Yes, kailangan ng visa except sa Jeju Island. You cannot leave that island without a visa.

^ Confused din ako sa Jeju Island. May direct flights ba? Ang mga nakikita ko kasi dadaan muna sa Incheon then lipat sa domestic plane going to Jeju. Thus, kailangan ko ng VISA.

Sa Palau di rin kelngn ng visa. Ganda sobra dun.. maganda yung mag beaches, super linis.

btw, as the thread starter, thanks for all you replies. i didn't get to go on a solo trip to any of the countries w/o visa reqt's but i went on a local trip with strangers.

I was so happy to find out that Maldives and Sri Lanka didn't require visas for Filipinos.   Yung Sri Lanka kasi is on my list of places to visit and surprised ako kasi India requires visa.

For those who want to visit Taiwan, if you have a US visa (or I think some of the bigger countries' visa din, not just US), no need to apply for visa.

Oh sorry for the misunderstanding, no, it's not like that!   You just don't have to apply for visa if you have those na.  Pero if you don't have, you just apply the conventional way for visa to enter Taiwan.  Hope this clarifies.

naku, kakainis nga tayo e.  I am working abroad e since Philippine passport holder ako, ang daming napurnadang mga dapat na pupuntahan ko for some projects namin.  di na kasi kaya ng oras para kumuha ng visa, etc because of time constraints.  E di dapat nakapag-UK, Argentina na ko.  Nafufrustrate na tuloy boss ko sa daming issues daw sa atin pag Philippine passport holder ka.  Dami kelangan, dami tinatanong, etc.

^ang sad naman sis ... akala ko since your working abroad medyo madali na maka kuha ng visa sa ibang countries lalu na if you are going on business hirap din pala. which makes me worried. gusto ko pa sanang pumunta ng taiwan next year makakuha kaya ako dito sa SG or i still have to process it sa Pinas?

totoo yan. very very true. Minsan, kahit Multinational Company executive ka pa, pag TRIP nila, ordinary OFW pa ang trato sa iyo. and this even HAPPENS in the embassies here in the Phils. KAPWA mo pinoy, UNREASONABLY strict sa iyo. (as per with my dad's experience. bossing  na nga company niya sa ibang bansa ang tumawag, inisnab pa nila!)  pero pag foreign passport holder ka na. HARI ang trato sa iyo. sarap pa makita mga mukha nila na PUZZLED. kasi may hawak kang passport na hindi Philippine passport at hindi ka nila ma-SUPLADAHAN at UBER galang pa sila sa iyo.
