^ contractubex gamit ko sa tahi ko ( CS ) pero hindi kasi ako nagaapply, si hubby nagaapply sakin and sabi niya anlaki na ng improvement. one month na since I gave birth. Nung binigyan akong go signal ni ob na pwede na raw pahiran ng contractubex sinimulan na agad namin. btw, nagamit ko na rin contractubex sa sugat from an accident and nagimprove itsura. effective talaga contractubex basta apply it after the wound dries up, effective siya sa  mga bagong wound. sa mga matagal na sugat not sure.

hi mga sis! pa join ako dito. i have childhood scars din due to insect bites. most of them are already gone dahil sa tagal BUT i still get new ones since hindi naman nawawala ang mga insekto! anyway, just recently, meron na naman ako mga new scars. i have 2 kinds, 1 is purely dark brown and the other is white with dark brown on the outside. i only wear pants dahil nakakahiya talaga lumabas na maraming barya! baka may bigla magpapalit sa akin! you know naman na maraming mapang-mata when it comes to things like this. i mean, hindi mo maiaalis sa kanila na isipin na baka sa "maduming" lugar nakatira kahit na hindi. kaya i'd rather hide it than see some people glare at me for being so "kapal" if i wear shorts.

right now, i am in deep trouble kasi my friend asked me to be a bridesmaid and the gown is above the knee. i can't say no due to some reasons. so naisip ko, bahala na ang diyosa ng mga whitening/scar removing products! the wedding is this april so december pa lang inumpisahan ko na gawan ng paraan scars ko (new and old). dati, when i was still in school, i have tried a few products to remove my scars but nothing really worked for me so i stopped stressing myself about it. matagal na ko nag give-up na magsuot ng mga shorts/skirts which means, i have stopped treating my scars na matagal na din. kaso nga since i have a wedding to attend to, para naman hindi mapahiya hubby ko, i'll do something about it. i have to do something about it. so, last december, i tried to use kojic soap and garnier body whitening repairing milk lotion. so far, all my new scars lightened. siguro mga 50% lighter na compared before na wala ako ginagawa at all. i would still continue doing this regimen habang buhay ako dahil maganda talaga effect ng two products that i mentioned. actually, sa lahat ng na-try ko, eto lang yung dalawang products na may immediate effect. the first few days that i have used them, my scars dried-up. as in nag-balat sila then nag-lighten. i have been using these products just 2 weeks ago (every after bath which is twice a day) yet there is a big improvement on my scars. 50% less darker na sila. and since effective, i would continue using them since it didn't cause me any irritation or whatsoever. it jsut gave me the results that i need. come april, if the scars are still visible, i would probably use the sally hansen leg makeup. at least, by then, i am pretty sure na madali ko sila ma-coconceal.

^ i can relate sis. i miss wearing skirts at work and even short shorts kapag umaalis. nagkaron kasi ako ng scars because of boils. as in sa right leg... hindi ko nga alam kung kaya ng gluta ito eh...

products mentioned here may not be effective to some but may be effective to others as the reaction of our skin differs. some may have contracted an allergy to the products that worked for the others. we have different skin sensitivities and that is one of the reasons why all of us can't claim on the effectiveness of a product. we just have to be patient in trying products that would work for us. magastos pero if we're really aiming for a scar-free skin, we will invest on it. i hope all of us can find the perfect product para naman mag boost na self esteem nating lahat! cheers to everyone!

Hello mga sis, may nakapag try na ba dito ng silicone sheets for scars? I read on Realself.com one doctor suggested the use of silicone scar sheets. Nabasa ko din sa ibang websites na effective siya for new scars but also works in fading old scars.

Same tayo ng mga problem sisses. 9 yrs old ko pa ata na naremember na nakapagshorts ako sa labas. 10+ hanggang ngayon, NEVER pa ako nag short or mini-skirt. Minsan, Umiiyak talaga ako kasi NAIINIS ako na hindi man lang ako makapag shorts or makapag-swimming kasama ng friends ko. Well, hindi naman ako lumalabas noong bata ako, allergic scars lang talaga kasi allergic ako sa seafood tapos kain pa din ako ng kain. Hahaha!

I've tried several products:
-Dermatix. (Walang difference, nasayangan lang ako)
-Maxipeel. (MERON kaso sobrang drying)
-Bleaching
   -Bleaching DIY
   -Bleaching (Let's face it)

Kung gusto mo ng MABILISAN na pag lighten ng scars, BLEACHING ang ma-rerecommend ko.
-Bleaching DIY (Mas mura kaso sobrang Hassle)
-Bleaching (Let's face it!) Same lang siya ng effect sa DIY kaso ang mahal. Butas bulsa haha

