Kagagaling lang namin sa Anawangin and we enjoyed the trip although sobrang init ngayon doon. We rented a van from Cavite for a group of 14 plus 1 child. P9,500 ang siningil ni Mang Rodel for 2 days with 2 drivers and it includes toll gates, driver's salary and meals, parking fee. For our tour, we contacted a group called Kaladkad Tour, which met us at Kristel's Paradisio. Price is P600 per head and it includes everything: boat to Anawanging and island hopping to Camara and Capones, tents, huts, charcoal, mineral water, bonfire, ice, and kitchen utensils. Their advertisement at Sulit says they even provide tour guides but you will not be needing it because the hill trek is well-established with trails and ropes and there is always a good number of people going up. While swimming, we noticed a lone lady always tagging along wherever we go. When we spoke to her, it turned out she is our lifeguard. Nice. We are satisfied with the service of this tour group which we contacted because of their ad at Sulit. Ang advice ko lang is to still bring your own kaldero and sandok, water and ice because what they provide won't be enough if they have a lot of people to attend to. Even charcoal is konti lang buti na lang may sarili kaming butane stove. We also brought a lot of banana leaves for plates and nagkamay lang kami. We stayed at Anawangin and sobra ngang dami ng tao and ang iba, ayaw talaga magpatulog. But since puyat kami the day before because we traveled at 3:30 am and had to wake up at 2, ang sarap pa din ng tulog namin. We brought out our yoga mats and hammocks and slept outside our tents. It's nice to sleep in the open gazing at the stars. We planned to do bonfires sana and brought hotdogs and marshmallows but we all fell asleep. Low bat. Wala halos hangin and walang alon, this was April 20 and 21, 2013. The next morning, we were truly refreshed and, even though we expected a riot night, we enjoyed our sleep more. Overall, sa budget naming P20,000 for our office outing, may sukli pa kami. Some lessons learned: Bring cooked food for your first day. Akala namin pwedeng mag-breakfast sa San Antonio Market pero wala palang pwedeng kainan doon. We finished at the public market around 10:00 a.m. without eating breakfast. Kung may dala kaming cooked food pwede sanang kumain sa Kristel's Paradisio. Instead, the boatman was waiting for us and we had to go island-hopping immediately, with our bags and all and no breakfast or lunch. We would have enjoyed Camara and Capones on a full stomach. We arrived at Anawangin around 1pm, with our raw food which we have to cook pa. Pero mas masarap pala kumain pag talagang gutom kayo. So advice to all, bring cooked food for your first day. Anawangin's toilet is another issue. Bring your own small pail and tabo so you can bathe inside the cubicles or be prepared to bathe outside, sa tabi ng drum. Problema pag No. 2. Buti na lang their toilet is the type na isang tabo lang kailangan. If you're not too OC pwede na especially if you remember that you want to experience the outdoor. You are in the wild. Great experience. We are definitely coming back, but maybe in the cooler months.
