DUMAGUETE

mga sis, me and my guardian (auntie, aged 66 y/o) will be going to dumaguete on september 8 to 10, 3D,2N. wala pa ako itinerary. please help me naman in doing an itinerary. gusto ko sana mapuntahan yun casaroro falls pero mukhang hindi kakayanin ni mommy. so possible dumaguete day tour kami sa first day. second day siquijor tour, ayaw pang pumayag ni mommy na magovernight kami sa siquijor but hopefully mapapapayag ko na rin siya. 

at dahil si mommy ang kasama ko malamang yun mga beach eh pasyal pasyal lang kami. wala masyado swimming. thanks po

sis, pwede din kayo sa forest camp - dito kami nag take off going to casaroro falls.  btw, madami yung steps going down to the falls, tapos syempre ganun din yung going up.  kung athletic naman si mother pwede siguro kasi may mga lugar naman na pwedeng umupo at mag rest.

yung sa twin lake of balinsasayao, better go there in the morning or early afternoon, kasi nasa itaas ng bundok yun eh.  we were able to see only of the twin lakes kasi late afternoon na eh gagabihin na kami pababa/pabalik sa dumaguete city.

^thanks sis. early morning na lang yun twin lake namin. athletic si mommy dati kaya lang na mild stroke kasi siya early this year kaya hindi na pwede yun masyadong nakakapagod na activities. 

sayang nga eh. babalik na lang siguro akong dumaguete for casaroro falls.

mga sis, can you recommend kung saan masarap magbreakfast sa dumaguete? plan ko kasi breakfast muna kami ni mommy before going to siquijor.

^ kung coffee coffee lang sis, recommend ko sans rival, though may kanin ulam din ata sila di ko natry.. if yung mga pasta-rice o basta heavy meal, sa mamia's or qyosko..

^thanks sis. ill try yun mamia's and qyosko. parang gusto ko nga rin yun jo's inato for breakfast. hehe.. medyo weird lang.

plan namin yung dinner namin sa lab-as.

meron pa ba kayo pwede irecommend na masarap maglunch?

for lab-as sis, natry namin magdinner.. mejo matagal yung service samin, so far longest sa tanang history ng paghihintay ko sa resto.. sabi nung guide na nakilala namin marami na raw nga nagreklamo about sa ganun dun at may natanggal na ng mayari, pero since lagi din daw wala dun, may mga ganun pa ring nangyayari.. nung nagtanong kami sa isa sa kanila kung mga ilang minutes pa order namin kasi halos 1hr na kami naghihintay, tinarayan kami.. maliit lang din servings pero masarap kung sa masarap.. kung kakain kayo dun i suggest na sa labas na lang na table kunin niyo para malibang libang kayo sa tanawin habang naghihintay

^thanks sis. naeexcite na ako mag food trip sa dumaguete. qyosko na lang kami mag breakfast, jo's inato yun lunch then lab-as dinner. sabi nila madami pwede kainin na street food sa dumaguete, ganun muna kami before dinner para hindi naman kami magutom ng husto. hehe...

been here... the best na hotel sken dito ay hotel nicanor... =) parang ayaw mo ng lumabas pag dito ka nag stay... sarap sa sanzrival ... and sobrang affordable ng mga foods dito... i missed yun suman na may chocolate sa loob...

^jan din kami tumuloy sis at gusto ko nga yung ambiance talaga nila at reasonable pa ang price at malapit pa sa lahat.. few blocks away from sans rival, mamia's at sa magandang blvd ng dumaguete

maganda sa dumaguete. isa sa mga lugar na gusto kong balik-balikan. the city is old but charming, and bohemian too.

we stayed at grand pensionne plaza hotel. basic rooms pero affordable at mababait ang mga nasa front desk.

sa nagtatanong where to have breakfast before going to the ferry terminal, pwede sa popular fastfood places like chowking sa may bayan, sa mga carinderia along rizal boulevard, or duma's local fastfood, scooby's. if my memory serves me right, sans rival doesn't open 'til 10 or 11 am. pero must go to place talaga ang sans rival, try having lunch, dinner or meryenda there. they serve rice meals, pasta and oh so yummy dessert.

tambay kayo sa rizal boulevard pag gabi, and try the different street foods there. ok din sa hayahay, wednesday night is reggae night i think. beside hayahay is lab-as, medyo matagal nga ang service pero masarap ang seafood viands nila.

you can go to apo island and snorkel sa marine sanctuary and, if you're lucky, spot turtles sa dagat. you can also ask your guide to accompany you to the light house, but prepare for major hiking.

hi, just came back from our dumaguete-siquijor tour! sarap, sobrang enjoy yung pasyal namen.. overnight kame sa dumaguete then lipat ng siquijor overnight din. while in dumaguete, we stayed in bethel hotel. ang sarap nga magfood trip sa dumaguete, bawat kanto ata kumakain kame ng friend ko. we ate at city burger, sarap ng inato! malambot yung chicken at malasa to think na hindi ako fan ng chicken naubos ko halos masimot ko un pecho! also we tried mamia's, sansrival (we bought sansrival and few of their pastries for pasalubong) kalimutan ko na un name nung iba pa naman kinainan hehe then we went to siquijor (happy mistake lang kase we bought tickets which we thought would bring us to apo island, no regrets kame ;p) we stayed at cocogrove, value na for the money kase okay ang amenities nila. too bad, hindi kami nakapagswim sa dagat kase  malalaki ang alon pero okay na din kase 2 naman ang pool nila! we were supposed to buy gayuma (we thought it's a good souvenir) but once we saw the beach, we decided to stay na lang at the resort
