for me, i don't belive that

"Love is Blind".  Why?  I believe that EMOTIONS are blind, not just love itself.

 emotions such as hatred (you are blind to the person's good qualities and only see the bad traits), fear (blind to hope of being rescued or escaping the bad situation), anger (blind to the consequences of your uncontrolled temper, etc.

The last  person I heard that from was this woman who is beaten up by her husband every week.   That is the frequency now, it has escalated.
