nope theyre not inside the classroom.  theyre just outside waiting for the kids to be dismissed.  ang hirap lang kasi ang daming point of comparison from the previous parties in school.  just last week may nag party in which even the sundo's were given spaghetti and chicken meals. 

pero ok na yung idea mo of mamon and juice!  pwedeng pwede na yun!  thanks so much!   buti nalang nag post ako ng tanong dito.

^havingsame dilemma here. Sa 31st birthday ng son ko, them feb. 13 naman ang daugther ko. They're studying in the same school so maco-compare talaga, at twice pa since dalawa sila at magkasunod.

I read this thread from page one and I'm thankful coz i got a lot of ideas. 1 hour lang din ang alloted time sa school at bawal ang games kaya magffocus na lang ako sa food at giveaways.

One of my daughter's classmates had that as the caterer. Ang ganda ng packaging at ang sarap ng food. Was able to taste it kasi di naman kumakain ng spag ang daughter ko so inuwi nya yun. I got curious kaya tinikman ko including the leftover chix lollipop. Hehe... Ni-check ko sa net, mura sya relative sa mga foodchains.

Am considering it and kfc snackbox for the food as of the moment. Divi ako sa Saturday to check things na pwede nang dun bilhin. Konti lang naman (15 per class) ang pupils so di naman siguro masyadong magastos.

Since this is my first time na magpaparty sa school, kinakabahan ako but at the same time excited.

nakaraos narin school party ng daughter ko yesterday.

Theme was disney princess.  she loved her party.  i dressed her in a semi gown bought in SM dept store and bought a real tiara.  when she entered the classroom, all the girls in class went "wow"!  so my daughter feel na feel naman, twirled in class pa.

there were 14girls in class and only 8 boys.  and all these girls went ga** over the table plastic covers na disney princess themed that my mom bought in the states for $2 each. 

tip lang, i was able to buy cardboard crowns na disney princess din in national bookstore.  halos mahimatay yung mga classmates ng anak ko nung nakita nila na they will be princesses also during the party.  as in agawan talaga sila to what color and what character they like.  patok na patok sa girls.  kesa yugn last year na ordinary party hats ko, a lot of them were complaining pa na masikip sa garter.  yesterday with the cardboard crowns, feel na feel lahat ng girls isuot talaga. they all went home wearing their crowns.

for my daughter's cake, nagpagawa ako sa red ribbon ng barbie princess picture cake.  in the middle andun yung picture ng anak ko.  again the girls went crazy over the cake, nainggit dahil may picture yung daughter ko in it.

the class adviser was the game master.  i distributed prizes.  divisoria bought lang.  some of the rubix cube biglang nasira. hahaha!  so i had to replace them nung binalik nila classmates

for the food, my daughter requested mcdo.  all got spaghetti and 1pc chicken with rice meal.  except for the 2 muslim kids, i got them 2 pc chicken with rice meal.  for the staff of the school, i got them also 2 pc chicken with rice meal.

for the sundo, mamon from red ribbon.  and juice.

for the lootbags, assorted divisoria goodies nalang.  they were happy naman.  and comparing what they got inside.  consisted of stickers, mini white board, angry birds mini projector, pens and etc.

i also gave them additional give away.  disney princess themed na hammer balloons and ben 10 hammer balloons.  i bought them in divi for 9pesos each.  inflated them at home.  ayun tuwang tuwa iwagayway ng kids yung mga balloons nila.

mga sis may kilala ba kayo supplier ng cupcake decorating activity with 8inches customized round cake na?.......my daughter will be celebrating her 4th bdy in school kasi this coming feb.=)

so far eto pa lang naaccomplish ko =)
her name would be smurfs nakabuy nako ng smurfs head mylar ballons and lootstrings na smurfs..
the invites will be made by hubby na lang . yun sa foods naman probably i will ordwer na lang from Amber yun 80php packed foods containing spaghetti, chicken lolipop, and 2 pcs. pitchi

my eldest had his fifth birthday party in school. his birthday was tuesday but we did the party on a friday since they have a 45-minute free time.

theme: angry birds, request of my son

food: was supposed to give out snack packs lang but my son said he wanted spaghetti, since yung ibang nag-birthday e spaghetti din yung handa. so we had spaghetti, chicken nuggets and cheese sandwich triangles, plus juice. most of the kids ate the nuggets and sandwich. we brought sando bags so the kids can take home their unfinished food. the styro had stickers on in that says, "The birds are not angry, coz it's time to party! It's Miguel's 5th birthday!"

for the teachers we gave spaghetti, cheese sandwich, softdrink.

lootbags: i bought small (plastic) bags from divi, not the regular lootbags na manipis. nilagyan lang namin ng food: graham crackers, oishi pillows, gummy worms and gummy bears, strawberry candies, inipit bars, butter cocnut biscuits. then we printed name tags sa stickers and stuck it on the bags, para personalized kahit konti. then at the back, me thank you sticker. nung binigay na yung lootbags sobrang excited yung mga bata since me names nilang nakalagay.

cake: regular cake lang from goldilocks. was supposed to use the angry bird characters from my son's tabletop game as toppers kaya lang no time na to sterilize the toys and decorate so ileft the cake as it is na lang.

program: the teacher led the kids for a prayer para sa son ko, then they sang Happy Birthday, then candle blowing. tapos kainan na. then bigayan na ng lootbag. super short lang, hindi na naubos yung alloted time, and the kids started playing na rin.

overall it was a fun day for my son, since he got to celebrate his birthday in school just like what his classmates did before. sobrang enjoy sya, ang ganda ng ngiti nya pag-uwi.

