i just wanna ask what are the best pills u've taken? do all pills have side effects? what are they?
and do i need to consult first an ob before taking it? how young pwede gumamit? actually. i asked my ob na, and she tld me im too young for that

Hi!

I've been a Micropill user for 9 years already. Last month my period came in as little as a tablespoon of water. Ganun kakonti. I went to an OB and have a PT done twice,. Both negative. My period just came (  ) and  I am thinking of changing pills since 4 years lang pala dapat ginagamit ang pills ng straight. HIyang na ako sa Micropill and its very affordable naman pero maybe its time magpalit na ako ng pills.

What would you suggest?

Pa-join mga sis... I'm using Diane35 din...although it's really pricey okay naman yung effects niya sa akin... it was prescribed by my OB...Before I had so many cystic pimples kaya nga nagpapaderma din ako ...pero ngayon nalessen na siya as in...cystic pimples are a sign of having polycystic ovaries daw sabi ng OB ko kya yun yung first impression niya pero good thing na cleared naman yung suspicion na yun when she analyzed the result of transvaginal ultrasound....it's just hormonal imbalance lang daw pala talaga so she prescribed me this...pang 4th pack ko na ngayon ng diane 35

pagdating sa mga pills...hiyangan lang talaga...it doesn't mean na maraming good reviews sa diane35 eh that would fit you....you should ask your OB what's suitable for you....my friend ako na althea ang pinagamit sa kanya ng OB niya, it turns out na hindi siya hiyang so her OB switch her pills to Diane35 unfortunately, di pa rin siya hiyang....

earlier today after doing the deed, nakita ng partner ko na may butas yung condom..  my lmp was january 31... i went to my ob, she said hindi daw sya nagbibigay ng emergency pill, hanap daw ako ng ibang ob who gives it... i read sa previous thread sis bronze took marvelon as an emergency pill.. kaya nung hindi ako nabigyan ng ob ko, i bought marvelon and took a pill... i don'y know kung tama ang naging desisyon ko to take marvelon, rather than look for another ob..

loyalist ako ng micropil. last year nga lang suerp konti ng period ko. konting konti lang kaya yung sumunod na month hindi ako nagtake ng micro & walang contact talaga. nung dumating period ko eh super happy talaga ako. i was palnning to change my pills nun pero since hindi na ako nakabili & hindi ko rin alam ang ipapalit ko eh stick nalang rin ako sa micropil. basta 1 pack nalagn talaga ang uubusin ko & i will not extend into another pack pag hindi ko feel if kelan ang dating ng period ko eh...ganun ginawa ko noon eh.

i'm using yaz pill for 3yrs now.i'm 19 yrs old now.my OB said na its good for me kasi im so young pa daw para sa ibang pills. ok naman. nung first week ko taking the pills medyo nagkaroon ako ng migraine dahil siguro nag aadjust pa yong katawan ko. after that week wala na. ok na ko sa yaz.  wala din akong pimples and nag gglow yong skin ko. mahal nga lang yong yaz 600+.

i hope i won't get pregnant for using marvelon as an emergency pill... since i took it that day, tinuloy tuloy ko lang.. uubusin ko na yung pack.

there are two kinds of micropil... the other one has folic something or iron daw... the plain one costs around 42-45 and the one with folic or iron something is around 80-90. im using the plain one since dun ako hiyang.

i dont get dysmenorrhea & my skin is clear naman...

Una Althea pero nag-Acne ako bonggang bongga. Tama kayo dun sa hiyangan. Diane35 ako last year natutuwa ako dun kasi nawawalan ako ng appetite somewhat hi hi. Pero nag-stop ako dahil TTC kami ni mister. Gusto daw sana humabol sana kung boy dahil may 2 girls na kami. Pag nakabuo last na yun at either Althea o papatali na ako

sisses help. bakit ganon nabasa ko sa leaflet ng diane na after ng first pack mo, 7days na wala ka iinumin na pills, tas sa ika 8th day mo tsaka kana uminom.. tama diba?

yung ob ko ang directions niya for me after ng 1st pack ko, once na dumating na period ko magtake nako agad ng pill... bakit wala ako 7days na tulad nung nakalagay sa leaflet... hindi siya nagreply sa [textspeak!] ko eh... please reply sisses..

by the way dunno if may kinalaman ang pills, pero i have a friend na nagtatake ng pills then nagstop,tapos bigla nabuntis, namatay yung bata sa tyan palang niya..ano ba tawag dun? parang nabugok ba yun? something like that at yun nga sinabi daw ng OB niya,important daw na after magpills at magbibaby, kailangang after few months at impt ang magpapapsmear..

Ganyan nangyari sa akin last month after i gave birth sa eldest ko nung 2003,nag pills na ako for more than 3 years continous yun then nag stop for 2 years kasi nag abroad asawa ko,resume ulit sa pills. after more than 1 year,finally we decided na sundan na si eldest. august 2010 ako nag stop,january 2011 nabuntis...at 8 weeks nakunan ako.

@sis laila- yes oral contraceptive talaga ang pang gamot sa PCOS. You have to take it for 6 months then balik ka ulit sa OB mo for check up.

Nung nagkahormonal imbalance ako pinainum sa akin is Yasmin. Unfortunately wala syang bisa, irreg parin ako. So switch ako ng ob ko sa diane + duphaston. Sa dianne nagkaroon ako ng water retention, yung legs ko eh parang legs ng buntis tapos di parin nya na correct menstrual cycle ko. Nag gain weight pa ako. So tinigil ako ng OB ko sa diane at solely duphaston nalang pinapainum nya sa akin. Ang kwenta ng duphaston is pinaparegla nya ako. Ten tablets sya for ten days then in a couple of days rereglahin ka na. Yun lang iniinom ko for 2 years kaso di parin regular mens ko. Then nag stop ako for a couple of years. Then one day tuloy tuloy ako nag vevertigo hindi habang nakatayo kundi pag nahiga ako at lilipat ako from one side to the other. My gosh kasuka. So pa check ako sa bagong OB ko sa Capitol Med, she ran me through some test then ang results is me PCOS ako. Resulta ng matanda na daw ako eh irreg parin ako. Tapos kinuwento ko lahat ng pills ko at nirecommend nya sa akin ang Mercilon. For the first time in my life naging regular ako for a year na. ngayun hintayin ko nalang maalis mga cyst ko sa ovary ko.

^alam ko sis wala. nag pa ganyan din ako kaso di pa ako nag pipills nun. wala naman sinabi na dapat di ka nagpipills. kasi yung boung set ng injection na yan eh halos aabot ng isang taon din.
