Nagtanong ako dati sa Mercury ng generic MOM --di na daw binebenta dito. Sabi nung pharmacist, meron daw brand Maalox, pero ibang formulation daw yun kasi hindi pure MOM. Di ko alam kung this is better or worse than using generic MOM. Seems to work for some of our sisses.

hi sis, maalox is not pure milk of magnesia. it has aluminum hydroxide. i use Phillips' milk of magnesia. i got it from the states but there are several sellers in ebay and sulit. it's very effective. i highly recommend it!

I've tried Philips MOM though hindi naman talaga ganun ka oily ang skin ko i can say it's a good primer. kasi i had my make up on since 7-8 in the morning till 8-9 in the evening hindi talaga ko nag retouch all day even once! no break outs din. dapat lang talaga super thin layer lang ang pag lalagay para walang white film pag nag dry na :)

I tried maalox and yes it is effective. It is however not recommended for everyday use, my skin got a bit flaky and rough.

Never use anti-oil products during the night, if anything use a moisturizer. Your skin needs to breathe and be able to get rid of excess oils/dirt :)

ang hirap naman maghanap ng mom, wala dito sa pinas,,maalox nga ang binibigay ng pharmasist,,ang mahal kasi for experiment ko lang naman,,so tried the generic p40 lang...i tried it  on my son's armpit,,so far sabi nya hindi sya gaano nagpawis...i put nga pala [textspeak!] generic na maalox sa empty deo para madali gamitin,,,

siguro kung maalox lang talaga on ly option, ang safe zone lang is yung mismong nose area. kasi yun hindi talaga nagrrough pagka oily skin :)

Ni-recommend din ito ni Tyra Banks.

Sana may mas maliit pa dun sa nakita ko. Di naman kasi ako ma-acid sa tiyan. How long kaya ang shelf-life nito kapag nasa ref.

Parang gusto ko lalo na kapag may pupuntahang wedding or formal event, not for everyday. Ayaw ko kasi ng nag-p-powder over cream foundation. Nawawala yung natural look nung foundation.

You put a small amount on your fingertip or on a cottonball and spread thinly on your face or underarm.

I can attest that milk of magnesia is good in controlling oiliness and also an excellent make-up primer.  I have yet to try it as a deodorant.

Meron 60 ml. pala na maalox, 98 pesos sa mercury. Naglagay ako onti sa spray bottle, para di masyado madami yung mapunta sa cotton pad.

Applied it sa kalahati ng mukha ko to test. OK naman!!! :D

Ang saya, it's dewy instead of oily :P

nabasa ko [textspeak!] din dito re: maalox
what i do is di ko shina shake yun bottle kapg ggmitin ko
para di masyadong marami na white after mo i apply s aface
and mas oki pg gnun,

cleanse tone (moisturize a little bit) then ito na yun pinaka primer ko
then my missha bb cream then powder na

and i can say yes hindi ka na gnun mgiging ka oily
super oily kasi ako kaya ako ng try nito

but yes not good for everyday use kasi mgiging super dry k [textspeak!] afterwards
kaya after need to put a lot moisturizer ( mine is physiogel)
