Birthday Party in SchoolÜ

My daughter just celebrated her third birthday party in school. Her theme was Dora (As requested) so I got a Dora cake from Shoppersville and for the food, we served Shakey's bunch of lunch. In fairness to Shakey's they came exactly at 10am as requested, the only problem was ang sama ng food. The Spaghetti and chicken were so dry and the pizza was not good at all. Sana I prepared food at home nalang para na control ko yung quality.

For lootbags naman, I just got the Dora lootbags and filled them with small toys, marshmallows, lollipops, gummibears and oreo cookies - I tried to lessen the sugar since most of my daughter's classmates are ages 3 and under =) We also gave the toddlers small balloons and party hats pala

Foods for the kids: one pc chicken with spaghetti
                    Teachers: two pcs chicken with rice

Additional foods:

- 20 pcs chicken (from jollibee parin)
- home made spaghetti
- shanghai
- small cake then ill prepare some muffins nalang
- juices

last july nag birthday sa school ang panganay ko. dahil sa bagong panganak ako nun, sister ko ang nag asikaso sa school. wala naman program/games. kainan lang tapos pinakanta daw ni teacher yung anak ko sa classroom. food ng kids ay spaghetti, hotdog with marshmallow at juice. sa teachers naman nagpaluto ako sa MIL ko ng spaghetti at chicken fillet. nagustuhan naman nila at sobrang nabusog daw sila. nagpabili lang din ako ng cake para sa school. mickey mouse ang pinili ng celebrant.

Sa December 5 ang 4th birthday ng daughter ko, at sa school kami may konting celebration. Nakabili na ako sa Divi ng mga lootbags, prizes and giveaways plus balloons with Pinata. 11am ang party time, kaya dapat 8am pa lang nandun na kami para magpapahangin ng mga balloons dun sa school. Yung food pancit canton-bihon, pork bbq, lumpiang shanghai, hotdog with marshmallows on stick, then juices na lang. Cake nya 6x4" na Little Mermaid fondant chocolate from Sheryberry Sweets. Wala akong kinuhang outside host, si teacher na lang mag facilitate ng games.

paano ang set up sa games? every games ba binibigyan ng prices mga winners? paano yung mga hindi sumasali sa game?

Ask first the teacher what you can and cannot do. Like for my daughter's school 30minutes is the only allotted time. No games and no balloons.

haay at last nakaraos din ang konting party that I prepared for my son last Nov 17. Happy ako knowing na nag-enjoy mga bata kahit simple celebration lang. Thanks po mga sis kasi dito ako nakakuha ng mga tips and ideas for a school party..like the notes for moms (not to send baon)- I forgot who PM'ed me the sample (strawberry shortcake), the DYC cakes etc. Salamat sa mga inputs sissies. Anyway my son's request is an Angry Bird theme party. I orderes from Jollibee na lang spag and chicken with Pineapple Juice since bawal ang sodas. I included na rin the guardians/ate's/yaya of the kids waiting in school kaya happy din sila. Plus hubby got an Ice cream vendor.

My son celebrated his 4th birthday in school.Nakakatuwa since all his classmates were really excited.Ayaw sana namin ni hubby mag angry birds but makulit ang celebrant. Sabagay,hindi nga naman namin birthday yun e,so nasunod na rin ang bata. True enough,hit talaga sa preschool si angry birds. Balloons pa lang,nagsisigawan na ang mga kids.Much more when they saw the cake and cupcakes.Ang hirap nilang lahat papilahin since sobra lahat excited.One kid even told me that he will not eat his cupcake because he wanted to show it to his mom at home.

Invitations were given out 2 days prior to the event.
Food:Shakey's Bunch of lunch and tetra pack juice.
Cake:swell sweets. I was contemplating on baking the cake and cupcakes at home but naging busy so I just ordered almost 4 days prior to the event. Malapit sila sa house namin kaya ko pinili. Good thing though because masarap ang cake,maganda pa :-)
Lootbag: I found a lunchbag in divi,then I placed local/imported chocolates and cookies with angry birds bracelet (umiilaw),stickers,tumbler,small coloring books,bubbles and ballpen.
Angry birds balloons of course.

My daughter just had her birthday party in school this lunchtime. Theme was Disney Princesses. We just had a simple salo salo with balloons, and games. The kids enjoyed it. Cake was made by Shery Ann of Sheryberry Sweets.

mga sis, im thinking of what to do as entertainment sa school party ng turning 4 year old ko.. bale mga 1 hour 15 mins time na pwede. and that includes eating time na. i want to get sana like jiggles or other same kiddie fun. pero kaya pa ba ng time yun?

and are the entertainers cheaper pag 1 hour school party lang?

my daughter is turning 5 on jan16.  usually sa mga nag celebrate sa school, pati yung mga sundo (yaya or mommy) pinapakain din.

last year, i didnt mind including a meal each for the sundo since there were only 14kids in class.  kaso this year, my daughter's class is 22 na.  tapos the staff grew narin, there are 7 staff members.  syempre i have to order for myself, yaya and my mom and bro.  so thats 33 heads total alraedy.

if i order also for the sundo, thats additional 21.  so that will be total of 54 meals!  thats waaay too expensive na.  say for a chicken and spaghetti meal from jollibee.

is it ok if i dont order for the sundo?  i mean, it has been a common thing in school na pati yayas may pagkain.  but i really dont want to spend that much.  also i dont know the sundos anymore personally.  i started working kasi last year and don't know anymore the people in school.

its not in any way indicated in the parent's manual that you have to feed the sundo too.  so tingin nyo ok lang ba if i dont order for the yayas of my daughter's classmates?

btw, for my daughter's school party this year, girl na girl lang talaga ang gusto nyang theme.  mix of disney princess and barbie ang theme nya.

invites - from national bookstore, disney princess
prizes and lootbag items - from divi everything.  assorted items na toys.
cake - from redribbon.  picture cake na barbie.
giveaway - hammer balloon.  im not sure what theyre called really.  9 pesos each na pahaba na balloons na may character.
food - my daughter requested mcdo this year.
juice - will buy from the grocery in the condo
icecream - will buy from the grocery in the condo.

^will the sundo still be there inside the classroom? kasi if hindi naman, no need to provide for them. or you can do what my daughter's classmate's mom did: provide mamon/ensaymadas plus a tetrapak. at least thats less than Php 20 per head. or you can get a cheaper option from mcdo, like their php 25 burger
