for me, band 6 ang passing as immigrant.. but my hubby is already workin' in gp, so i gathered some points there, kaya konti na lang dagdag ko sa ielts score. but i am aiming for band 6 or 7 talaga.haha

Sa pagcompute ko ng ave grades basta maging good lang yung three like band 7 up mahahatak naman ave kahit 5 or 6 lang yung speaking.

Paano yan? 4.5 ang ave score na nakuha ko? Meaning need kko mag retake ng exam? General pala tinake ko.

Ano passing score pag immigrant?

Depende sis sang country you're planning to migrate. Sa NZ, alam ko 6.5, Sa AU, it depends which territory, may 6 and 7.

Merong deal ngayon sa beeconomic for 1day workshop for IELTS sa IDP 880 per person lang.. Ok ba yun mga sis? Pero 2013 pa yung schedules

Hmmm.. If maalam ka sis sa english and grammar, vocabulary makakasurvive ka naman sa general training exam. But if academic yan hindi ko alam.

Kabado padin ako sa result. Upon checking sa website ng papasukan kong school min og 5.5 per test dapat. Kabado ako sa speaking exam ko. kapag 5 lang yun uulitin ko lahat ng exam. Waaaah

^sis glacy, did you take review classes? my exam is on nov 17 and i did not take any review classes.

Medyo mahal din kase yung mga review classes. For me ok na yung mga downloadable review materials sa net. Madami ka din namang makukuha dun. But if you have the money, why not. 
Aside from the downloaded review materials I just took the 1 day ielts workshop few days before the exam as prep. Just so I'll know what to expect.

Sa IDP kase ako nag-take ng IELTS, sa makati. Nasa 2.2k yung workshop.  You still have time pa naman to study and practice.

^how i wish sis.hehe. di ako maka concentrate kahit nag oonline review lang ako kasi my baby is so demanding. i cannot leave him behind, breast fed kasi. though, it is not a reason.hehe. naku, i really need to pass the ielts with a total band score of 6 in order for me to pass the immigrant application. kundi, maiiwan kami ng baby ko dito pinas.

^i only took the one day workshop of the british council sa ortigas (2,200) just to see what to expect too and pareho lang sa downloadable materials kaya ok lang din kahit wag na.

Pwede naman magtake pa ulit agad sis kung d umabot.

Re review, may mga voucher na nabibili sa metrodeal and halohalodeals. Bought 51-hour session from Niner for only 999.00 through halohalodeals. May nakita akong 880.00 sa metrodeal, dont know if open pa.

Sana hindi pa puno ang november 17 exam, wala pa kasing cash eh. Huhuhuh

For me parang ok yung workshop kase parang practice na din on the actual plus some tips and to also boost your confidence. Hinahabol ko kaseng grade is 7 on all subject areas kaya medyo pressure. Pero kung confident ka naman na ok na din na wag na. depende na lang sa yo.

Medyo mahirap nga yung writing kaya dun ako nag spend ng more time on practicing and reviewing.
