Although minsan, I must admit, parang feeling ko masyado akong hard sa sarili ko. Sinanay kasi ako ng parents ko na magtipid kaya madalang kong i-pamper ang sarili ko kahit naman kumikita ako ng sariling pera. Tuwing sahod ang binibili ko eh food for the whole family (kaya ako tumataba eh ) hindi naman sa nagrereklamo ako, I feel genuinely happy pag nakikita kong nabibigyan ko ng mga masasarap na pagkain yung mga kapatid ko (nakakatuwa kasi silang tingnan), pero parang nale-left out ko na yung mga pansarili kong pangangailangan. So I guess, isa yung family sa mga puedeng dahilan kung bakit wala pa rin akong lovelife (at mukhang matagal pa ako magkakaroon). haha, para kasing nakaka-guilty (parang luxury ang pagbo-boyfriend), mas uunahin ang responsibilidad sa pamilya bago ang pagkakaroon ng bf

^Agree, sis! Kung sino pang single sila pa magaganda.

Totoo iyan. Kasi mataas ang percentage ng may partners/asawa nalolosyang kakaisip how to retain their men.  Kasi madalas ang manloloko na lalaki na sakit lang ng ulo.  Kaya kahit single minsan mas ok pa kesa sa may BF/asawa.  At if ever magBF/asawa, dapat siguraduhin na hindi babaero.

I just posted a response in another thread here in GT about household chores.  If married and staying in 1 rood, men normally want to be served at lahat ng chores sa babae. Naman!  Tapos expect nila ang babae will be all smiles kapag umuwi sila ng late (enjoying gimik with friends) tapos yung babae lahat gagawa ng household chores while taking care of kids, at the same time, pretty parin?!  Pano naman mangyayari yun!?

^ Ay, korek ka diyan sis!!  Naman diba, ang labo ng expectations ng ganyang klase ng guys.  Gusto nila all the work e sa babae napupunta pero ineexpect nila na hindi pagod yung girl, all smiles, super fashionable, pretty and sexy pa rin kahit na haggardness yung gawain ng girl every single day habang yung guy e pa-enjoy-enjoy lang.  Yaya/personal assistant/maid/doormat naman ang talagang hinahanap ng mga ganyan and not a wife/girlfriend.

Marami akong kilalang single girls who are wary about the guys that they meet, and marami akong kilalang married women na ang daming rants about their husbands.  Kaya sa totoo lang, hindi ako nagmamadaling magjump into a relationship just for the sake of having one, kahit na may mga nagcocomment na kesyo bakit single pa rin ako.  Ang dami ko nang nakitang cautionary tales kaya alam ko na it's better to be sure than to be sorry and frustrated na you can't shoot the creep 

Kaya enjoy lang yung time na to, gamitin sa sarili, try to make myself a better person, spend time with loved ones habang may opportunity pa.  Wag paikutin ang mundo sa guys, because there are a lot more important things in this world than them.  Pag dumating si The One, e di good, pero we shouldn't put our life on hold kakaantay lang for that.

When I was single:

Went back to college to study the course I really want
Traveled
Spent time with family
Prayed and thanked God for the happiness I attained from focusing on myself, family and friends

sports, travel, taking up short courses sa school, spent time with my family, magpaganda,

I did the following:
- work harder, if i will not be successful in love life, at least i have a successful career
- do short courses in programming.  Dream ko kasi maging programmer.
- i trained in badminton... Joined tournaments
- travel... which up to now im still doing
- save, invest, buy a lot and condo para kung dumating yung true love ko eh financially stable na ako
- joined charity events
- buy the things that i love
- mountaineering (believe it or not dito ko na meet ang fiance ko)

Self-fulfillment and i enjoyed my life while still single.