Mabilis siya mag lighten pero di talaga siya nawawala kaso kailangan maintenance eh. As in dapat every week, tapos drying pa siya and kailangan before ka mag-pants dapat may leegings sa loob. So ayun, ginagawa ko lang to kapag kailangan na talagang mag gown, mag short or skirt. Hussle kasi pero mag lilighten talaga. Pero sisses, ito yung ma-rerecomment ko ha not sure kung okay din to sa iba. I hope that helps!:)

Nakuha ko un dahil sa allergy sa seafoods, na nagumpisa lang sa 2 pantal na pinagrabe pa ng wrong type of ointment na nilagay ko, naging sobrang laki na pantal na. I tried cebo de macho pero it only made it worse, it became darker at bigger. So i researched about scar removing creams and found the HIRUSCAR thread that indicated that one of the users just received free samples and tried them out. So I also asked them for a free sample so i could try it out. And they generously gave me not 1 but 5 tubes of 5g Hiruscar ointment. So I started using it last january 11,2013 and everyday i see results. My scar became smaller and lighter. It has greatly improved and now it's not that visible anymore.

my ob suggested dermatix kasi nga after 1 month ng pagka-CS ko ang pangit ng scar ko. so far ok naman siya...nag flatten yung scar ko ang naging halos kakulay na ng balat

same problem here since high school pa dahil s mga allergy and childhood scar. sobrang adventurous ako nung grade school sumasama s mga mountain climbing and any gubat adventure kaya di maiwasan masugatan s mga slides and worst is natalon sa malaking bato at naiiscrap ang skin.

i've tried YSA chemical peel (10k 5sessions) s legs ko nadagdagan lang kasi nagreact ang solution and naallergy ako, nakamot habang tulog kaya aun nadagdagan pa, then after 4months just this march nagtry ako ng VIVID Essential Oil, mas maganda actually ang effect kasi buong balat ang natatanggal compare dun sa YSA chemical peel pero same reaction (DI PA AKO NADALA) nangati, di namalayang nakamot while sleeping kaya aun dagdag scar pa at NAIYAK na talaga ako this time kasi nagworst pa ang scar at dumami.

SCARS! problema ko to ever since bata pa ako. ang pangit ko na nga lang ang dami ko pang coins at keloids sa binti at kahit pa gumamit ako ng whitening soaps and bleaching lotions andun pa din sila very visible pa din. kaya mula pa noon hindi man lang ako makapag shorts or palda. nakakainggit yung mga makikinis. hindi ko rin naman maaford magpaderma. habang buhay ko ng dadalhin ang problemang to haaayyysss!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had keloidal scar on my right knee before. I asked my derma to do scar revision to the scar, but sabi nya hindi pwedeng scar revision ang scars sa knees since movable ang knees and hindi magiging maganda ang results ng revision. So my derma injected steroids, inabot rin ng almost a year kasi monthly lang the injection. Then she gave me Xeragel ointment; after 6 months, totally nag-flat na my scar, but may darkness pa rin. So now, my derma did nano peel on my knee. Ngayon, ok na scar ko. But I still apply Xeragel ointment once a day since sabi ng derma ko, keloidal scars sometimes recur. Ayoko na kasing bumalik sa dati ang scar ko.

Grabe ulitin ko na naman pag backread mula simula.. Kasi nadapa ako habang naglalakad
(yes naglalakad toinks) at nabutas yung pants ko sa left knee hehe shucks imagine gano kalala yung sugat.. Yung right knee ko, walang kasugat sugat, nagkapasa lang.. Nung april 15 ata.. Hayy open wound sya eh, anyway mejo wala ng sugat.. Scar na to, color violet sila, may sugat din sa likod ng left ankle ko (bale sa harap haha) kinakabahan ako baka mag keloid ang laki, size ng piso di ko alam kung dermatix or contractubex.. Saka ko na problemahin yung dark spots ko from eczema, na mejo naglilighten naman na on their own volition.... Life. Haha

Ay yung eraSe pala na tnry ko sa dark spots ko, nag react ng ndi maganda, napadami kasi ata roll ko, nagkamot lang and nagsugat lang lalo.. Altho, pagaling na rin sila now..

nagpa wax ako sa mustache a couple of days ago. after nun mahapdi but then i didnt mind it kasi akala ko normal lang. night came, nagkasugat pala! as in parang an inch long sugat on my right upper lip area.. ngayon nag dry up na sya and slowly ng natatanggal [textspeak!] balat.. what should i use para di magdarken to at mawala na.. pls help!

^ sis, nangyari sa akin yan when I had my legs waxed before I had laser hair removal. Na-burn ako and nagka-scab some parts of my legs. What my derma gave me was Bactroban cream while there was still fresh burn until mag-fall off ang scab. She also told me not to take out the scab forcefully, hayaan lang na mag-fall ang scab. There were scars where there were burns, but I had a really good whitening soap, cream and lotion given by my derma. In around 3 months, hindi na halata halos the scars.

^ Bactroban cream is available in drugstores. Since may scab ka pa, just apply it muna until the scab falls off.
