Can't we question other people's opinions here? malay mo he gives a good explanation and I will side with him. Our forums are full of questions and answers and that's how we are enlightened and teach each other.

The fact the the OP uses the term "consider" in her question already connotes that being fat is negative.
Society, media, and biological science teaches that a species chooses a mate in better physical condition. Who are we kidding?

Sometimes the truth hurts but a real friend stabs you in the front, not in the back.

I got floored a couple of months ago.
I was at my salon and bumped into a really guapo and rich guy na part of my childhood.  He introduced his fiancee ... and the girl's mom.  OMGosh.. she was taba as in taba talaga   mga 150 lbs.  (ganun ako kataba when 8mos preggers eh kaya estimate ko ganon)   
Imagine,  he accompanied the girl and the mom to the salon -- he was just there waiting and entertaining them.

We also see in chichi glossy mags, fatso brides di ba?  Tapos you read the blurb,  que so many years na sila together.

So you just can't strike out chubbies from romantic equations.

^^^you may have a point but  i guess it's just the way you deliver the lines. yes, i am also intrigued with the answer of dell but i would just ask him a simple "why" and not use words like "disappoint/disappointed" and "how could you". well, ikaw yan. that's your opinion.

^^ true. i have a friend who makes kwento din na meron siya guy friend na mas preferred makipagdate sa mga girls on the heavier side. in fact, all her gf daw is chubby/fat.

personally, i would rather date a fat man than be with men who acts like he is God's gift to women.  just my two cents.

May thinking kasi ang mga tao na kapag fat eh mabaho, madungis etc not too far from the literal pig kaya pagtingin nila sa fat person I guess siguro yun ang unang naiisip nila. Di mo din naman masisi kung maicompare sa ganun kasi nga society & life depicts a pig as unhealthy, etc etc pero I guess na sa outlook na ng tao yan

I have a gwapo friend na lahat ng naging gf mga matataba. Mas gusto daw nya at minsan naman daw wala sa taba o payat yan as long na kasundo nya.

I heard the term chubby chaser before from a friend. Meron daw ganoon na ahente sa company namin. As in mas nacu-cute tan siya sa chubby/fat girls.

So I guess, it's really a matter of preference.

Girls kasi now are so conscious of their figure. So, we really work hard to attain a good body. Not naman the supermodel/model figure, but at least be within your height's ideal weight. The bad thing is, our food now - especially the ones that are easily accessible - does not really support whatever diet we need. :/

^sis buti you can accept reality and not in denial.

If that makes you feel better to stay overweight - fine, so be it.
But someone who really cares will be honest and tell you the harsh realities of life kahit masakit.

Men will choose slim women over fat women 99% of the time.
