^ i wonder if yun ibang tour organizers being endorsed in another forum (PEX) are good and safe enough. they offer cheaper rates kasi and more activities

mukhang din ok sila sis kasi dun nagpatour ang mga friends ko sa pex. limot ko nga lang ang name ng organizer.

^^ hi sis OD, are u referring to the Northlink? lam ko ok din sila, cheaper ang rate sa kanila and may office talaga sila sa Daet. =)

^ yup sis, that's correct. Although may isa pa na I was able to get a hold of from PEX and resident yata doon. I made plans to go there last weekend of May but there was a storm brewing days before then. Despite the ominous weather, tuloy pa din daw sabi nun naka-usap ko coz storm advisory said it would have passed na daw even before the weekend commences. I didnt risk it kasi typically, maalon pa after a typhoon.

^right decision sis, maalon pa talaga right after typhoon, knowing na its Calaguas kahit walang bagyo, mejo may kalakihan talaga mga alon. =)

yup! tama nga si chyng. Kasi muntik na kaming dalhin sa barangay nila kuya haha. Buti mejo humina ang alon (malakas pa din kahit mahina na sa kanila) kaya nakauwi naman kami ng ligtas nung pumunta kami. Babalikan ko nalang ulit iyon, this time iyong super summer naman.

Basta sa paracale ka wag sa vinzons kapag medyo naulan, kasi mas malakas daw alon doon kaya nahaharang ng coastguard

Gusto kong malibot ang Pilipinas..

hi OD! went to calaguas last april and I got the services of northlink... nakabuo ako ng 29pax sa group...

i'll recommend nothlink's services kasi ok kausap si sir darius and he's nice madali siyang kausap and lahat yata ng i-request ko/namin binigay nila... sila pa ang ngpa-book ng transpo namin pabalik and they even let the Philtranco Bus na sunduin kami sa bagasbas para hindi na kami mahirapan pumunta sa Daet...my travel buddies can attest to that...

alam ko meron pa akong na-recommend na isang group sa pex and they also got northlink's services...

anyway halos pareho naman rates nila with other organizers, if not a bit cheaper. But whoah! 29 pax... i seriously doubt if I could come up with a similar number of peeps, probably not even half of that. Good thing that you mentioned it

kayo lang ba na group ang in-entertain ng Northlink and in-adjust ba nila yun rate in your case?

january ko naisip na i want to go to calaguas tapos ang trip is april pa, then kinontact ko lahat ng travel buddies ko...so sila may mga ininvite na friends and officemates kaya nakabuo ako ng 29pax hehe...

yung rate hindi na inadjust still the same, i just asked for freebies and even prizes for our games hehe... kaya pala northlink ang pinili ko as our tour provider kasi sa lahat ng tinext ko that day si sir darius lang ang tumawag sa akin

on that weekend i know 3 groups kami under northlink pero kami lang na group ang ng-overnight yung iba day tour lang...

Went to Calaguas and Bagasbas, Daet Camarines Norte last weekend.
Kalowka ang travel!
Almost 10hrs from Manila to Daet Camarines Norte.
The usual 1.5hrs-2hrs boat travel to Calaguas Island took us 3 hours!
Sobrang nakakainip!

Sobrang alon kaya nahirapan ang boat.
Pero sulit naman when we get there.
The sand is white and really fine.

But it may some time before i could go back to this place.
Siguro pag may plane na that will drop me off to the island.

May nakapunta na po sa inyo dun?
We may have the same experiences.

sis binx, nagpunta ako ng Calaguas last May and ganun lang din halos yung boat travel namin,2-3 hours.. hindi naman super maalon nun...

ok na ba magtravel dun ng January? or malakas pa alon nun?

sayang hindi pa sya ganun ka accessible,talagang dAdayuhin mo at bonggang commute (unless may yate ka) para makita ang ganda ng Calaguas.. pero n fairness sulit naman siya pagnakarating ka dun...

i sooo miss calaguas! talagang na-inlove ako sa island na ito. napuntahan ko na ang bora and some fine almost-white beaches in luzon, pero nung nakita ko ang calaguas, iba yung emotional attachment ko sa kanya. parang ayoko na umalis dun.. can't explain in words

always check ng weather bago pupunta, from november til march malakas ang dagat because of amihan, use big boats kasi pag maliit natyempuhan ka ng malaking alon malamang lubog..
