ang ganda nga nung atmoshpere sa website kaya nalilito na naman ako. kung sa apo island resort naman kasi kami magstay for one night, e di ba walang kuryente dun sa umaga? saka fan rooms lang dun eh, kasama ko pa naman baby ko.

^true! ang ganda ng website nila di ba.. saka mukang mas malaki land/ garden area nila compared to bahura.. kaso nga lang ang price.. hehe.. pati transfers kase nila ang mahal e kaya mas pinili na lang namin bahura.  nag DIY lang kami ng transfers don and jkering keri naman. naenjoy din ng daughter ko  ang bus ride

could you comment on my IT
Day 1 arrival ETA 8:35am go to Siaton birthplace of my dad checkin at a B&B there
Day 2 take a day tour to Antulang (heard its near siaton daw) in the pm go back to the city and checkin at Hotel Nicanor check out the sites in the city
Day 3 Take the ferry to Siquijor - day tour with Joam (should i take the 6am or 9am ferry) keri na ba if 9am maiikot na lahat para makabalik ng 3pm ferry back to the city
Day 4 Back to manila 12:40 flight- Pasalubong shopping (ilan hours before the flight kelangan nandoon?)

Day 2 - i do not recommend Antulang. you can read my post/review a few pages back. i'd rather have a day tour at Apo Island instead. But if gusto mo talaga yun, sige di na kita pipigilan. hehe 

Day 3 - much better kung 6am para mas mahaba time. gahol sa oras pag 9am tapos 3am babalik din agad. o kaya why not mag overnight na lang sa siquijor para mas maenjoy yun place?

Day 4 - malapit lang yun airport. 2hrs before the flight alis ka na sa hotel.

sis lakwatsa... didnt think of taking a day tour to apo kasi di naman kami magsnorkling - im with my parents and 3 yr old son soparang di sulit angboat ride not unlsmay iba pa na pwede ikutan sa Apo Island like siquijor
yung siquijor trip naman i was thinking overnight pero baka magahol kami sa oras papuntang airport on the last day. pero pwede rin overnyt if i move it to day 2 and day 3 watcha think?

oic. sa apo kasi swim in the sanctuary at saka swim with the pawikans yun highlight. ganun na nga lang, day 2-3 e overnight ka na lang siquijor para maenjoy nyo yun place at hindi ngarag sa paghahabol ng sched ng ferry

sis kimmy theres a 5:50 am boat jaylan ata ang name going to siquijor if you cant catch it, the next trip is 9:00 am delta ferry and the last trip in the afternoon going  back to dumaguete is 3:00 pm, IMO its best to stay atleast overnight in siquijor, i loved the place so much especially ang Coco grove resort

jo-am was our guide also we arrived at siquijor at 10 am, then tour na agad, finished past 3 pm, we didnt stay long sa mga sites, pa picture lang and then go na, then derecho na sa coco grove after ng tour.

mabait si jo-am and hospitable, he knows a lot about siquijor,and gives info about each place youre going.. he charged us 800 for the tour, but we told him,well make it 1,000 so that the next day hell fetch us at the resort going to the port.

coco grove resort is recommended, very peaceful and so un-boracay, its a great place to relax, plus the people who worked there are warm and friendly, the food was okay. you can do a lot and amenities are free, like kayaks and the game room,when you roam around the resort youll be greeted by the staffs once they see you. its a recommended place to stay in siquijor

i really recommend siquijor if you want a laid back vacation

also for those who want to go to apo island, you can inquire at their receptionist, if they can come up with 10 heads they arrange a trip going to apo island using their boat, its 1,600 per head including lunch i think.

also make sure to buy return tickets ahead, in our case there were lots of chance passengers already when we arrived at the port at 11:30 am,the departure time going to dumaguete was 12:30 pm, good thing we bought our tickets the previous day

were currently at hotel nicanor now:) the hotel is okay superior room is spacious, it happens that there is a week long buglasan festival, lucky for us to spend this weekend in dumaguete

btw when i was at the port i looked at the delta ferry schedule going to siquijor, the 6 am trip is only on mondays, but there is the jaylan boat that leaves at 5:50 am the security guard told us that

This was part of our backpack trip last week. Dumaguete is a nice place! We went to the Twin Lakes. Pasakay na kami sa habal-habal (who charged us 200 per person) but then we met a couple who was riding a 4WD Jeep and they let us hitchhike! The view was really good, roadtrip up to the mountain. Boating to the another lake is 250/per boat. Really cheap!

 does anyone know what are the delta ferry skeds ... para i would have an idea what time i would need to leave siaton for the ferry in the city?
from siquijor port madali lang ba going to coco grove? isip ko checkin coco grove on day 2 then tour day 3 or should i do tour day 2 (meaaning leave dumaguete port early then check in coco gove after tour) para day 3 relax mode na lang before leaving for the siquijor port

^eto yun sched ng delta ng meron ako. napicture-an ko ito sa port last june. pero sis pagkakaalala ko mabilis magpalit ng sched ang mga ferry dun so pagdating nyo dun better check na lang kung ano new sched nila:

malapit lang yun port sa mga hotels dun like nicanor, bethel, etc. but if you want yun may free transfers (to/from airport or seaport), mag C&L bayview inn ka na lang. or pwede din hotel nicanor then trike na lang going to the port. yun port katapat nya e silliman university.

take mo na lang yun early ferry para diretso tour ka na agad pagdating siquijor tapos drop off nyo sa cocogrove na. hindi yata kasi free ang RT transfers sa coco grove. para day 3 mo e relax mode na lang.

^^ we stayed at hotel nicanor, its a good location,also bethel sa harap lang siya mismo ng baywalk,both hotels are walking distance to mamias,sans rival,siliman university,cafe antonio, baywalk and port,my jollibee and chowking 24 hours na malapit, at near sa mga ATMs.  okay din ang hayahay grill, i loved their chili crabs enjoy siquijor and dumaguete sis.

yes coc grove transfers are not included in their room rates.. di ko maalala, 400/way ata.

agree! super ok ang location ng hotel nicanor, kaya less gastos for the trike ride.

ok na ako sa hotel nicanor on Day 1 and  Day 3... wont be staying overnight sa siaton anymore just a quick trip na lang since mga 8:00 am nandun nakami sa city balikan na lang kami para hindi ngarag ng day 2 papuntang ferry. pwede naman bumuli ng ferry tickets on day 1 di ba para sa day 2 na biyahe papuntang siquijor?

back from dumaguete 
food trip galore talaga doon.... stayed at hotel nicanor ok naman nothing to rave about
didnt go to siaton anymore but we did a city tour with kuya mar ( ) we paid 1500 and he brought us around siliman university, cathedral,belfry tower,zipline,pulang batofalls,forest camp and jo chicken inato by the sea
we were able to eat at sans rival, mamias, halahay,lab as and scoobys( )

would love to go back to see the rest of dumaguete
