Hi sisses, would u know any ielts review center in alabang or makati na pwedeng every sat lang yung sched. nag-check kasi ako sa website ng Niner kaso mon to sat 9am -4pm yung sched nila. thanks in advance

Hi! Question mga sisses.. ive read na after 13 days pwede lumabas result ng IELTS,, pano pag bumagsak, pwede ba magretake? and how long pwede maghintay para makapagtake ulit ng exam? i nid it kasi makakakuha ng ielts next month.. as dapat by May my certification or eilts result na ko..

and also, one day lang ba yung exam?

^hi sis! i took ielts exam last week and results will be released 2 weeks after exam date. the listening, reading and writing exam was 9am to 12noon while the speaking test was scheduled two days earlier. approx 15mins lang yung speaking.

are you going to take general or academic? what scores do you need? not sure lang if kelan ulit allowed if mag retake ng ielts. sis, it would be better if you will register earlier for the exam since minsan madali mapuno yung slot. like in my case, 2 slots na lang available nung nag register ako. buti nakahabol pa.

I read that you can retake the test whenever you wish. There is no limitation on how frequently candidates can sit IELTS.

@jessie, how did you prepare for the exam? did you enroll in review centers?

^i did not enroll in review center sis..hindi ko din kasi mamaximize because of my work sched. nag self review na lang ako, may mga internet sites that provide ielts review materials for the 4 modules. idp also offers free use of their review materials in their salustiana office.

Yan din kase plan ko na mag-self review na lang. Di din kaya ng sched ko umattend sa mga review centers.
How long did you spend for the review? Share naman sis ng review tips.

^sis, less than 2 weeks lang ako nakapag review. needed to take the exam asap kaya biglaan talaga. i used this site http://www.ielts-exam.net/ to review.  pag nasa office ako, lagi ako naka earphones, doing the listening exam.. para mafamiliarize sa accent. 

yung actual speaking test is parang casual conversation lang with the examiner. sa listening, importante nakafocus ka talaga sa exam. when i took the exam, antok mode pa ata ko kaya parang nawawala ako sa focus nung listening.

if i had the choice, i would review for a month.. para kasi'ng hindi ako masyado confident sa ielts exam..numbers kasi forte ko, hindi language. 

hope you don't mind sis, saan mo gagamitin ielts? general or academic?

For general yung IELTS exam na kelangan ko. At least 7 yung required band for all test types kaya kakapressure.

^nope, sis.. pero once nag start na speaking test, parang foreigner na kausap ko.  there were 3 examiners and wait ka na lang kung kanino ka maassign.

^thanks sis..got it and natawa ako na parang nagtransform yun accent ng pinoy speaker. hehe

to all sisses here, like for example you need to get the highest score for general test which is 7, ano yun kelangan mo ba sabihin when applying for IELTS para ibigay sayo yun kind of test which is equivalent to score of 7 OR you just simply need to do good on your exam para makakuha ng score of 7. Sorry medyo clueless pa ako how IELTS works.

i just received my ielts score, anyone here asked for it to be rechecked since my scores are 8.5, 7.5, 7.5 and 6.5 in writing, i need a 7 in all subtest.

congrats po! galing.. share ko lang po, total band score requirement for Australia and Canada is 5.0 lang naman po.. pero dapat out of four categories no grades minimum of 5.0. actually meron pa nga pong exemption yan e.. basta you have 5 years continuous education from h.s to college na walang gap. kaso sa agency kasi na pinapasukan ko now, lalaki lang pinapa-alis namin.. more on skilled workers lang..

kung hindi ka naman exempted required ka talagang mag-take nun kung gusto mo talagang mag-pursue sa mga bansa na mandatory requirement is yung IELTS Exam..

Parang i read before na 7.0 ang kelangan for skilled migrant sa AU for each test to get 10 points. If lower, zero points. But if 8.0 you'll get 20 points.
