Davao - Pearl Farm

^don't remember the buffet rates, pero we had buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner when we were there. I think ok lang naman to get buffet if you're just going for two nights.  I remember really loving this seafood dish they cooked for you na may white sauce. Sarap.

As mama squeak said, Malipano island is nice. If you want to go beach swimming, go to that island, they have hourly boat trips. Meron pang ledge where you can take pictures in the middle of the sea (pero di naman super layo, pang jump shots lang)

One of the nights, our buffet was in Malipano, they had a bbq beach party of some sort

All in all, I think we spent P15k for 3D/2N including the plane fare na. this was in 2009.

The rates  in Agoda  are  exclusive  of certain charges which amount to P1000, more or less.

We are leaving sometime in June.   I don't think  we can bring  stuff like snorkeling gear.  Bawal nga din pagkain.

Davao is hardly bagyuhin.  (But with the current climate change, who can tell? Boink!)  I picked Samal kasi  nakakatamad to go all the way to the hilltop rooms.  The others naman are too big for us.

Tiyagaan lang talaga (and swerte na din)  ang  paghanap ng murang rate.  I  checked with agoda, asiatravel, asiarooms, pearl farm's  website,  travelmart and several others (travelmart  something, sa multiply and  sulit.com.ph).   I've been to pearl farm a long time ago,  but with the new management and all, this time is like  my first time. I am expecting  updated menus, refurbished rooms, the works!

@ayionick - sis, hindi na updated yung buffet and a la carte rates ko since this was back in 2007 pa. Basta the whole 6 days came out to 36K including accommodation/food and massage/facial at their spa. The airfare is free because hubs flies for 5J kaya libre tickets namin.

Update mo kami after your trip. Planning to go back one of these days. Tataon ko din sa durian festival ng Davao para eat all you can na durian.

Maybe this will help since I was there last December 2010. Buffet was around 500++ per person at that time.

Ingat lang sa jewelry nawalan ako after getting a massage on our last night. I super loved pearl farm kaso after that incident which is traumatizing kasi almost engagement ring nawala sa akin. So I suggest dont get a massage nalang inside your room. Wala din silang safe.

sa Agoda kame nagbook ng Samal House, around P4,200 with free breakfast, airport and ferry transfers for 2 persons. Meron din sa Agoda nung Hilltop, mas mura ng konti sa Samal House. Yung sa promo nila ngayon sa site, mas mahal lang ng konti sa Agoda pero di ko sure kung meron din yung free airport transfer.
