sisters if u want to meet decent, smart guys sa graduate school marami nun...ngayon ko lang naisip nung nabasa ko ang thread na ito...kasi last sem i enrolled for my master's degree in bio and maraming guys na nag aaral sa school ko ( master's din siguro ) maski nga yung anak ng prof namin single din yun...nakakatuwa naman mag eenroll ka lang sa graduate school para makameet ng matinong lalake pero yun ang pinakasure ( para sa akin )na makakameet ka at matalino pa ha at may pangarap sa buhay kasi may further studies siya ibig sabihin gusto niyang umasenso sa buhay....marami akong classmates noon na mga single guys may isa pa nga 40 something na siya single pa rin...

Love is hiding...

People has been telling me that im so choosy/picky. Is that so wrong?  I mean, wala na ba tayong right to NOT settle? For me, kasi, relationship is like a career. Your aim is to go up.  If you have a relationship with someone na college graduate before, why would you go for a high school drop out the next? Di ba? Ganun lang yun. For me, if i choose someone na way below than what my ex has accomplished, pagtatawanan ako sa amin at ng pamilya niya.

A lot of people has been telling me that as long as a guy has a good job, okay na lang yun. Eh, graduate lahat kami sa family namin. So even if in western countries education doesn't weigh as much, it still matters to me and my family. Nakikita naman natin, di ba, that some are successful even if hs grad lang sila? Pero, di ko talaga feel eh.

Education is JUST one of those na important talaga in choosing a life's mate.

oo nga katagal, when i was in my 20's sabi ko career muna, nagpakatino sa trabaho, in my early 30's goal ko to be an officer pero long story, when i reached 37 nag-iba na plano ko sa buhay, it doesnt matter na what's my position sa work (eh associate pa rin ako) parang  mas focus ako sa family ko ngayon, sa mother ko, kay sister at sa aking pamangkin (my sis is a single mom). tapos when I go home something is missing, inggit ako when i see couples sa pag commute ko, how i wish i had someone to always be beside me, someone to be called my other half, that's when I started to pray na, before going to sleep I pray to GOD to bless me with a partner in life. parang si regine velasquez doon sa interview niya, dumating nako sa punto ng buhay ko na gusto ko naman na may makasama, hindi na lang puro pillows katabi ko..lol. I hope God will give me that other half.
