Since we have a topic on books we haven't finished reading, do you have books you've bought then later you realized why you bought that in the first place and haven't had time to read it?

I can only come up with one answer: Anathem by Neal Stephenson

The book appealed to me so kahit ang kapal niya at kasing bigat na siya ng 1 encyclopedia, I still bought it. Ngayon, takot ako simulan, parang ang hirap niya i-digest haha

  -- I bought Hamlet, and Romeo and Juliet before. Mga HS ako. Until now hindi ko nasisimulan. Ewan ko ba, nung una excited ako pero ngayon, hindi na. hehe. Isa pang book na hindi ko masimulan, yung financial accounting book ko. hehe. kakatamad kasing tignan.

On topic: Everything Is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer. I reach for it and put it back almost immediately. Doesn't appeal to me, parang chore siya basahin.

Odd Thomas parang nasusuka ako while reading it kahit pilitin ko na just get through the first chapter maybe it'll be good when you go past it pero i'm just stuck at a certain part. Excited pa naman ako basahin kasi first Dean Koontz book ko sya. I'll get back to it when i'm done with the one i'm reading now.