I am planning a pizza party in school.  Nakakasawa na kasi ang spaghetti and fried chicken party.

As for the theme, I don't want sana a movie or tv character-based theme.  I am choosing between a race car party (as opposed to the more obvious Disney Cars/Lightning McQueen) and a penguin party (since my kids like Pororo and Happy Feet).  Wala pa kong ideas on how to execute a different kind of school party.

my daughter will have her birthday party in school too. her birthday falls on a sunday so maghahanda din kami for her Sunday school classmates.

she has chosen her theme na and she wants the same theme on both parties. gusto ko sana ibahin yung isa para masaya lang. ill try to persuade her, lets see.

the celebration at her school will only be done for 20 minutes, just during their break tapos pag uwian dun ibibigay ang lootbags. ganun lang sya. pero im sure it will be special - this is her first time to celebrate it with her teacher and classmates. excited for her!

March 1 pa ang birthday ng anak ko. Her 4th birthday, and hanggang ngayon pabago-bago pa rin ang isip niya kung spongebob o rincess theme. Im glad nandito tong thread na to, madami kasing idea na nakukuha tayong mga mommies.

my son had a school party for his 4th birthday one day before the actual birthday bash.  His birthday fell on a Thursday so dun na lang kami nag school party.  There were 19 kids and some mommies and yayas are present.  We had hotdogs with marshmallows, pizza and fried chicken for the kids.  Pancit canton, garlic baby potatoes and dumplings for the adults.  I bought body bags from Toysalon by Carmela Fe as giveaways to the kids.  For the teachers, we gave out tissue holders from Handicrafts Atbp.  Costume was made by Kikowaoli here in Cavite.  The tarp that we used yun na din ginamit sa actual party nya so tipid na.  My son had fun.  I can tell that he had more fun when he celebrated with his classmates kesa dun sa actual party na mas marami ang adult guests

My son will have his 5th birthday in school din, balak ko sana may magician eh, may alam kayo who can pull off a show na mga 1 hr lang? Cheaper fee sana since di naman bongga ang party pero okay din. TIA!

kaya ang ginawa ko for my daughter's 4th birthday, puppet show nalang or bubble show.. pero parang puppets nalang. yun roppet puppet. may nakatry na ba sa kanila? gusto ko kasi un variety ng puppet plays na available. at 4200 i can choose 3 plays na.  eh meron pa educational.. okay kaya sila?

inannounce na ng daughter ko sa class na magcecelebrate siya ng 6th birthday sa school. Although March pa naman. so naisip ko since graduation practice naman un and wala na silang class nun, light meal na lang ..krispy kreme donut, refresh juice and apple or orange. Ipapapersonalize ko na lang sa brother ko yung design ng ecobag, don ko ilalagay yung foods parang loot bag na rin. for girls disney princesses and for boys naman ben10, astroboy, naruto..

My daughter's new school is sooo strict when it comes to school parties:

- invitations should be simple. No abubots or whatsoever (no problem with this cause I dont see the point on spending too much on invitations)

- no loot bags (they wouldn't even let the parents bring in the loot bags and would even send these back home)

- for the food, only 1 dry and 1 liquid food item. I think the juice is considered as a liquid item. any suggestions what to prepare? I'm thinking of ordering KFC snackbox

i'm so happy i found this topic as i am also preparing for my two girls' birthday parties in school for this year. i don't know pa talaga how to create a new topic kaya will post here. lol

biglaan lang talaga decision namin ni hubby na magcelebrate ng party sa school. since we do yearly celebrations sa ibang venues, naisip namin magtipid mode naman this year para maka-ipon din extra for our eldest's 7th birthday next year.

Si eldest wants a barbie party and si youngest naman princess party. Since 1 month lang naman pagitang ng birthday nila, minsanang pamimili at order na lang for our needed supplies.

So far i have these items in mind for our eldest(since mauuna party nya, priority ko muna to).. As per the school's party rules 15-20mins lang daw ang celebration kaya di na pwede ang games.

Food:
- Pedrico's Mini Pizzas (individually boxed - will be bought from Petron Treats near the school area)
- Krispy Cream Mini Donuts
- Zest-0
- Chicken Lollipop & Cheese Sticks (home cooked)

Loot/Giveaways:
- Personalized lunch box with contents (barbie yan yan, jelly, skittles, oreo cookies, bubbles, sticker book in barbie and superman theme)

DIYs:
- Invites, Thank you note and favor labels
- Cake and DIY kits cupcake decorating activity (with peanut butter cupcake, cupcake box, icing in container, plastic spoon, star sprinklers, pink/blue dragees, cupcake topper -- will be bought from choco lovers)
- Decor : Personalized birthday banderita and paper pompoms

sana wala akong nalimutan. ok na kaya ito? we're budgeting 5k lang. so far wala pa sa 5k lahat ng ito. yey!

Also a suggestion, rethink about serving peanut butter flavored cupcakes. Some kids, like my son, are severely allergic to peanut. Most of the time kids are not conscious on what they're eating. Baka magka medical emergency kayo while in school

hi als! im deliberating nga rin if kakayanin yung cupcake activity with the time constrain. but i've discussed this with the teacher and she's quite excited about the activity. hope lang they will extend that 15-20mins time ng konti to accomodate our activity. our daughter's birthday i think also falls on their baking/cooking day kasi kaya i plan to talk to the teacher to include that extra time to our party time. im crossing ng fingers na sana pumayag!

also, thanks for your input on the cupcake flavor sis. siguro will change flavor to black and white cupcake na lang:)
