Tried both Dermatix and Contractubex pero parang ang tagal nila mag work pareho Nakaka frustrate minsan, tinatakpan ko nalang ng band aid if i wear shorts or skirts.

hello sissies, okay lang ba ang Contractubex or Bio Oil or Dermatix sa toddler? may 9stitches baby ko, and nagheheal na sya. (2weeks ago yung accident) pwede ko na ba pahiran ng mga yan, or dalhin ko muna sa Pedia/Derma? I asked her Suregeon na, but hindi daw dapat ako maniwala. nyek. hayaan ko na lang mag heal, tutal bata pa naman? kaso nagke-keloid dun sa part/dulo ng tahi. what am i gonna do? help me naman. thanks.

Sis @misskurdapia I think it would be fine naman if you use Bio Oil or Dermatix for the scar. As far as I know, Dermatix is silicone-based lang naman which helps in cell regeneration so okay lang, pero it'd be best pa rin if you consult your derma. Bio-oil, not sure kung anong major component that helps in scar healing.


Sis @Sushisundance I feel you.  I've been dealing with post inflammatory pigmentation and sunken scars sa face since I had chickenpox early this year. Naglighten na kahit pano yung sa body pero yung sa face mahirap maalis kasi deep yung mga scars ko. Based on my research, best option pa for pockmarks sa face is Scar revision na talaga. Sa dark spots naman sa body, skin peeling or bleaching products, HQ cream, consult your derma kasi di sila normally over-the-counter.

Nagstop na rin ako magcontratubex, nagiging itchy yung face ko pag naglalagay ako nito.

Nagtry ako gumamit ng erase sa scars ko sa arms and legs, and after ilang days nagppeel yung skin ko, like maliit lang yung scar ko pero ngayon ang laki na nun area na mapula huhuhu. nagstop na rin ako mga 1wk ago, pero yung iba ngayon palang nagsstart mamula. parang nabubuhay ulit yung dating scars ko, meron ako ilang yrs ago na scar na, pero ngayon namumula dahil sa erase.

Didn't have much luck in using Erase either. Masyado strong yung tret + HQ combination, reaction: skin would peel after several application, but the peeled skin tends to be red. Best way to go is to bleach na lang using whitening soap, Papaya or Placenta soap. Effective pero gradual ang result. CP marks would be gone (not visible) naman after some time, pero yun lang it could take 1 - 2 yrs.  Ako almost 9 months na rin since nagkaCP pero visible pa rin esp sa back/trunk area.  Wait, wait lang. Pero if di tlaga maglighten totally after longer than 1 yr, back up ko maginject na lang ng gluta para mawala, hoping na mas drastic ang effect nito.

Hi sis. Haven't tried using Glyderm pa, pero you could read reviews siguro or ask a doc sa mga online ask-experts website, like Realself.com... As for me kasi, from what I've read online, stretchmarks can be improved but not totally eliminated, same sa mga scars, and mga most effective treatment na talaga is either deep peel or laser treatment. As for the scars sa legs, same goes din, skin peeling or laser treatment. I suggest hanap ka ng kilalang derma na mahusay talaga sa skin peeling...yung proven and tested na ng karamihan. Nakakatakot na kasi ngayon, andami nagsulputang clinic, puro promos... Hayyys. Can't  blame them, marketing strategy. Niwei sis, sorry! Napahaba ng kwento.. Goodluck on your journey!

tried it. wala naman effect masyado effect on lightening scars. though hindi na dry yung skin ko pero matagal sila maglighten. siguro tyagaan talaga. i changed to cocoa butter from body shop na lang, tsaka keri na yan. i sometimes use bb cream from etude house na lang to cover up. pero OT na yun.

contratubex also worked for my keloid basta consistent sa paglagay. Thrice a day ko nilalagayan. Hindi smooth yung scar ko but at least it's not raised anymore.

Palmer's skin therapy oil still works the best for my dark scars. Ang dami kong dark marks sa legs after ng mountain climbing namin dati so I just mixed the palmers with the lotion para sa buong legs na siya di na kailangan isa-isahin. It took 2 months para mawala totally. I find it lighter and non-greasy compared to bio-oil kaya pinamigay ko na bio-oil ko. Naglalagay din pala ako ng sebo de macho before the palmers. Masmabilis nawala scars ko with this combo.

May keloid ako sa knee since bata pa ito eh hinde naman noticeable unless matitigan talaga pero syempre nakakaconscious. White na keloid kasi medyo nakaumbok. Ano kaya maganda? Yung contratubex or bio oil? Baka kasi lalo mamuti and it will end up na mas mapansin. Nakakatakot.

Gagana ba ang contratubex kahit na mahigit 10 yrs na ang keloid?

I had allergies sa right leg at right thigh ko na nag iwan ng scars noong February. Since then, problema ko na paano ko i-lighten mga scars ko. Nawalan na ako ng confidence mag dress at skirts. Dati nga everyday ko iniiyakan. Oo mababawa lang na problema pero kasi nakakababa naman ng self-esteem di ba. Naiinggit lang ako tuwing nakakita ako ng mga girls na makinis mga legs.

Nag apply ako ng Erase. Hindi ko nagustuhan kasi nasunog lang scars ko. Lalo nag dark. I used sebo de macho at HHN SBO pero wa epek naman sa paglighten. Kung may effect man siguro, sobrang bagal.

Nung ginamit ko Skinmate Shark Oil, doon ko napansin na medyo naglighten nga scars ko. Nagpeel ang upper layer ng balat. Hindi pa pumapantay sa kulay ng legs ko so konting tiis pa. Gradual lang kasi ang paglighten. Ok na ako doon basta sure na mawawala.

Heto now skin regimen ko para malighten mga scars:

Sa umaga after maligo, mag lotion ako ng Kojie San sa buong body. Iyong walang spf. Tapos apply ng sebo de macho o HHN SBO sa mga scars. Kung lalabas naman ako, apply ng sunblock.

Sa gabi, papahid ako ng calamansi sa mga scars ko. Wait ako ng 30 minutes bago maligo ulit. After maligo, saka papahid ng skinmate shark oil sa mga scars. Pag naging itchy o nag peel, stop muna ako. Apply muna HHN SBO at cetaphil para mabawasan ang kati.

Kung di man maiwasan magdress o skirt, nilalagyan ko na lang ng sally hansen mga legs ko para matakpan mga scars.
