BEWARE of ANIMAL HOUSE Del Monte branch!

i used to have my dog checked and groom in animal kaso ang hirap kasi for me going there, kailanagan super aga ka kasi madami nag papa groom sa kanila tapos babalikan mo yung dog sa afternoon or late evening na. of course ayaw ko kasi ayaw ko mag antay yung dog ko ng ganon katagal. One time mag pa-pa groom kami so i went upstairs kasi sa animal house jupiter you will bring your dog sa 2nd floor kasi doon yung grooming area nila. before i enter the room nakita ko talaga na yung nag groom eh sinuntok yung labrador. sabi ko OMG! bakit nila sinuntok. so natakot na ako for my dog baka pag hindi sila sinunod baka suntukin. i entered the room pa rin and asked the groomer, baket mo naman sinuntok yung aso? parang nagulat yung groomer and hindi nakapag salita na parang natatakot. so right there and then i left animal house and decided to go to their Market Market branch kasi maliit lang yung animal house doon and you can see outside while gino-groom yung dog mo.

after that incident, nag hanap na ako ng vet/groomer near our place and buti naman meron super lapit na newly opened and the owner is a breeder/vet at the same time and may alaga silang dog talaga so im sure safe and dog ko.

one more thing, everytime after ma groom ang dog ko sa animal house nagkakakuto. super inis ko talaga. kasi sa house wala naman. basta everytime nagpapa groom kame after mga 3 days nakikita ko na yung dog ko nagkakamot.

nadala ko na yung dog k sa congressional layo  super sa amin hehe but okey lang bait noong vet comportable  siyang kausap, todo explain talaga siya, and di siya tulad noong dalawang vet na napuntahan ko na puro turok lang ata ang alam gawin sa aso ko. Happy ako sakanya kahit super layo unfortunately di ko natannong name noong vet. hehe

^3 yung vet dun from what I remember, right now, nakalimutan ko narin yung mga pangalan ng vet may temporary amnesia ata ako today :p yung isa, maputi na maliit, then the other one is chubby guy. doc joey ata yun. forgot the name of the maputi guy cya yung umasikaso sa dog ko nung nirush namin cya:)

We used to take our dogs to the Animal House along Aurora when we lived in New Manila. It was so close by we could walk there to pick up the dogs. We were really happy with the vets, they knew our dog's name everytime we arrived even though we only go every 4- 5 months. Not sure if they are 24 hours but they do allow boarding of dogs. The time our dog was bitten by another dog, my sister rushed him to this branch at around 10PM and they opened up the store to treat him.

We've now moved to the other side of QC and Animal House del monte is the closest one to us. But after reading this thread I'm scared to take them there na    May continue to bring our dogs to the New Manila branch instead.

^ i used to live near banawe back in college, so naturally i bring my pets to animal house del monte for grooming and shots, pero not once did i like it there. the vets and staff are not friendly at all, especially the groomers, my god walang TLC at all when he handles my pets. Although i like doc berna (i think that's her name). Now i go to their aurora branch na. my only concern is when they groom my dogs, di ko mabantayan coz they groom the pets upstairs while i wait sa waiting area. and another thing pala, kahit sa aurora, the staff also are not that friendly. pero taking all this aside, i still owe it to them for saving my little chelsea

Oh? They're pretty friendly, they all know our dogs names when we walk in and the vets talk to us naman. When it comes to grooming they ask if I want to watch or be with our dog during grooming. I normally leave them and ask them to call when the dogs are ready for pick up.

I don't have any bad impression naman with the Animal House Clinic del monte/banawe branch.. I used to bring my shih-tzu sa kanila nuon.. Ok naman ang approach nila, at very very soft-spoken ang female vet, as in ang hina magsalita pero never naman sila nagmukhang masungit o deadma, even the staffs/cashier.. Yun lang base sa na-experience ko.. Ewan ko lang sa iba..

I have been going to Animal House New Manila branch for years now and I don't have any problems, too. They are nice and friendly to me and my pets naman.

nagulat naman ako na sinuntok ang labrador. kung ako nakakita, magrereklamo talaga ako. kapag alaga ko yun, patay sya sa akin.  panu kaya kapag golden retriever ko ang dinala dun.

 @ sis Grayce: just wanna ask about the acv diluted in water, do you just spray in on the entire body? once a day lang sis and okay ba to spray it directly on the wound? tia!

^i spray it as often as possible,for now pure acv ang iniispray ko kay bubbles, i noticed na tumutubo na yung mga hairs dun sa kalbo na areas:) ok lang to spray directly on the wound para matuyo rin agad.

howmuch mag pa groom ng shih and chihuahua ngayon sa animal house market market?and how much na yun shot for anti rabies? not yet in service na kase yun no. ng market2x sa website nila e..

I only go to that Animal House Del Monte br for grooming for my tzus, just because of their proximity... used to have another bad experience with them as well when my bulldog pup then were vomiting and pooping with blood.

One look from the vet then, she said that is parvo and malala na, should be prepared for the worse. They offered to take her in for dextrose but there's nothing they can do daw.

I took them to Doc Rico (in Mayon) and amoebiasis pala, though worse na so she died eventually.

^sis , where in Mayon si Doc Rico? by the end of this month kasi makukuha na namin shi tzu and since malapit lang kami sa mayon, possible na dun ko na lang sya dalhin.

i think this is the same branch where my mom took my dog from grooming.
naiyak ako for my dog after discoverung what they did. kasi akala namin may kuto lang or nagiging naughty lang cya.  kasi ayaw matulog at naglilikot.  tapos parang kinikiskis niya mukha niya sa floor tapos biglang iiyak ng malakas after a while.  ganun ginagawa niya and since wala kaming makitang reason, sinasaway pa namin.

aftar a day, nilalaro ko yung dog ko. napansin ko pulang pula yung mata.  so i got eye drops para ma relieve yung kati.  kala ko dahil lang sa balahibo or dumi.  pag hila ko nung lower lid niya, nanghina ako. may malaking uka sa loob ng eye lid niya. at mamumula din yung eyeball nya sa part na yun.  long haired kasi dog ko.  so i suspect na while trying to comb his cheeks, pumasok sa eye nya yung comb at nahila.  it must have hurt like hell for my dog.  nagka fever siya after. i think probably because of infection.  buti na lang gumaling na rin.

^^terible! kawawa naman dog mo! kung ako yun babalik ako at magrereklamo. and never ako nag-iiwan ng dog for grooming. kahit kilala ko pa yun shop. kahit anong ingat nila, kapag may accident, hindi mo masisigurong sasabihin sa yo. pero kung nakaharap ka, kung mangyari man yun, you sure will get compensated and taken care of. kung wala rin lang ako oras para bantayan, di na ko magpapagroom. in the first place, their fur would naturally grow naman e. as in it's nature working. it shouldn't hurt more than what the groomers might do.
