Glad to hear different stories from you guys. Nakaka inspire and it helps a lot in coming up with a right idea on what home business to start. although not all may be successful but at least, always give it a try, and never give up. makakahnap din tayo ng right business para sa atin.
btw, anyone can give me the best place to shop for online selling of clothes, shoes, lingerie, kids stuff and anything under the sun .... I already started online shop this january, so far may konti pa lang na inquiries at buyers. I do sell also in my neighbors and relatives who doesnt have time to use computers. is  divisoria advisable to shop for quality and cheap products? anyone can suggest a good and reliable supplier? thanks much

hi...this thread is so helpful for those stay at home moms looking for a source of income without leaving their kids I keep on following this thread and im coming up with a lot of ideas on what kind of business to start and what suits my lifestyle. acually to share some, aside from online business, i also have in my mind starting a lending business, which requires a small capital, depending also on your capabilities kung gaano ang kaya mo ilabas. but as of this moment i am starting a sidecar food business, also  a small capital needed to fuel up my ideas. aside from the money itself, have to consider first the people i will hire, vendor actually, must be hardworking and honest and no records of any legal circumstances. you know guys, this business isnt glamorous but it really is making a lot of money. proven bcoz my close friend had already started this one, initially, 6 sidecars, 6 vendors and the products. so far he was making 50k to 90k a month...net.

6 sidecars, 6 products and stocks, at earning 50k-80k/mo lang.

I earn that in one week, sometimes one day, w/o any risk of losing money.

Ok ang earnings ng online selling, lalu na if stuffs are from the US. Before monthly may box ako galing US, but then madami natirang stocks, because some are not so appealing kaya hindi mabenta. I guess sale nung binili dun kaya kahit hindi kagandahan binili pa din. Pero nabawi pa din. Now, I have sa small convenience store in our house. It earns 4-6k a day, maliit ang kita pero ok na din for extra income. Sellable ang beverages (softdrinks, beer, lalu na alak hehe), load and yosi.

sis dona626 I think you're the best person to ask. I've been having 2nd thoughts about renting a place to put up a sari sari store. The rent is 22k. The place is quite small but there is heavy foot traffic in the area. Do you think I can survive the rent? Also, you mentioned 4-6k a day, wow that's pretty high, would like to know if that's gross or net income? Thank you so much in advance.

The best people to ask, are those that are doing business on your
target area.

22k may be too much or too little, depending on the sales.
It's relative.

Hindi ganon kaimportante ang foot traffic. Mas importante kung
buyers ba mga dumadaan diyan.

Ask around.

Pero, kung sari-sari store... medyo malabo, since 10-30% lang margins
sa benta, and most products eh nasa 10-15% range lang.

Kung 22k ang rent, add mo gastos sa tao, ilaw, etc, mga 30-40k/mo.

So papatak dapat at least 400k/mo ang benta mo para lang mabayaran
mga fixed costs mo, o 10-12k/day average na benta.

Mas maganda maglagay ka ng food, mas malaki patong,
pero tanong tanong ka pa rin.

Yung 4-6k na mentioned above, malamang gross yan. Tubo nasa 400-1000
lang per day.

At hindi mo rin maaasahan na araw-araw ganyan.

Kaya need mong magtanong tanong diyan.

Anong araw malakas.

Kung malapit sa simbahan yan, malamang pag Sunday maraming tao.

Pag schools, weekdays.

Pag offices, mas ok pag Fridays, depende sa anong klaseng tindahan mo.

I'm still currently employed but I'm almost 5months pregnant and I have 2 kids (8 years old and 10monts) kaya I want to dedicate my time for my family. It's true nga sis na aside from the 22k rent ang dami pa ng dapat iconsider.. ang hirap talagang magdecide. I'll try to ask around and observe the area. Thank you so much

i agree, P22k is quite steep. Mahirap kitain kung sari sari store lang. Maliit lang ang mark up sa mga grocery/sari sari items. Babawi ka talaga sa volume. So kung di all day matao sa area, parang mahirap bawiin ang renta. agree with sis 05m-m50, baka mamaya nga madami ngang tao pero dumadaan lang pala and hindi naman bumibili. so balewala din. ayaw mo munang mag try magbenta online sis, para wala munang capital. mag post ka sa fb account mo, and start selling to your contacts para mas mabilis. once na nagkaroon ka na ng sale, mas magiging madali na yung susunod. basta maging visible ka lang palagi online. ako i started online 3 years ago, till now, online padin lang, mas madami ng clients and less hassle. nagtry na din akong magbazaar, hirap bawiin ang renta sa pwesto, pagod pa.

^^onga e thank you sa input mga sis it was very eye opening to me.. kasi I've been giving a lot of thoughts for quite some time now and I finally decided not to invest in it. I've tried selling online din before ng kung ano2 kaso natigil when I gave birth but I must say it really paid well. Sis msals2007
where do you get your goods? Do you have suppliers or anything? I want to try din the paid surveys and I've come accross some legit sites although it takes too much time and effort for just a few bucks. Ang hirap kasi I'm so torn from staying or resigning from my job and being a full time wife and mom.

A good home-based business is something which you can automate. Something which you can teach someone to do it without the need to be very hands on later on para you have more time with your kids

so it's important talaga to invest in tools/machines that are very user-friendly and can automate a lot of tasks in the business.

ngayon hindi na ako 100% na nasa store kasi alam na ng tao ko paano gamitin yung digital printing machine namin. kahit pag gawa ng sales reports, naautomate ng machine ko.

I agree with sis mommynigerl. Many SAHMs need a business that will still allow them to take care of the kids and the hubby so consider that and your interests and you'll find the homebased job that matches you.

yep maraming gumagawa niyan right now. para mamaximize mo yung design business u can consider actual web design din and/or design of printed materials. may souvenir shop ako and many of my brides pay companies na may calligraphy/logo/monogram service so pwede ring isama yan sa ganyang design biz. gusto ko nga ring i-offer yan kaya lang wala na kong time magdagdag ng service e
