museo pambata

who here has been to museo pambata lately? i would like to bring my kid and his cousins (aged 4-8yrs old respectively) on a sat on july.  i would like to get a feedback. is the place nice? matutuwa ba sila? sobrang luma na ba (madami nang mga don't touch and kapag pwede touch sira naman... believe me, i have encountered museums/kid acitivity centers that are like that). our group would probably consist of 5adults and 5kids.

^ sis museo is still in good shape. i bring my nieces and nephews here once in a while though mejo nasasawa na sila kasi they know the place well na. if it's the kid's first time, i'm sure they'll enjoy especially the inquisitive ones.  bigger kids might find it a little boring though. if you are manila citizens and student, you get a discount, teachers are free. manila citizens are free on certain day of the week.

i brought my 3 year old niece to museo pambata last april.

nag-enjoy naman siya. she liked the section where there are mga stalls na parang palengke kasi kunyari tindera siya and her lola was her customer.

hindi siya masyadong nag enjoy don sa the human body na section kasi medyo natakot siya lalo na don sa may parang intestines. pero nung nakita niya yung ibang bata don, pumasok na din siye pero kailangan pa samahan.

may certain sundays of the month din na may parang arts and crafts session ang kids. tuwa naman. you may want to go on a sunday if you want this. free naman. afternoons lang sila open pag sundays though.

^tama sis, and i suggest na visit their website before going para me idea kung kelan yung crafts/arts/activities. usually sa weekends yun.

Plan ko dalhin mga kids sa MP next weekends. Excited na nga eldest ko. Pero best talaga, check muna website nila para sa programs or activities before pumunta.

saan po banda yung museo pambata mga sis? how much entrance and the schedule?

We were just here last week. Nice naman, enjoy yung small kids ko. P100 entrance fee adults/children. They have a website, google mo na lang Nag side trip to Manila Zoo din kami nun. A nice alternative to the usual mall trips. Pwede din side trip pa sa Manila Ocean Park

My 2 y/o boy medyo hindi pa masyado enjoy sa Museo. Yung 4 y/o girl ko, yun kasi medyo curious na at nagscho-school na kaya enjoy siya sa Museo.
Try their library too. We did hang out there nung pagod na kami kakaikot.

am scouting for places in the metro where i can bring my niece, nephew, and lil sister (ages 8, 9, and 10) this summer.  i've already taken them to manila ocean park, the philippine science centrum in marikina, avilon zoo.

i just hope they have enough budget to refurbish the area. few more years and it will be in ruins.

I took my kids to Museo Pambata last Saturday. I couldn't remember how it looked like when I visited MP during the 90s.

My kids enjoyed it there, but for us adults, hindi ako masyado na-amaze kasi parang ang luma-luma na nga.

But your kids will enjo it there lalo na pag may activities and story-telling!

Natakot [textspeak!] middle child ko dun sa huge face ng girl with open-mouth. Ay sus, ayaw na tuloy pumunta sa 2nd floor. Hahaha

Tuwang-tuwa sila dun sa helicopter na ginawang slide... and to top it all, we rode the kalesa. Ayun nag-enjoy to the max and they can't forget the horse' name "Adonis" LOL!
