Nag placenta previa ako at 18 weeks. Nag bed rest ako then at 22 weeks no previa but low lying. Sabi ni OB kailangan umakyat pa kundi ma CS ako. Dapat at least 5cm daw yung distance from the cervix. She said bawal lakad ng lakad, bawal mag push, bawal buhat mabigat. basta mag daw mag effort masyado.

Bawal din contact sis ni hubby.

I had low lying placenta before pero nag high lying naman at 35weeks. Placenta was posterior.

Posterior means located at the back of the uterus. Fundal means the top of the uterus. Yup, it's ok sis. :)

On my 20 weeks ultrasound, low-lying placenta grade 1, breech position. OB didn't seem to worry at all..so, it helps also for me not to be anxious...just said that we will see the progress on your next ultrasound

Thanks for your response sissies!

breech, and sometimes transverse is common with low lying placentas sis. My son was breech at 23weeks but he turned vertex at the next ultrasound. Around 27weeks :)

Sis, good for you that it became high lying..

Had my ultrasound today at 35 weeks, it is low-lying but not previa ...placenta is posterior, grade 2 and cephalic position according to the radiologist.

My OB-SONO is on vacation leave till 1st week of Jan 2014, kaya radiologist ang gumawa ng scan.. nagulat lang ako kasi as per OB-Sono not low-lying @ my 28 wks scan...

Well, my point of view mas trusted ko naman ang OB-SONO kasi expertise nya talaga ito, no offense meant for the radiologist

Hi mommies,

It's been awhile since na update itong thread, tanong lang sa mga mommies na placenta previa or low lying placenta, anong nangyari? ang move ba ang placenta eventually? nakapg normal delivery ba kayo?

I'm 25 weeks pregnant, nung 19 weeks ultrasound ko, placenta proterior - grade 2 near internal OS ako nun. Medyo worried ako, pero sabi ni OB nothing to be worried about at at 36th week pa yung next ultrasound ko.

So yung mga naka experience nito, anong nangyari? na move ba yung placenta? normal or CS ba?

Thanks in advance

^ I was diagnosed with placenta previa totalis at 17 weeks, then low-lying na lang at 21 weeks, unfortunately di na talaga tumaas, though most naman daw still go up as the baby grows, di lang talaga nakisama yung akin. Lol. Had my BPS scan at 34 weeks and low lying pa din 3.9cm away from internal OS. Di namin na-reach yung target at least na 4.5cm so my OB scheduled me for CS at 38 weeks, di daw ako pwede abutin ng full labor kasi prone to bleeding, fortunately naman umabot kami to full term, prone din daw kasi for pre-term labor those with low lying placenta or placenta previa, kaya I'm really thankful na nagfull-term kami. I was on bed rest from 17 weeks kasi nags-spotting ako on and off until about 25 weeks, 34 weeks++ medyo lumalabas na ko kahit low lying padin basta wag lang matagtag.

CS nga lang pero at least me and my baby were safe and healthy si baby. Don't worry you're still on your 2nd trim pa naman so big chance pa na umakyat placenta mo just don't stress yourself out, wag magbuhat or gumawa ng anything heavy. Pray.

Thank you sa reply! :) Hindi naman ako previa, wala ding spotting. I hope mag iba ng position si baby. normal or cs, basta we're both safe and healthy, happy na ako.

I'm almost 14wks preggy na. Had my check up yesterday. Accdg to my ob, medyo mababa daw placenta ko pero usually naman daw umiikot pa yun. Basta sabi nya lang wag daw magpapagod. I still have a long way so sana umayos pa sya before my duedate. :)
