for the first year, P5000/disease lang ang covered nila for both non-dreaded and dreaded conditions.

for the 2nd year, maximum benefit limit (depending on the plan) for non-dreaded and P5000/disease for dreaded

for the succeeding years, maximum benefit limit na for both dreaded and non-dreaded

kanina magpapa blood test at thyroid scan sana ako pero dineny nila kasi daw maconsume ko na yung P5000 for thyroid-related disease. and since thyroid diseases are under dreaded conditions, if magpaparenew ako this year, P5000 pa rin maximum benefit ko. after a year ko pa mapapakinabangan yung P60,000 maximum benefit limit.

for those na nagbabalak na kumuha ng maxicare individual/family account, just be aware na may ganitong conditions.

Pwede pa kaya kumuha ng Individual HMO Card kapag 1-3 months pregnant na? Kung possible pa na kumuha magagamit mo kaya yung healthcard mo on your first year of membership?

^wala naman maternity benefits ang hmo pag individual/family acct sis if ibig mo sabihin kukuha ka tapos yun gagamitin sa hosp pag manganak.

i used to be under medicard ok ang service at most of the major hospitals cover talaga. Even parents ko wala ako worries kasi annual check up nila talagang lahat undergo sa test to check.

Question: If overseas can I still apply for these health cards for my parents? normally ano ang arrangement? or mas ok na kumuha na lang ako ng insurance?

paano ba un..kasi di pa kami married ng bf ko pero may baby na kami at live-in kami..gusto niya ako ikuha saka si baby ng healthcard,kaya lang baka di pwede kasi di pa kami married..

i have maxicare medyo mabigat lang 4558 per qtr . gold plan and may pre existing ako . pero okay nman may coverage na 10k ang pre existing ko kaya lang ang laki nga ng increase sa 2012 rate 5200plus na ang quarterly .  pero ok naman so far ang labs ko eh umabot na ng 5k .  and naka ilang consult na din ako sa derma , endo and ob.  pwede siya sa medical city

When can you start using your Maxicare card once you have been approved?

Confirm ko lang sa mga maxicare members, hindi ba talaga covered ang maternity?

And nabasa ko rin, hindi rin ba kasama ang "circumcision?". Its for my child kasi. Please correct me guys if im wrong.

Ang feedback ng friend ko, lagi siya hirap at matagal sa pila ng maxicare. Kaya pag pinapacheck up niya ang kid niya she is still paying 600php instead of 300 nalang ata if she uses ng HMO, eh kaso tutubuan ka naman daw ng ugat sa pila. Ok sana savings at tipid, pero yung hassle at time matagal daw.

Naghahanap pa rin ako ng ok na HMO, na makakatipid ako pero sana walang sakit sa ulo. I onced witnessed a lady who's been screaming her heart out at nakikipag-away sa HMO agent niya (hindi ko alam kung anong HMO niya), kasi hindi ata covered ng healthcard niya yung sakit niya. Parang emergency ata siyang ooperahan, kaso hindi ata covered yung gagawin sa kanya. Natawa nalang ako sa hirit ng babae "hindi ako mamamatay sa sakit ko, mas mamamatay ako sa inyo".

Any medicard contact person here? pinagpapasa pasahan lang nila ako.. gusto ko na maumpisahan yung process for HMO enrollment nila since need pa magundergo ng medical exam yung ipapamember ko.

hi sis yes pag individual need ng medical exam muna and you should pay 450 since hindi pa member  need din ng fasting 8-10 hrs.before mag laboratory exam. fyi
