@janzphynx: we're all praying for your baby.

^haynako medyo naasar nga ako dun e kasi my exact question is "is it true that one of the side effects of epidural is being forgetful?" and tumawa pa talaga ::) mga tao dito minsan masarap ibalik sa kinder para magkamanners ::) 2 of my aunts kasi had epidural and sila na mismo nagsabi kung kakayanin ko wag nalang kasi di nila type ang side effect nga daw, aside from the back pains na rin ???

i dont know if this is the right thread to ask..
nanganak na kasi ko last march 5 but im still in pain sa tahi ko kahit im NSD..

by the way i'll post my labor story kapag fully recover na ako..
i gave birth via NSD with saddle block painless..

^^Sis chrisane, alam mo bang dinalhan pa ako ng nanay ko ng arinola all the way here in Australia kasi mabilis daw yung makapagpababa ng swelling sa tahi? Anyway, try mo lang it might help.

They even freeze the napkins, kahit sa hospital itinuro sa amin yung communal fridge where you can freeze your maternity pads :)  Tapos they also use witch hazel pads -- eto di ko alam anong itsura talaga at anong purpose but I suppose it's the same rationale as the napkin with alcohol.

Hope that helps.  Wala namang mawawala kung ita-try mo :)

By the way, na-check na din ba yan ng OB or midwife mo?

sis jhansphynx,
sana ok na si baby soon...

Mga sis,
ask ko lang about hair down there. Tinatanggal nga ba yun kapag normal and cs?
How about yung hair sa tummy kung makapal din? Nagkaroon kasi ako ng hair line, during this pregnancy, naka straight line sa tummy ko, ang kapal...
Am thibking magpa wax down there at bka pati sa tummy pro tatakot ako bka masaktan ako sobra eh mag contract ako...

Next topic:.
Kapag cs ba need parin mag breathing or lamaze lesson, childbirth classes?

First time po eh...

how far along are you?

I forgot if they did shave my hair nung nagla-labor ako.. Normal delivery ako.. pag CS baka hindi kelangan?

@ glamorosa_09: wala na kasi yung contact ko dun sa wax na home service. but you can look up the wax thread from let's primp and prettify. meron dun home service, meron sa laybare and another one in the fort yata. may mga reviews dun ng waxing salons and waxers na rin.

@ Cherry143: hindi ko sure kung nisheshave din for cs pero baka kasi ang bikini cut ng cs is right above the pube line yata. best to ask your OB ng step-by-step procedure. if i'm not mistaken, iba iba din ang procedure for cs. parang normal din.

@ Grayce: maalala ko lang no. most of the people who make tawa at other people's comments are normally ignorant people trying to cover it up. tignan mo:

- "nagbebreastfeed ka? di ba pangmahirap lang yun?" - hahaha!
- hahaha!
- from my ob, dahil tinanong ko sya kung safe at kasama ko ang mama ko: "magpapawax ka? ok lang." turns to my mom, "mga bata talaga ngayon, o. ano naman kaya ang feeling nung kalbo?" - hahaha! gusto kong sabihin, mas masarap kaysa itry mong mag-ahit ngayon.
- because i posted my emergency preparedness project last year in my blog, a friend told me that i'm OA. sino kaya ang OA ngayon?

madami pa. and my examples did not literally have a "hahaha!" always but you know that when these words are said, pagtalikod mo pinagtatawanan ka nila. pero when you make an informed choice and do your own research, we all know who's got the last laugh.

- hi sis, d nakita yung butas during ultrasound wala din problem pang pinakikinggan yung heartbeat nya. accordinf sa pedia nya, normal daw yung butas na yung pagkapanganak pero nagsasara sya within 12 to 24 hours yung kay baby hindi nagsara.

to all: thank you very much mga sis for the prayers. as of now nasa hospital pa si baby, pero tinanggal na oxygen nya kahapon. schedule nya ng 2d echo today, praying and hoping na clear na sya at due to preterm lang yung butas. if ever pwede na namin sya iuwi tom (sana). thanks ulit mga sis.
