bukas dapat dadalin ko yung anak ko, 3 year old, sa Ophthalmologist and hindi ko alam na meron pala yung mga bata, baby, toddler.

my son's eyes got irritated while watching tv.  hindi naman dati.  suspetsa ko is masyadong makulay ang color ng tv.  mamaya iseset up ko sa mas hindi makulay.

pero my mother in law still insist to bring my son to a doctor.  so eto.  i would check on those today, so i can bring my son to an eye doctor.

me too looking for a good pedia-optha... my 7yr old son's right eye suddenly drooped after experiencing dizziness for about 3days... ad then [textspeak!] eyeball nya dsnt move normal... as in hirap gumalaw... weve been to optha (not pedia) and neuro... done with CT Scan, MRI and RNS (repetitive nerve stimulation) but all negative results... im kinda getting frustrated na kasi almost 1month na at di pa din bumabalik sa normal eye ng son ko... did some research and i guess may nerve palsy ang anak ko and we need a second opinion from a good pedia-optha talaga... naawa na ako sa anak ko hes been drinking diff meds na but still wala pa din even the neurologist cant give concrete answer pa kung ano talaga makaka cure sa son ko

I brought my 9-month old daughter to the pedia-ophtha weekend before last. -50 na ang eyes niya, highly likely to wear glasses. It runs in the family kasi.

Dr bolinao at american eye institute, greenbelt 5 or shang mall. Pwede medicard.

^ sis, that's right. No cash out kami for the check-up. I just had to show the card in baby's name and fill out the hmo form.

^ no prob. did you set an appointment na? I like her, malambing sa kids. Si J ba? Baka they will dilate her eyes. Our next check-up is on feb pa, 6 months after the last one.

Angelic_blue8, i went to dr norma fajardo also at asian eye institute. Specialization niya kasi lazy eye, which i have. I went to him once lang, ok naman din siya for me but i found a better ophtha for myself at american eye institute naman so sa kanila na din ako nagpa-refer to a pedia ophtha for my daughter. Had i not been satisifed with dr bolinao when we went to see her, dr fajardo was my next choice. Di na kasi kami bumalik sa asian eye kasi my dad wasnt happy with dr harvey, parang hard sell daw sa cataract procedure.

im a newbie po..
just want to ask po kasi my daughter is just 1 month old pa lang,, i noticed na yung left eye nya nagluluha at nagmumuta non stop po at madami.. im so worried.. pina check up ko na po sya sa pedia nya at naresitahan ng erythromysin oinment sa eyes ginamit ko po for 7days yet no improvement or hindi po nawala.. shes turning two months pa lang please reccomend a optha pedia for her.. and machecheck na po ba eyes nya if ever? thank you po..

question lang mga sis, pag ba nirefer sa pediatric optha, yun sa initial consultation nagagawa na ba usually lahat ng tests? and on that initial consultation, all in na ba yung pf fee sa kung ano mang tests ang gagawin nya to check baby's eyesight?

^ Kay Dr. Santiago, may eye drops to dilate the pupils before the examination then when the pupils are sufficiently dilated, she checks the child's eyes using her tool - I don't know how you call it pero may special lens siya to check the retina (ito yata yung pang-check ng grado ng mata) and later on, when the children are older, she makes them read letters and numbers on the wall, in addition to the retina inspection.  Walang add-on sa PF of Php1,200 for the whole procedure.

my son is 13mos old and diagnose with astigmatism...pinagsalamin na siya (left is 250 and right is 100), but hindi ako masyadong satisfied sa examination gusto ko sana pa check sa other optha... but sa check up niya is St. Lukes (Delmundo Eye-Clinic) ang glass nya worth almost 7k. Sinusuot naman niya salamin but many times tinatangal pa rin niya... any suggestions mga sis

Di ko matandaan kung magkano kami inabot sa 1st check up parang nasa 1600+ ata kasama yung patak sa mata, last june pa kasi yun e...then di ko matandaan kung kelan kami pinapabalik kung sept or oct, may seminar kasi sila for 1month kaya d ko mababalik for check up... magtetext na lang ako uli

Sis not sure for pf,  were using health card kasi. But you can call Ms Zeny(secretary) 771-9253/54
