya iba iba ang inaadvise ng mga pedia sa mga babies.
yung pinsan ko advise ng pedia sa baby nya (same kami ng pedia) Enfalac Gentlease tas sa baby ko po Similac TC, 2 weeks lang po ang tanda ng baby ko sa baby nya.

same kmi ng naging problem kasi watery yung poop ng babies naming sa s26 gold

^ Sorry but it would be best to ask your pedia regarding the difference in milk formula suggestion since it is your pedia who knows the difference in the cases of the 2 babies.

^ constipated means hindi makatae. poop is very dry. increase water. hiyangan kasi ang baby sa formula milk e. depende kay baby kung saan sya mahihiyang.

i can't give more info as I am a breastfeeding mom hehe. pero narinig ko lang kapag constipated more water.

Ganun nga if constipated.  If you know someone with breastmilk, you can mix feed din.

mommies our baby is mixed fed. normally once a day siya kung magpoop, then there was this one day last week na naging watery and frequent ang poop. we consulted the pedia and advised us to have his stool checked. kaso paguwi namin naging ok na din yung consistency and frequency kaya we didnt bother with the fecalysis. ngayon naman he hasnt pooped for like 4 days already. i know its ok for ebf babies pero what about those that are mixed fed? need your inputs please! tia!

Hi sisses! Just want to ask if somebody experiencing baby poop with powdery black dust. Parang ganon.. everytime kasi na pakainin ko si baby ng banana ganon yung poop niya. parang may kasama na black fibers/powder.. parang ganon. sabi nga ng pedia niya ipalab ko daw just to make sure.. pero yung regular poop niya okay naman. ganon lang talaga everytime she ate banana. TIA!

^that's normal sis...yun yung fiber ng banana. ganun din si baby ko pinakain ko ng banana the next day nag poop may mga black something e sakto pedia day, kumuha ako ng sample nung black something then pinakita ko kay pedia.

thanks sis! yung pedia kasi ni baby not familiar sa ganon kaya sabi niya ipalab daw yung stool ni baby.
