Kaka Kuha ko lang ng healthcard from a friend.EastWest HealthCard, search ninyo sa sulit. Ang ganda ng benefits, parang corporate account na pwede kahit saan malapit na clinic ka magpa check up.

Dejavu, un kapatid ko pala kumuha ng EASTWEST Healthcard sa friend ko na nagpost sa sulit. Na try niya na daw magpa check up last week sa SM un Medical City. Awesome daw, hindi sya nagka problema, ang mura pa daw ng card compared sa maxicare nya dati.

Wait ko pa delivery ng healthcard ko, masubukan ko agad. Philcare meron ako dati, pupunta pa ako sa Makati office nila para lang pa check up. Hassle!

na try ko na maxicare at intellicare..

for me mas OK at madaming benefits ang Maxicare yan yung sa dati kong company.

ngayon, intellicare kami. grabe, ang liit ng limit, di pa covered ang maternity except actually delivery (maliit na limit, reimbursement pa!) pero thankful na din kesa wala.

^ na try ko na rin Maxicare and Intellicare before okay naman kasi company benefit. Kapag ba I pay for it personally worth it naman ba? Pinag iisipan kasi namin, kung kukuha kaming HMO or health insurance. Kasi pagkaintindi ko sa dalawa, HMO may network of doctors ka lang pwede puntahan pero walang bayad sa check up. Negative lang narinig ko, minsan kapag nalaman ng doctor na HMO parang hindi sila ganun ka-okay magcheck up, para bang may discrimination. Kapag naman medical insurance, we still have to pay out of pocket tapos refund mangyayari dba? Naisip ko kasi, with Philhealth mababawasan hospital charges. Ano kaya mas practical sa 2, HMO or medical insurance?

^ ang alam ko sis corporate accounts lang ang intellicare e. so far, wala naman akong bad experience na minamadali sa check up or anything pag nalaman na HMO. mostly naman kasi, sa mga clinics e puro HMO holders nagpapacheck up. tska kung meron man, I can always go to another doctor. ganyan gawain ko, pag di ko feel, lipat ng doctor. it will help pag nagja jive kayo ng doctor mo, hindi lang basta patient-doctor relationship.

hmm.. not sure sa medical insurance pero alam ko reimbursement nga mostly sa kanila.

kung philhealth accredited, direct debit na yon basta complete requirements before discharge lalo na pag confinement.

siguro sa coverage lang sila magkakatalo. pero syempre iba yung convenience ng HMO na direct debit if accredited clinic/hospital lalo na pag wala ka cash on hand. may flexi terms naman siguro pag personal accounts lang.

I have Kaiser Healthcare and Asian Life with my company. Maxicare dati sa company pero nag mahal. Yung mom ko is covered din under me sa Asian Life pero I want to purchase another one for her.

I am planning to purchase healthcare cards for my mom and aunts. May alam ba kayo na mura na hindi siya renewable? Yung pwede ko pa ring pakinabangan after a while even if the yearly benefits aren't used? They're all like senior na. Mahirap na ata yun, noh? Pero I still foresee kasi na they would be needing money soon for health issues. ANd I am not yet prepared.

mga sis pa assist naman..meron kasi akong kumare na gusto magka health insurance,di ko lang kasi alam paano siya makakuha sa house lang kasi siya and wala pang work..pero yung friend ko na yun afford naman magbayad ng insurance kasi may savings naman daw..di ko kasi alam isasagot ko buti naligaw ako sa thread na ‘to meron pala nito..if ever po possible at may ma refer kayo Maxicare ang gusto niya paki reply lang po para masabihan ko siya..ty!!

sa health card ba covered rin ang medicines? para sa mga nag me-maintenance na gamot? wala kasi akong idea pano sa pinas ang ganyan..

I got mine from Blue Cross. Very accommodating yung representatives nila and they have very good after sales customer care. Haven't tried using it though as I've never been confined (thank God!). But they generally have good reviews over the net.

Philcare and Maxicare are among the most common choices too, especially for corporate accounts.

^Thanks for mentioning that here, sis, I just inquired about it as well. I'm always interested in in-patient and emergency only health insurance. It's nice to know of adifferent option other than Blue Cross. I chose Blue Cross before because you can choose whichever doctor/clinic/hospital you want, but I like that in PhilCare, you don't need to fork out cash since it's not reimbursement type. This will depend on how wide PhilCare's accredited network is.

^sis that's why i'm thinking to get it nga eh.ayaw ko kasi ng may monthly premiums.Their Annual Premium of P4,468.80 is good for an Annual Benefit Limit of P120,000 for all illnesses na kaya not bad na din.
