sis, try mo rin si Dr. Veronica ng Future Med. GP rin sya at napaka accommodating. Hindi matao dun sa clinic kaya hindi ka magaantay ng matagal unlike sa Qatar Med kaya ang tendency mabilisan checkup na ke Dr. Pulvera.

Thanks sis, pwede rin pala siyang OB, nabangit niya na nagtake siya ng exam or may license siya to act as OB rin..

Hi Sisses!  I would like to ask your opinion as you girls are already more familiar with living and working in Qatar. I'm currently working as a team leader right now with an above average pay but not really that much growth (and im not really seeing myself staying that long with my current company). I recently got an offer to work for a new hotel which will be opening in September this year in Doha as a team lead too but with a much lower salary (around 10K difference from my net pay). Even with the difference in pay, I'm still interested in the offer because of the experience and opportunities as I will be part of the start up group for this big hotel.

I can probably manage the pay as I'm thinking that I'll still be able to save as I won't be going out as often when I get there. The salary btw that was given to me ranges from QR2,500-2,800 plus free lodging and transportation. Not sure if this comes with a meal allowance yet.  Is this enough?

^i think its enough.
if you will be working in the hotel, meals are provided while on duty. so you'll just have to take care of your toiletries, food while not on duty etc..etc..and some other luho 
what about vacation? is it yearly or every 2 yrs?

every 2 years daw. But are the opportunities really that good in Qatar?

opportunities depends on your company.
 
since you will be coming from an agency in the philippines, it depends on your company if they will allow you to have better opportunities in another company. means nakatali ka sa kanila.

meron akong friend nag umpisa as reservation officer sa isang hotel dito, then nagkaron ng opportunity at naging sales secretary, then GM's secretary, nag aral sya mag drive at nakabili ng sariling car, ngayon nagulat ako sales executive na. maganda yung company nya kasi tumaas ang position nya. but i cant say na lahat ng hotel ganun dito sa qatar.

mostly yung mga galing agencies pagdating dito nagugulat dahil ang baba ng salary offered sa kanila compared to those who are locally hired. or compared to another people with the same work.

Thanks for your reply sis. sa totoo lang, nabababaan nga ako sa salary na inoffer sa akin. Team Lead position naman ren yun. Salary wise, I'm earning more enough naman here, the possibilities lang ang nag aattract sa akin to accept the offer in Qatar.

^Leana mga malls ang pasyalan dito lalo pag summer  pwede din sa  'the pearl' at sa 'katara' mga malls rin yan pero luxury malls.

thank you mga sis sa reply regarding sa places na pwede mapuntahan sa doha.. eid lang kasi ang complete kami na family to go for a quick vacation..same lang din ba as dubai ang doha?

another thing, paano ang procedures pala sa pagkuha ng tourist visa? we have na the hotel booking and flight tickets.

mga sis, may maii recommend ba kayong dr (eye specialist). need ko kasi magpacheck up.. my right eye is having a problem..biglang lumabo ang painingin ko.gusto ko sana maagapan..TIA!! =)
