^ Masarap naman, not so sweet.  For the price eh okay na siya.  The icing is royal icing tapos may sprinkles.  Choco chiffon ito, which is different from the cake na choco with yema filling (pound cake yung sa cake).

You can buy there any time para ma-taste mo kung okay for you.  Laging merong cupcakes sa store.

My husband dislikes my KFC snack box idea. Too greasy daw plus the chicken and fries are not good eaten cold.

I inquired with Shakey's earlier. tama ba Marose, to avail the b1t1 thru the pizzanatic card, you should have it for delivery? Hindi Puwede for pickup yung pizza? I dislike the idea that I don't have any control of the time. Paano if ma-late the delivery. The school is pretty strict on the eating time. Also, roughly for how many kids is the party size? There are about 36 students in her class. kasya na kaya 6 party sizes? The lady from shakey's said Baka kulangin daw

^ Ally, yes, the buy 1 take 1 pizza is for delivery only if you use the Pizzanatic card.  I pre-ordered the pizzas last Sunday at the Shakey's near the school of my kids.  I emphasized to the person I spoke with to be punctual sa delivery.  So nakalagay talaga sa instructions niya on the paper where my pizza order was written "10 am sharp delivery" hehe.   I also called Shakey's around 9:20 am right before I left the house to check if they are preparing my order na.   True enough, on time si Kuya.

Maybe you can do the same or specify the delivery time to 15 minutes earlier than eating time to make sure it gets to the school on time.

I asked Shakey's to slize the pizza into squares para easy for the kids to hold instead of the triangles.  For the party size, that translates to 16 squares.  Some kids had 1 or 2 squares lang.  Others, like my kids, had more squares. 

I think 6 party sizes = 96 squares, should be enough for around 20 kids.

sis chinita8 ... yung mini cupcakes you might want to check out kay Sweet Affair.  We ordered from them 1 ounce cupcakes, mas malaki ng konti sa macaroons.

^^ Almost P3,000 for 10 pizzas (sinama ko sa headcount the teachers and non-teaching staff sa school) and P455 for the mini-cupcakes.  The free soda that came with the pizza order went to the teachers and staff.  I don't like serving soda or sweet drinks to kids so I just asked the staff to give them water.

you can also try to contact a pedrico's pizza branch for bulk orders. fave kasi ng eldest ko ito kaya we're including pedrico's mini pizzas on our schoool party menu. i've talked to their branch in market2 a few weeks ago and they can have 25pcs mini pizza ready daw by 10am, just the right time for us to pick up the pizzas while driving off to school. limited lang kasi time ng school party nila kaya if di maubos during snack time, madali mai-uuwi ng mga kids yung pizza. and it cost 39 each lang:)

Mga sis, gusto din ng panganay ko sa 8th birthday niya eh party sa school.

First time ko to, so paano ba, pinapakain ninyo din ba yung buong Grade 1? Or yung mga kaklase lang talaga ng kids ninyo? I'm thinking baka naman kasi mainggit yung nasa ibang section, LOL.

And kasama lahat ng teachers at non staff ang counting ninyo ng buong elementary level ba yan mga sis, o ng grade ng anak ninyo?

^better ask your kid's teacher for the do's and dont's. Nung nasa small school pa daughter ko, I provided food for all students (15 students Lang naman). This year, bawal mag combine classrooms so I'll only provide food or her classmates plus her teacher and aides

My son is turning 3 in August and since hindi pa siya pumapasok sa school e never pa ako nag school party. But next year will be his first and super excited na ako. hehe

Pero sa mga pamangkin ko, nag party na kami sa school dati.

Here are the tips and suggestions that might help you.

1. If whole day and pasok ng anak mo, Ask the teacher If how long yung alloted na time for the party.

Then, kapag alam mo na kung gano katagal yung party, then you can start to decide If you want it to be a merienda or a lunch maybe.

2. THEME - Dapat kung ano ang gusto ng anak mo.

3. Food - I suggest na naka styro na dapat yung food kapag dinala sa school. Mas convinient kasi lalo na kung konti lang naman yung oras na binigay ng teacher for the party.

EXample: Spaghetti and chicken na naka styro na. Then, tetra pack juice and hamburger or hotdog on a stick.

4. Souvenirs and give aways - Depends sa theme mo din. But since lahat ng invited e mga classmates niya, better kung something na magagamit sa school (crayons, pens, etc).

5. DECORATIONS - balloons and a simple Happy Birthday Banner will do. =)

to add to kiz_me1109's suggestion, instead of styro, try using na lang yung bento box na made of paper na leakproof/waterproof na yung loob. environment friendly pa to. i was able to buy these at pasig wet market @ P3.50 each lang marami to dun sa area ng mga nagbebenta ng paper plates.. i just printed themed na label on a bond paper and sticked it on the bento to give it a personalized touch. dali lang gawin and mas cheap pa.

It's my daughter's school party on Monday.

For food, I ordered pizza pedrico instead from shakey's. Easier distribution since we're only allotted 30mins. Plus if they can't finish it, they can easily bring it home.

For the cake, Hindi na ko nagpa-customized. With classes suspensions happening left and right because of the weather, ayokong gumising sa Monday to find out na suspended ang classes. Ok Lang sana if we can reschedeule the party immediately the following day so we can still use the cake. Siyempre that will still need the teacher's approval pa.What I'll do is to order a chocolate cake from Mary Grace monday morning (good thing we live near a mall). I bought some candies, gumpaste toppers and a Hello Kitty toy to decorate the cake. Tutal it will only be for blowing.

Some of the mommies daw served the cake to the class, but because of time constraint, i don't want to cut pa the cake there. I ordered my tita's yummy chocolate cake. I'll precut them already and place in clear containers. This way if they can't finish them, they can also bring them home.
