using credit card of non-passenger to travel

airlines require that travellers bring with them a photocopy of the ID and the credit card used if the owner of the credit card is not travelling with the passenger. Does this mean that the travelling passenger should present the owner's credit card copy back and front? di ba dangerous to? or pwedeng front lang?

Madaming beses ko ng binilhan ng tiket online ang relatives ko plus some friends pero never ko silang binigyan ng photocopy ng credit card nor ID ko. Wala naman naging problem. Hindi nila ako kasama sa flight nila.

Meron lang ako isang friend na nag-insist kasi honeymoon nila and worried sya na baka mag-ka-hassle. So I gave them my credit card and ok naman.

If you need to give to somebody na hindi mo trusted, burahin mo na lang yung 3-digits # sa likod ng card mo sa photocopy.

sis anong airline po sila?  kami kase PAL, we will be traveling abroad and di kasama yong may ari ng credit card na nagbook sa amin...ok lang kaya?

Just photocopy the front, no need to photocopy the back for security reasons. The airline will understand that.

in my case, i used the credit card of a friend to book my hotel. WHen I checked in, hindi naman hinanap ang xerox copy ng ccard nya.

my husband's siblings usually ask him to book airline tickets for them using his credit card. he just gives a photocopy of his ID and front and back of the card pero he covers the security code.

Just photocopy the front, no need to photocopy the back for security reasons. The airline will understand that.

yes, sa PAL they are asking for a copy of ID and CC, pero ako front page lang ng CC binibigay ko, ok naman basta ibilin nyo na lang din sa pag bibigyan ng copy na wag itapon kung san-san baka me makapulot na halang ang kaluluwa, betteryet, burahin nga ang 3digit code sa likod but with Cebu pacific carry lang, no need for these

has anyone tried booking a international flight for somebody using credit card? example:  i'd like to book a flight for my hub from italy to manila?  pwede rin kaya na photocopy/ scanned copy lang present during check in? tia.

^photocopy lang naman talaga hinihingi sis upon check-in. kahit yong front lang ng card tsaka valid ID ng cardholder. para lang siguro sure din yong airlines na hindi mo ninakaw yong card & ginamit sa booking nila.

Share ko lang experience namin regarding this: Sa Qatar Airways to ha: MIL bought a ticket for my mother using her cc: Si MIL nasa Europe, mother ko nasa pinas, pagdating sa airport hinanapan siya ng "documents" dahil hindi siya ang nagbayad, at pagkatapos ng mahabang pakiusap,pakikipag away sa mga taga QR sa pinas, ayun! di nakasakay ang nanay ko. So ang nirequire ng QR, was a document stamped and verified by the QR in Europe. Kung tama ang naalala ko,pinaphotocopy ni MIL cc niya with ID,then she went to QR office nga sa Europe at pinastampan niya then email sa QR sa pinas, ayun tsaka palang nakaalis ang nanay ko at nagbayad pa kami ng penalty, haist!! Kaya tuloy nadala na kami sa pagamit ng cc pag hindi kami ang passenger.

yes photocopy of CC(front only) with card holder valid ID, photocopy din. Nung wala pa kong CC at madalas makiswipe kay friend, pero sa AirPhil lang yun. Sa CebuPac di sila mahigpit sa ganun.

this happened to me before, pero credit card ko n nga ang ginamit ko that time, pero nung magconfirm ako ng reservation k s PAL the day before my flight aba hindi p daw ako bayad, napapunta tuloy ako ng wala sa oras n local PAL office dun s province namin, buti n lang nagconfirm ako kundi pupunta ako dun eh wala naman pala ako s flight manifest kung nagkataon.

another instance s cebu pac naman i booked a flight for my parents, buti n lang naging sigurista ako kumopya n ako ng ID ko and yung CC tapos pinadala ko s parents ko, dahil hindi nga ako nagkamali hiningan sila ng proof n may access nga sila sa card n ginamit during booking.

all of this happened years ago pa... ngayon nagbbooked ako ng flight with cebu pac using my mom's cc kasi yung cc company ko blocked nila ang cebu pacific kasi "security threat" daw kahit tinawagan k n at sinabing yes that was me booking a flight, ganun p din. kaya hinayaan k n lang. so far wala p namang nagiging problema uli.

last march, sa cebu pac hindi na kami ni-require ng documents upon check-in.  i used my cousin's credit card to pay for our tickets to hk at hindi siya kasama nun.

cebu pacific doesn't require cc copy.

pal / zest air - they require cc copy + id of the cardholder kung di siya kasama sa mag ta travel.

Just give copy of the front page of the cc + id - ok na yun.

same rules pa din ba till now? pede pa din magbook using other's cc as long as me photocopy ng cc and valid id?

^ depende sa airline sis... tulad sa BIL ko, muntikan na den hindi makaalis kasi ang ticket na ginamit pang bayad is yung CC ko, eh nasa SG siya... so buti na lang bago pa flight niya napuntahan kuna sa mismong office to confirm sa Jetstar, pag na confirm naman na nila iuupdate na nila sa system yun... iniiwasan lang talaga nila yung mga na fraud na CC...di den naten sila masisisi...kaya bago mag bayad read mo muna naten ng maige ang mga terms of payment...
